"Clean and Convenient"
Nice place. Clean, quiet, and relatively easy to get to. Very close to Rushmore Mall for people wanting to shop, and to I-90 for those wanting to head westbound or eastbound in morning. May wish to vetilate rooms after housekeeping has been there, someone sensitive to cleaners noticed the smell significantly before it was vented. Hotel was very nice, convenient and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. Great FULL breakfast included in price. Room was nicely appointed and exceptionally clean. Would recommend it to anyone.

I based my selection of this motel on reviews from other customers at this site. The motel turned out to be everything I hoped for - a nice place at a convenient location for a low price. It is convenient to the major freeway running through Rapid City and close to a gas station and a couple of chain restaurants, with many other options at nearby freeway […] exits. "Great stay"
We stayed for several days for a local function and found the employees to be quite helpful and pleasant. The rooms were clean and neat and the wifi signal was stong. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
Great location, close to I-90.
"Excellent Stay"
We didn't go to Rapid City to spend a great deal of time in our room. With that in mind, this hotel exceeded our expectations and then some. Everyone we encountered that worked there was extremely nice. Upon leaving, I noticed they had a cleanliness award sitting on there counter. Let me just say, it's well deserved. "Courteous and quiet"
The staff were very courteous. Breakfast area was a little crowded and busy. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
"Nice stay"
Overall we had a nice stay. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. We brought our dog and were in a pet room. We expected it to smell like dogs but there were no signs of other pets in the room. Good location off the freeway made it easy to drive to the sites we wanted to see.

"Good value Hotel"
This is a good value hotel. The room was quiet and the breakfast was tasty. It is a convenient location near the interstate, the mall and restaurants. It is also easy to travel to downtown Rapid City and on to Black Hills attractions. The staff was helpful and friendly. We will surely stay here again.

This hotel was conveniently right off the interstate, however left a lot to be desired. There was little hot water for a shower. The maid did not make our bed the next day (we had a 2 night stay) The remote control for the television did not work. All of these little things made the stay very irritating regardless of the value.
"Rapid Wreck"
Old hotel that has not been refurbished. Very poor condition. Okay to flop if nothing else is available. Staff friendly. This is easily the worst Americas Best Value Inn that I have stayed at.

This is a great location, close to downtown and Mt Rushmore. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed, flat screen TV, microwave and fridge. "Really Liked this Hotel"
We'd never stayed at an America's Best Value Inn before so we were pleasantly surprised. Right off the interstate and easy to drive to Mt Rushmore. Clean lobby, large and comfortable rooms, helpful reception staff. A delightful place. Good breakfast--we'd never had biscuits and gravy before (yum).
"Nice Base of Operation for Black Hills area"
This was a nice hotel that served as our base of operations for a visit to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Staff were very friendly. The free breakfast was good. There were a number of places to eat or shop within in easy driving distance. Overall, no complaints. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

It was a very cozy room that met our needs. We loved the atmosphere of the hotel and the security. The maid service was very kind and made sure all needs were met. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of fruits, cereals, bagels, and juices. Also, there was milk, waffles and biscuits and gravy. "America's Best Value Inn"
We were pleased with our two day stay. There were numerous options for meals close by. It was relative close to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and Bear Country (a must visit). Room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast area was small, with the basic choices, waffles, cereals, toast and sweet rolls. The hotel was clean and the staff was very polite. However, the room was really small even for just the two of us. I had to move out of the way to let my husband out of the bathroom. The sink area was too small and right by the door so people in the hall could see you getting ready. I would not stay there again. For the price, there are better places […] to stay. Les mer

We were initially sent to a room that had not been cleaned yet. They then sent us to a room that had been cleaned, but smelled funny. Nothing that a bottle of Fabreze spray from Walmart didn't fix. We were looking forward to the pool and spa. They said the outdoor pool was closed because of lightning. Then they said the indoor spa was closed because […] it had a window. ???? My room had a window also, should I have not gone back to it? Overall stay was decent. Breakfast was pretty awesome. They worked hard to keep everything stocked. Les mer
"Good place to stay for the price"
We stayed here for a night, it's close to all of the major attractions near Mount Rushmore. Pet friendly rooms which we liked....our beds were horribly uncomfortable but we weren't expecting much haha. I'd stay again if I happened to be up in Rapid City, it was clean and a good price.

When I checked in, the desk clerk was very friendly and told me that I had a free upgrade to a king room. The room was very well appointed w/ a micro and fridge. and a very comfortable bed. The vessel sink and vanity were beautiful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Hotel was very conveniently off the freeway and close to a good variety of places to eat or pick up supplies if you're traveling. We wanted a clean safe place just for the night and this hotel was fine for that.

"Internet a bit of a flop"
Hotel staff suggested that the location of my room in reference to the wireless antenna was the cause of my slow to none existent internet. Staff respected my green ways of not changing sheets and cleaning room unnecessarily. Location was close to interstate and many of the tourist attractions.
"Great room for the money"
I was just looking for a place to lay my head down and get a good night's sleep. This place is nothing fancy, but is very convenient & close to the interstate, but without "road noise". It worked.

We were so happy with our stay! The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, the staff friendly and the breakfast - what a bonus. It was a great way to start the day. The location is so convenient, we jumped on the interstate and were on our way. I plan to stay again when in the area.

"Great Location"
Stayed during Sturgis, great location close to highway. Pricey for property type, but guess for rally to be expected. Breakfast included, could have had more fruit/cereal options make your own waffles a nice touch. Would recommend.

This hotel is easy to find and near shops and restaurants. It is well kept and covers all the basics for a comfortable room at a reasonable price.

Hotel was located right off of 90 which made traveling very easy. It was the perfect distance from state parks and Rushmore. Looking for a great hotel, this is the place.
