Svært fornøyd med oppholdet på hotellet , meget serviceminded personell , god frokost , mulig litt støy i spisesalen , men helt grei mat. Svært hyggelige og imøtekommende personell , både i skranken , og butikken eller han som satte vekk bagasjen. Lett å få tidlig innsjekking og sen utsjekking . Alt i alt , meget bra. Savnet minibar på rommet eller i alle fall et kjøleskap , men ellers var det ismaskin i gangen. Selv i New York var det mulig å få et stille rom.

Familie med to tenåringsdøtre. Fantastisk beliggenhet, flott service og komfortable rom. Suite Prestige med to dobble senger. Vi anbefaler dette hotellet sterkt om noen vil bo sentralt og vi er ikke i tvil om hvor vi skal bo neste gang. Det koster noen penger, men i forhold til beliggenhet og det du har igjen så er det ok.

Rene rom og god service - men veldig små rom. Måtte ha den ene kofferten på badet for å få plass. Men renholdet er viktigere enn størrelsen. Veldig bra beliggenhet og gåavstand til mange av hovedgatene på Manhatten.

Veldig bra opphold over 4 dager. Frokosten var grei nok. Vår datter på 15 var veldig fornøyd. Veldig god service i resepsjonen. Egen turistinformasjon som kunne gi mange tips til aktiviteter. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Veldig fint hotell øst på Manhatten. Flott, ryddig og rent rom og bad. Gåavstand til nærmeste subway. Anbefales på det sterkeste.
"Hotell med nydelig utsikt"
Vi bodde på Bentley i 6 netter. Rommene var fine og rene. Romslige for i være NY. Interiøret var smakfullt og utsikten fantastisk. Betjeningen var vennlig. Spesielt ene dørmannen hjalp oss veldig. Alt i alt så Hadde vi ett flott opphold og kunne gjerne bodd der igjen. Positivt: utsikt, interiøret. Negativt: heisen var treg, AC bråkete.

"Rommene er større enn hva som er vanlig i NY"
Vi bodde i 18etg og hørte lite til trafikken, fine store rom, hyggelige hotellansatte, men hakket for langt til nærmeste t-banestasjon. Ble lei av å gå strekningen flere ganger om dagen.
"Stilig hotell med svært bråkete aircondition"
Både rom og lobby er svært stilig, og frokostrommet har nydelig utsikt over østlige Manhatten. Svært bråkete aircondition med ingen muligheter til å åpne vinduene, så det var vanskelig å sove. Greit å komme seg rundt, bare 10 min gange til T-bane
"Fint hotell med mye trafikkstøy"
Hotellet var flott og vi fikk god service. Det er beliggenheten som er det negative ved hotellet. Det går veier med stor trafikk rundt hele hotellet som ligger med bensinstasjon i 1etg. hvor mange skal innom i løpet av døgnet. Vi bodde i 3etg. og opplevde mye støy. "Dårlig lydisolering"
Rent rom, god service. Men rommet var ekstremt dårlig lydisolert. Ytterdørene var laget slik at det var en glippe på kanskje 0,5cm. Da hører man det meste på gangen. Slik var alle rommene på vår etasje ihvertfall. I tillegg så er dobbeltrommene konstruert slik at de har en dør mellom 2 og 2 enheter (hvis man reiser mange sammen). Det medfører at det […] blir også dårlig lydisolering mellom rommene (kunne høre ekstremt klart at naboen hostet, så tv, raslet i papir). Men betjeningen sørget riktignok for at naborommet vårt var tomt resten av besøket. Airconditionen var heller ikke av nyeste sort, men grei nok. Rommet var rent og pent. Les mer

"Upper East Side location"
Slightly off the beaten track but fine location on York Avenue. Relatively close to Bloomingdale's for shopping, and the 6 subway line. Room ok size; no ventilation in the bathroom. Small table and two chairs in room. Nice view facing West (20th floor!). Windows do not open in the room itself. Comfortable bed. Did not try the in house restaurant. "Lovely Room No Amenities"
The room was lovely. The decor is nice and modern and my bed oh so very comfy. I had a room that had a 180 degree view, which was wonderful for me because I love having natural light. I was there for business and the desk that faced the wall of windows was perfectly lit. Unfortunately, this is where the gushing stops. The temperature was always a little […] off in the room no matter how much I adjusted it. Other reviews discuss the bathroom concept they have. The water does get everywhere. Kinda has the feeling of an upscale locker room shower because of that. I didn't mind that too much. I don't get however, why they decided to have no counter space in the bathroom. Not even a toilet seat. Weird. The absolute worst part of the stay was the clear way in which the owners do not seem to invest in the stay. The staff there is super friendly for the most part. There is only room service after 5PM with a very uninspiring menu. When I went to the $18 Buffet/Hot breakfast there was only ONE person working the floor. By this I mean, he was the host, waiter, server, and busperson. That is totally unacceptable. I felt bad for the guy. If you are peckish in the late afternoon and 5PM seems to be hours away, don't expect to jot around the corner. There are lovely restaurants nearby but they are a few blocks away, which sucks when its a surprisingly cold day. It was okay for the price. The lovely room made much of the annoyances fade away. Room I booked was not available but substitute, with smaller beds, had a great view...hotel staff helpful and friendly...all amenities were available at extra cost, e.g., coffee in-room, refrigerator, microwave, internet..all add-ons...including buffet breakfast...absence of ice and vending machines also..

Disappointed from arrival. Initally assigned us to a room that had not been cleaned/serviced from the last guest. Next room was in a back corner with blocked out windows, again unacceptable. Finally after agreeing to wait for the original room to be serviced, they had to put us in another room because cleaning the first room was "too difficult". Very […] ruded and "bothered" front desk help... finally got the help of someone who was acceptably pleasant. Top floor bar disorganized and not very attentive. Would not recommend this hotel. "location makes up for other things"
The location of the hotel is really nice. We had some bad luck with getting a smoking room the first night, the stuff was nice and fixed it the day after though. Overall the stay was ok, would I book it again, probably not. If your room is below the 8th floor the noise of the street is quite high, might be a general thing for NYC though...
"Looks good but far from giving a good service"
The hotel looks good and gives a good appearance of a four or five stars hotel. But in fact, the service is not that good. The room for a couple is ok. But a room for 3 is smaller then from a double room and there is no space even to put you luggage. The stuff is the most bothering thing. You can ask for something 3 times and you will not get it. If […] they tell you that things are taken care of, you'll find out that they aren't when the next shift arrives. The women in the stuff (and I really mean it- I met some other guests that said the same mainly about the women) are not showing any intention to help you or to even listen to you. If you're already stuck with this hotel and you have a request, go to one of the men. And on top, the staff tends to lie to you so they would get rid of you until you give up. Eventually, if you're going for one night, for a double room... It's probably be ok. If you're heading for a longer stay, you'd feel the hostility and it's not worth it. Les mer

We really liked the hotel. We intended to stay only one night, but extended the stay. We liked that we could park on the site and thought it was reasonably priced.
"Decent 3-4 star hotel"
The hotel is in a really nice location in the Upper East Side and the staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. Really good price for the location. Rooms are nice, good sized, clean, and comfortable. The hotel has a fun atmosphere to it. Still, the bathrooms could be improved a bit. They look nice, but for example, the shower has one of those partial […] screens which still allow a lot of water to get onto the floor. Also, I was there in mid-April 2012, and there is serious construction going on out front of the hotel, and it is happening 7 days per week and construction begins at 7am each day (yes, on Saturday and Sunday too). "Great location on upper east side"
We had a very nice stay. The only issue was that wireless internet service did not work in our particular room. However, the hotel gave us a free access code to use in the lobby.
Good location. Quite noisy if staying on the FDR side as the traffic never lets up. Would stay at the Bentley again. Staff was very helpful.

Our daughter book this hotel for us as an anniversary gift. The Hotel Could not be more accommodating. The staff is friendly, attentive and very warm. The staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we felt very welcomed and new if we needed anything that they would go out of their way for us. The room was very clean and […] the view was beautiful. The room is well decorated with a fun trendy style. The hotel is a little away from the congestion of mid town so it is nice when you leave or want to go for a walk, you can have some peace or enjoy a walk along the east river. "o.k.hotel"
Bathroom could have been cleaner. I found a few hairs that did not belong to us on the bathtowels and the floor was dirty. The beds were comfortable but we were put in a two bed room instead of the king bed we reserved . It was close to my daughter's apartment which was a plus but was a long walk to subways. a little overpriced.

The Bentley was very clean even though the room was very small. The staff was very helpful. We liked the neighborhood and its ease to shopping and subway.

This was definitely not a 4 star hotel with poor heating and cooling system and a staff that was less then helpful at times. I did not even know they had a roof top bar until I checked out. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We booked a King but were only given a King which did not start tyhe stay on a positive note. On the way out the […] door man grabed our luggage and dragged in town the stairs in front breaking the handle. Not a 4 star Les mer

I requested a smoking room when booking and didnt get it no fridge in room keys to rooms kept deactivating and we had to keep goin back to reception the tv was on the blink.service in resturant very slow and go and the place was freezing....i would not go back to this hotel location was good but u could not even get a chilled bottle of water for room […] ......and no service at the reception bar to get cold drink overall we were not happy with this hotel Les mer
"The Bentley Hotel - A week in New York"
Very welcoming hotel with good facilities which unfortunately were not pointed out to us such as a business suite or gym. The room was very clean but strangely was not cleaned sometimes to around 4 to 5.30pm in the early evening. Overall the experience was good and enjoyable.
Great Hotel with good location. Very helpfull staff and great beds. A hotel to recommend if you want to see New York from another perspective and far away from Time Square.

"Hotel Bentley"
Cant speak highly enough of the hotel and the staff. Very quick to satisfy any queries, and extremely helpful when asking about recommendations. We had a small issue with the air con in the first couple of days, rang down to the front desk and a maintenance guy arrived less than 5 minutes later and had it corrected almost instantly - thumbs up for service […] and speed. Rooms were spotless and cleaned throughly every day. I'm struggling to remember the lady on the front desks name, I believe it was Alexia or Alicia - but she was fantastic during the stay, very pleasant and extremely helpful, made our stay even better. She had some great recommendations for restaurants and bars. A big thank you to her, and she deffinately makes the hotel!!! Hotel is in a nice quiet area, approx ten minute walk to the nearest subway which takes you straight to times square. Good diner on the way to the subway (The Ritz Diner), open 24 hours and great food - def recommend trying. If you dont like the subway late at night, a taxi is only 12 - 15 dollars from times square to the hotel. Les mer
"Bentley - A hotel where you don't feel boxed in"
The location of the hotel with no close neighbors means that you don't feel boxed in, and nobody looks into your room from across the street. The the hotel has a nice atmosphere with a very friendly and helpful staff. However it's about time for a make-over as particularly the bar and the roof top restaurant are quite worn down.

"Hitel Bentley in NYC-Quirky but fun"
I think it was trying to sell itself as a hip place to stay but without the attitude...that made the puff chairs and animal print carpet that much more fun. Very close to everything you could possibly need.
"Great Hotel, with An Amazing View!"
This hotel has an amazing view and a real modern look. Staff is great and the neighborhood is great also, a couple blocks up there are bars etc. If you are driving in there is also a parking lot up the block they do not charge as much so it's pretty cool. Will certainly be visiting this location again.

I had an event to go to on 88th street. It was a good location for me to do that. Lacks ice machine - need to call for ice. Great views from roof top lounge.
