"Close to Airport"
I was only at this hotel for 10 hours (overnight stay); it was perfect for what I needed: close access to the airport, at a reasonable price. The room I stayed in was aesthetically pleasing, clean and fresh. You will not be disappointed

"Disgusting, unsafe neighborhood, shady clientele"
Rating is misleading. Does not deserve 3.9. I am a 30 something woman who travelled by herself. Hotel is in scary neighborhood and hotel itself was full of construction worker types who stared at me in an unflattering way when I checked in & out. When I got to my room I had to listen to a man and his girlfriend/wife screaming at the tops of their lungs […] at one another for an hour. Definitely felt unsafe the whole time I was there. Room looked superficially OK but had some nasty brown stuff (which might've been some sort of plaster but I didn't touch it to make sure) caked on the tile inside the shower. If you need the airport but not a great neighborhood for restaurants or other activities. Room was small but adequate for the short overnight stay before departure.

The hotel is dated but the room was clean. The breakfast was average but they even had a girl cooking eggs for you with onions, jalepeno and cheese. For us this was a one night stop on our trip so it was all fine. Nothing fancy. It is right on the highway so you hear that but I'm a deep sleeper and it did not bother me.

Convenient for the airport, but not to the city. Rooms are hipper than you'd expect. Nice HD tvs. Fine if you just need a place to stay near the airport, but not for a NOLA vacation.

The Sleep Inn was fine for one night; we were there for a total of less than 10 hours. We didn't get in until 1:30am so missed out on the breakfast but it looked like it would have been substantial. There is a Wendy's next door but didn't seem like much else was in the area.

I was in town visiting a friend for the weekend. The weekend was fabulous and the rooom was even more wonderful. It was so easy to find, very accessible to the interstate, close to the shopping centers, and i had no problem finding nothing. "Room keys didnt work"
After a 8.5 hour drive I really wanted to get into my hotel room. The front desk gave me two keys, and neither one of them worked. I asked the front dest to fix the problem politely, and the keys were reprogramed. They did not open the door again. After four times of this I spoke with the head of maintnence, and he gave me his master key to the doors, […] promising to return with a solution to the problem. He never returned. "New orleans airport sleep inn"
I preplanned to pick up from the airport 2 to 3 weeks in advance but even with that the airport pickup was late at least 15 minutes then when I get to the hotel I have to wait in line to get checked in with the hotel knowing that I've already been held longer than what I should have been then there was no offers or anything to try and keep my business. […] Then when I get to my room I find that the room is small and there's not even a stand for luggage. I regretted spending money on this hotel and I would not recommend it to anybody Les mer

The location was ideal to New Orleans. The only dislike was my non-smoking room was next to someone smoking and you could smell in my room. But other than that I enjoyed my stay.

"Poor and Rude management"
I was give the wrong type of room upon arrival. After the manager fixed this issue and we put our stuff into our room, and decided to go to dinner. I recieved a call from the front desk to say that they were in possession of my son's phone. After speaking with management, it was clear that someone went into our room and removed our stuff and went through […] my sons phone to get my phone number. I was advised my the manager that he had no record of anyone being in that room (even though he was the one who put me there) After having a few rude responses from him, i decided to go back to the hotel. I spoke with manager about this issue and wanted to know why someone removed my items from the room and then put them back, he said that wasnt true. I caught him in about 3 lies until he finally put his hands in the air and said "My bad". And after all of this...my key didnt work when i tried to go back to my room. NEVER AGAIN!!! And they tried to blame Hotels.com for the reason my room was wrong in the first place. They even showed me how much Hotels.com paid them for my room.....and it wasnt what i paid, much less actually. "Management misleading."
When we first arrived we made shuttle reservations for 12:00 pm to go the the port on Sunday morining per the managers suggestions and approval. When Sunday came around we asked at 9:00 am about the shuttle to the port and they said the only shuttle going out is to the airport. We asked when we were going to be informed and they did not have an answer […] for us. We had to share a taxi between another group. We had to fit 5 adults, 5 large suit cases and 3 carry on bags in the taxi cause the driver was only making one trip cause of the Saints game. We had to squish, and clean out the trunk to make 4 of the suitcaes fit and the large one was on our laps and the carry on bag were also on our laps. We were not please with the service. Les mer
I stayed at this hotel for it's close proximity to the airport, and the availability of a shuttle. I was greeted by friendly helpful staff. I was pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of my room. Despite the cleanliness of the room, and hotel in general I was not happy to discover a GIANT roach or water bug in my room! Other than my uninvited guest, […] I had a pleasant stay. Les mer

Bathroom was smallest we have ever encountered (shower only) - sink/vanity was open to room. Early morning shuttle only begins at 5 am. Management & staff very accomodating and helpful.

The hotels downtown new Orleans were all booked. This hotel turned out to be fairly convienant with a great price. Right at the interstate, which was exactly what I needed. Breakfast was sufficient .

rooms very surprisingly hip and modern for a modest budget hotel: management seems to be doing a good job keeping things up on a modest scale. walls are a little thin, but not annoyingly so. breakfast buffet by far one of the most impressive I've ever seen in an American budget hotel. a good range of options, and even a waffle iron!

"Last Minute"
It was a last minute reservation but i was very pleased with it. staff was very pleasant and the room was nice. it was a little muggy because the air was off but once the air started to flow. No problems.
This is a good cheap hotel with convenience to all attractions

"great hotel but stay inside"
hotel, great location, desk staff fantastis, breakfast MmmmmMmmm good. Kind of noisy in the hall way, but at least you can't hear through the walls. Nice interior design, very modern, very comfortable. Down side.....all the police sirens and fire trucks going by late at noght.

Stay was nice at this hotel beds was good, stay was nice and the breakfast was great a really hot breakfast to get this for the price you payed for hotel was a plus to me. Also the price of gas was really good at $2.99 a gallon on this Saturday.

My visit to New Orleans was very spur of the moment. I had read some of the reviews prior to booking and this hotel seemed to fit what I needed--a place to stay over night for a reasonable rate. To my surprise, this hotel was recently remodeled, the staff was genuinely helpful and friendly and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever […] slept in at a hotel. The hotel is very convenient to the airport and a $33 cab ride to Bourbon Street! The neighborhood that the hotel is located in however is nothing to writ ehome about. "Sleep Inn Loyola"
The hotel staff were friendly. The room was clean beds were comfortable. My only complaint is there was no microwave and refrigerator in the room as stated on the website. I had to wait for them to be brought in the room only to be placed in an akward place in the room. There was no designated spot in the room for the microwave or the refrigerator.
