vi vandret under søylene i en trygg og sjarmerende by.Behagelig prisnivå,god restaurant like bak hotellet,4retters for en god pris,spør i resep.Tok toget til Ferara og en dag til Firenze,funker bra.Utmerket hotel for spennende utflukter fra BolognaMye for pengeneher,frokosten er grei nok,mye god kaffe før dagsprogrammet starter.

Helt greit hotell med grei beliggenhet. Ligger like ved jernbanestasjonen, og flybussen er også like i nærheten. Tar 2-3 min gangavstand til de nevnte stedene. Forøvrig sentral beliggenhet, og med gangavstand til hovedgata med masse kles-og skobutikker. Tar vel en 15-20 min å spasere til tårnene og kirka som ligger midt i sentrum. Anbefaler at man går […] i de små gatene i omkringliggende områder her, da det er her man finner de lokale, sjarmerende italienske matgrosisstene og råvarene. Hotellet er forøvrig noe slitt. Rommet var ganske lite og hadde en litt merkelig lukt. Spiste ikke frokost på hotellet. Er masse kafeér o.l i umiddelbar nærhet og der får man kjøpt ferske bakevarer og god espresso. Helhetlig er hotellet helt greit om man ikke skal tilbringe mye tid på selve hotellet. Les mer

Hotell som ligger rett over gaten til buss og jernbanestasjonen i Bologna. Arkitektur og shoppinggaten starter på hjørnet av hotellet. Går til sentrum på 15min. utrolig flott å gå gjennom parken fra hotellet til sentrum. Husk siesta-tidene ved måltider på restauranter. I sentrum har de Bolognas skjeve tårn, flott katedral mm. Mye flotte butikker og […] restauranter med levelige priser. Spiste raviolli Bolognes på Ristorante Pappagallo som var fantastisk(dyrt og egentlig ganske stiv bekledning). Les mer

Dette hotellet ligger i den sentrale delen av Bologna, kun få minutter fra togstasjonen og flybussen. Det tar ca. 20 minutter å gå til byens sentrum (Piazza Maggiore) hvor det finnes mange butikker, restauranter og Gelaterio. På hotellet fikk vi en gratis dags billett per person som vi brukte til å se Bologna. Vann i minibaren tilbys fra hotellet som […] ikke er vanlig. Men frokosten kunne vært bedre. Juicene var virkelig dårlige, og det var mange duer på terrassen som gjorde det vanskelig å ha frokost ute på terrasse. Men bortsett fra dette, er det et flott hotell og jeg vil gjerne gå tilbake dit. Les mer

Hotellet ligger sentralt vis a vis jernabanestasjonen og det går shuttlebuss til flyplassen skrått over gaten.

Arriving in Bologna by train, this hotel is the perfect place to stay; five minutes after we got of the train at Bologna Centrale, we were in our room. Located so close to the rail way station, the centre of the city is naturally a bit further away, but the 15 minute walk to the town square was nothing to complain about. The hotel it self had a bit […] of a seventies feel too it, but our room was big and bright (and cool thanks to the air condition) and the bathroom was impressively big. The bed was ok, but the pillow could have been swapped with a brick without me noticing the change. The main street in front of the hotel (and at the entry to the rail way station) is quite heavily trafficked, but staying at the 6th floor, we did not notice this too much. The staff was friendly enough, and the cleaning help did a good job, even if she/he woke us up two of the four mornings we spent at the hotel. The complementary bottles of water in the mini-bar was a nice touch, but the 10 euro breakfast was unfortunately a bit of a disappointment. All in all a very nice hotel, particularly recommended for those travelling by train. Les mer

Perfect location as we were coming to Bologna with train and was taking an early flight the next morning. Excellent comfort!

Litt vanskelig tilgjengelig når du kommer med bil. Litt vrient også å finne parkering rett ved. Ellers bra kvalitet til lav pris. 20 minutter å gå til sentrum av gamlebyen.

Nice hotel and across the road from the central station and short walk to some restaurants. Got uncomfortably warm in the room as the air conditioner could only heat. Apart from that the staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay there again.

Very nice and well situated hotel opposite of train station and just a short walk to the centre. Very good standard and helpful staff at reception. Good breakfast,clean rooms. Hotel well worth its price. Definately recommend it.

We stayed for four nights, arrived by train from Venice, exited train station and crossed the street and checked in. Check in was very easy and quick and to our surprise we were given a complimentary 24 hr. city bus pass. The front desk was very responsive whenever we asked for directions, recommendations for restaurants, etc. The buffet breakfast which […] was included in our rate was very good, it included cereals, yogurts, breads, pastries, fruits, sliced deli meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, and sometimes salad, fruit juices, teas, and a self service espresso, cappuccino machine. Besides being located close to train station, there are bus stops right out the front door, and it is a short pleasant walk about 15 mins. to the center of old town. We took 2 side trips by train to Parma and to Ravenna. This was our first trip to Bologna, we found the people helpful, friendly, not very many tourists, and the food was the best we have had in Italy. Les mer

We stayed at the Mercure Bologna Centro in October, 2011, and found it to be very nice. Across the street from the train station, the hotel is conveniently located for travellers. If you have allergies, you have to be careful as some of the "non-smoking" floors still smell of smoke from the air vents. The room was clean and well equipped. Staff courteous and extremely helpful in directions to sites and recommending great, but fairly priced restaurants. We extended our stay an extra day and all was handled with dispatch.

I had a wonderful time in Bologna. My only two gripes about the hotel are rather minor. One the first room I was given, on a non-smoking floor of the hotel reeked of smoke. It was quickly changed to another room. The other was the recommendation of a restaurant in the gustatory capital of Italy. I hasw recommeded to a resaturant after asking for a good […] to a place that gave me my lasagne 3 minutes after I ordered it! Just a little disappointing. The hotel is in a great location if you are getting the train- literally opposite the station. The room was extremely good value and included free WIFI, free bus tickets and free bottled water. The hotel also has a computer and printer in the lobby that can be used free of charge. The breakfast was good and there is an option of sitting outside which […] is nice. We only stayed here one night, so we could have a proper *taste* of Italy. It was right across the street from the train and bus station which was very convenient, however you had to walk to the center of town. The room was nice, however, they only gave us one towel which we didn't notice until it was too late. Our flight leaving Bologna left early […] in the morning to Sicily and we were in a rush. right opposite bologna centrale railway station and 10 minutes walk to the old city's plaza with statue of neptune. lots of shops and restaurants. taxis easily available. taxi to airport about 18 euros. hotel has very nice and big garden. internet access is complimentary but have to get in 3 hour usage blocks. wifi does not work in rooms but in the […] lobby its ok. rooms and bathroom very small by american standards. no gym/pool but suppsoed to get discounted entrance to a gym nearby. good breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs. One is greeted by an exterior of peeling paint; unfortunate impression as Star Hotel Excellsior is immediately next door and spic and span. so is NH Hotel, a block away. Too frugal with staffing of front desk, which while individually very competent is a single person too often. Very inviting breakfast terrace and a generous offer, but many aggressive […] pigeons and their droppings is a turn off. We just needed a hotel close to the train station but this hotel was much nicer than expected. It is not only a first rate hotel, but it is directly across from the train station.

Location across from Main Train Station not only gave us quick access to airport bus and trains to Parma, but also was hub for local bus lines that got us all over Bologna. Loved our room overlooking quiet garden and high quality linens & towels. The Breakfast Buffet was very good -- the usual eggs, bacon, cold cuts , cereals, etc. were supplemented […] by platters of fresh melon, morning croissants and bakery quality breads & cakes. Front Desk & food service staff were professional and attentive. Only bothersome aspect of our 5 nite stay was that walls and doors between rooms lack sufficient insulation and we had noisy neighbors for couple of nights. Overall, we had excellent experience and felt the Mercure is excellent value for the level of service and location. Les mer

I cannot imagine staying at a more appropriate hotel if you are a tourist. The service is wonderful, it is a beautiful small italian hotel, the roof garden is everything the pictures show. With all this, the location is still the prize. It is impossible to have a better location.

We vbooked online form Lake Como so we had no idea what we were in for, there was something big happening in town so accom was hard to get. our main purpose for Bologna was to visit Ducati. Hotel is right opposite the station which was gr8 as we arrived by train and then pleasantly surprised with what we ended up with seeing it is a busy part of town […] and at first you could easliy think it might not be too good at first glance. But no, we were happy with service, room, rate access and would recomend it. By the way the Ducati factory is only 15 minutes away and 15Eu taxi and really worth the visit! The taxi driver will know where to take you, just say ducati factory sit back and relax, but book the tour online first otherwise you wont get in. Short stop in Bologna during a business trip. Mercure was reasonable value when booked early. As a workable place-to-rest it was very competent although as a romantic city break destination it would lack charm. Noisy at night being opposite the railway station but close the windows and you hear little. Attached (independent) parking okay but with a […] bumper-scraping approach. Leave the Ferrari at home. I found the location of the hotel excellent, directly across from the train station so convenient for Airport Bus. Also the main shopping street was just around the corner from the hotel. The only fault i would find with the hotel was that the room was too warm. On a plus about the room it was quiet.

We stayed just one night on our way to Florence. Hotel is just next the train station, you cannot miss it. Room was clean but not huge. View from the room was poor. Bathroom was OK

I choose this Hotel as it was near the station for my friend to easily find, it was in a good location and my room overlooked the park outside. Although this hotel on a very busy street I never heard the traffic, but the tv was not good 1 english channel unless you wanted to pay 8euro to watch a movie. Great location with friendly staff. Very comfortable beds

Needed a nice place that was not far from the train station. Enjoyed getting up the next day, crossing the street, and getting on the bus to the airport.

This hotel met all of our needs and was a great value.

We were quite pleasantly surprised with the Hotel. The staff at the reception was extremely courteous, spoke both French and English, and were knowledgeable about places to go and see. We had a great rate on our rooms and the kids enjoyed it. Located right in front of the train station was great to go to Venice and other cities.

Trevligt hotell perfekt beläget mitt emot tågstationen coh där flygbussen stannar. Trevlig personl och utmärkt frukostbuffe. Bra säng och rum samt badrum. Fin trädgård på baksidan. Återvänder gärna hit.
