Helt greit Hotell nær Seaworld og International Drive med alle attraksjoner, shopping og butikker. En I-ride Trolley (hop on - hop off) rett utenfor hotellet som kjører opp og ned Int. Drive. Hotellet er pent og rent og med hyggelig betjening. Veldig trivelig bassengområde. Vanlig type rom med 2 Kingsize senger og bad / garderobe. Savner kjøleskap på rommet. grei pris på overnattingen. Et minus er SPA avdelingen. Vil du betale mye for veldig lite så er det stedet. Følte meg egentlig litt lurt - spa behandlingen var dyr (til og med etter norske forhold) og de prøvde hele tiden å få deg til å betale mer, samtidig som behandllngen var kortere enn beskrevet. I tillegg hadde de lagt til USD 30 i Tips noe som jeg synes var ganske mye i tillegg til en dyr SPA behandling. Tips er noe jeg synes man skal gi frivillig og ikke noe som bare legges til automatisk og særlig ikke et så høyt beløp.

Everything was good but the carpet looks old and we had a some problems with the shower but they took care aboutt. The bathroom is too old. all instalations are excellent...

great hotel, my family first visit to disney world, its the ideal location to all theme park. the staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel is just a quick boat ride to Hollywood Studios. The drinks are $10.00 each. (pricey), but good! Overall it was a pleasent and peaceful experience. It almost seemed like we weren't in Disnet at all.

"Dolphin Disney--Sleeping on the floor is no fun"
So, everyone around me is checking in, no problem. My check in specialist says wait a minute I will be right back and disappears for a rather long time. Not a good sign. She emerges to tell me that I am in luck. They have two rooms for my family(I guess Hotel.com reservations and luck are one an the same). One single king and one with two queens. I […] say, " there must be a mistake, I asked for two rooms each with two queen beds" (there are seven of us). I am told quite matter of factly that I am incorrect that I only asked for two rooms ...could that be true. I fumble for my reservations which I do not have immediately in hand (first mistake) . We proceed to our rooms. I get back on line to Hotels.com and bring up my reservations. Clearly it says 2 rooms with two queen beds for a party of 7. What gives. Perhaps the fine print gives. "Great Hotel!"
The Dolphin hotel is great for many reasons. The fact that it is a Disney hotel and offers transportation to the theme parks is a big plus! Also, it has many great restaurants! The pool and playground area is awesome for kids. And the walkway to Epcot and boat to Hollywood Studios make are the icing on the cake! I loved the hotel.

This was our second consecutive visit to the Dolphin and we absolutely love the location. You can walk to Epcot and the Boardwalk and it's a short boat ride to Hollywood Studios. Hotel nice but long checkin and checkout delays made for bad start. 45 minutes is way to long to wait with family waiting to get to local parks.
"Mixed experience at the WDW Dolphin"
The WDW Dolphin is a decent hotel that I booked on a good sale. From the outside, it's easy to forget that the WDW Dolphin is not a Disney hotel. But it's easy to remember when you stay there. The hotel is massive, colorful, pleasant and clean, but it lacks little details that separate a Disney hotel from a non-Disney hotel that happens to be well-placed […] on Disney property. Signage: My wife and I were scheduled to meet old friends at the Dolphin pool area. We tried to find it using a hotel map, but no luck. Looked for signs in lobby, but could find none. Asked an employee in the lobby for directions. He happily gave us some that, when followed, took us to an alarmed exterior door that warned of dire consequences should one dare open the door in anything other than an emergency. From that labyrinthine spot, we called my friends, who had found the pool, got directions from them, but never made it when my wife did ligament damage to her knee walking one of the many staircases back from the alarmed door. In two nights and parts of three days, we never found the pool. The little things: When we made it back to the lobby, with my wife limping very badly, I inquired about a wheelchair I might borrow from the hotel during our stay. I was informed that the hotel has none. We were out of luck. You want to know the difference between a Disney hotel and a non-Disney hotel? The Dolphin has no wheelchairs to help their guests. The Boardwalk Resort (a Disney hotel a moderate walk away) lent my wife a wheelchair for the duration of our stay, at no cost, even though we were not staying at that hotel! Extraordinary. We arrived at the Dolphin two hours before check-in time. This has never been a problem at a Disney Hotel. At the Dolphin, our room was not ready but the front desk took my cell phone number, promising to call as soon as the room was ready. not happy about parking fees and resort fees at all They were not disclosed prior to booking the hotel is not the best of places to stay, very hard to get around and very few exits to pathways around the hotel. Each exit door came to said emg exit only, so had to walk around to find way out when could have been on walkway to parks

Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower was one of the best I ever had in a hotel - good water pressure. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Hotel was nice and clean. Staff friendly. You pay a premium for everything. Think paying movie popcorn prices for everything. You are on Disney property and roughly 5 miles from civilization, so you pay the luxury surcharge!

My husband and I just went to the Dolphin to go back to Disney for the first time without kids. We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. We got to check in early and were able to enjoy Hollywood Studios after checking in. The grounds were beautifully kept and the beautiful friendly. Thanks Disney!

I would not recommend this hotel for a couple of reasons: It took me like 10 minutes in line to check in and another 10 minutes to wait for my car in the valet when I wanted to leave. I paid a resort fee for water and internet access. I asked two days for the water to be deliver to my room and that never happend. Beautiful hotel, friendly service, great location within Disneyworld but without the Mickey overload of a regular Disney resort. Every restaurent we ate at was reasonable and delicious. Pool/beach area is georgeous. I'm a little picky but have no complaints about this hotel you'd have to be really unreasonable to find fault.

Nice hotel, good facilities, excellent staff, but expensive. Nothing free, even wifi. Very convenient for Disney attractions (shuttle buses or water taxi to Epcot), but for anything or anywhere else it's a car ride. Consequently, forced to use bar/restaurants etc. Room fee is supplemented by a daily car parking fee, daily room service fee. We stayed at the Dolphin from 1/7/12 - 1/9/12. A quick trip to get my Mickey fix. I had never stayed here before I usually stay on Disney property but wanted to take advantage of a lower rate. For us, the property was fine. Great place for a convention, but when I go to Disney, I want to be immersed in the magic. This stay was lacking that. "Very Nice Hotels"
We stayed here for the Disney Marathon, I was very pleased with the hotel and the room. It is a Disney resort hotel so the on site restaurants are pricey. I had no problem paying for the hotel parking because it gets you access into all the parks, that considered just treat yourself to valet. Another nice option here is the Disney Transportation, for […] any event or park access you can get right onto Disney Bus transport to any where you need to go. The only extra charge is the Resort Fee, I think it was $14 or $15 a night, just know that is not covered by your Hotels.com payment. Les mer
“Expected much higher standards from Disney” Jan 9, 2012 JohnT260 My family and I stayed at the Dolphin from 6-8 January 2012. We thought that we would stay on Disney property since I was participating in the Disney Marathon weekend. We were greeted by the valet with smiles and we were all very excited about staying here. The smiles quickly diminished […] once we arrived in our room. We were greeted in our bathroom by a hanging towel with blood stains on it and dried blood splatters in the sink. Once we got passed this we tried to relax the rest of the night. The following day we decided to eat at the Fountain restaurant there in the hotel. We were sadly disappointed when my daughter received a obviously molded hamburger bun for her lunch, our appetizer finally arrived once we were done with our main course. Oh and let me not forget to mention that even though substitutions were made at a higher price, none of those substitutions were adhered to on our plates, however each one was charged to our bill. To finish off this wonderful stay, we were charged for 3 self parking days at $15.00 per day and 2 valet parking days at $20.00 per day. Let me remind you that we were only there for 2 total days. We received a very good last minute deal at the Dolphin Hotel through Hotel.com. It was magical walking into the lobby at Christmas time. Gorgeous decorations, with the huge tree in the lobby area and the train. Everyone was extremely nice, as well. Very nice rooms w/ great beds. Overall the hotel was nice with following advantages and disadvantages: Advantage: Disney hotel with disney transport and extra hours at park. NICE SWIMMING POOLS and lobby. FREE INTERNET included in the package. Check if your booking includes RESORT PACKAGE. Disadvantage: Paid extra money for lake view but there was hardly any lake view. Also no […] fireworks could be seen. Supposedly there is an extra charge for illumination view. Room was smaller than expected with a perpetually partly blocked sink.
