The hotel was super nice, as was the staff. Loved the convienence of being in the Galleria. Just parked the car and forgot it! Would definitely consider staying there again.

I like the location and the hotel in general, but the fragrances and perfumes in the room, the laundry and in the bath products left me smelling like my grandmother. There isn't a need for that in a hotel.

We try to stay at The Westin at most big cities we visit. This was our first stay in Houston. The hotel is attached to the galleria mall so that was cool. The room was great and the staff was wonderful. We ordered room service a few times. Twice they delivered our food with items missing which was kind of unusual because their attention to detail is […] always spot on. But regardless, the food was fantastic so not a big deal for us. They have valet but if you want to save a little money just valet it the first day then park it yourself. I think it's $30 a night and $25 for day. They have a parking garage right next to entrance that has a bunch of parking. Overall fantastic stay! Les mer

It was host hotel for this event, so we stayed there. I had taken my own pillow because I cannot sleep on a normal pillow. Housekeeping took it when they cleaned my room, and it took me 4 separate tries and several hours to get it back.

The room was very large compared to the surrounding hotels ive stayed at before, bed was super comfy, awesome shower heads, and great customer service. Will stay again!

its avery nice hotel for short visit. not worth paying there orignal prices per night but if you can get lower price on average nightly rates then yes its worth staying

Very good quality hotel with fabulous location. The access is a little unusual but the inside of the hotel opens up to the Galleria for great a shopping experience. We were very pleased with how quiet the room was and the view of the skyline from our 22nd floor room.

Comfortable and very convienient! Great staff! Forgot toothbrush and needed more coffee, staff member in hallway had it to us within minutes. Did not get his name, but we stayed on the 11th floor on 12/31/12, rm 1142.. Much appriciated!

Long wait to check in, long wait to check out. Not enough people to take care of those in line! Maybe it's just me but perhaps have signs indicating where the parking is! If you miss it or pass it up, a long around the block trip in heavy traffic awaits you. Very frustrating!!!

This was a good hotel and the location can't be beat! It was fun to just walk directly from the hotel into the Galleria! I think the bedding needs improvement but the staff was very courteous and responsive to our requests. I would stay here again.

The Westin Galleria has an excellent location with easy access to the Galleria Mall. We loved being able to get to the mall from our room without going outside or having to park. Parking at the hotel is not good - we did self parking and the signs are very poor - we had a hard time finding where to park and where to go for the hotel lobby. Overall the hotel is well kept with a very friendly staff that seek to the guest comfort; sadly not every staff member seems to understand that not every guest is in a rush for their lives nor care for the server own rush. Case in point, the Daily Grill staff has some very caring servers and quality of food is pleasing. Notwithstanding the above, to […] me is dreadful, bad taste and totally lacking of common courtesy that while you are eating you are presented with the bill, for Christ sake, is totally bad manners to be enjoying your food and someone handling you the bill because perception is "we need you out of here". On another issue, a concept "Internet quality & routers", most hotels provide free wireless Internet to guest in their rooms; guess SPG has other policy. Is ok to charge for wifi use in each guest bedroom, but at least make sure the $12 a day we pay doesn't crash every 10 minutes Les mer

Don't expect the mini-bar to be stocked unless you pre arrange. Also if you want mail sent to the hotel be prepared to spend at least $5 per package. Other than that the site is excellent for location being hooked directly onto teh Galleria mall.

Great location... Came to Houston for Texans game. Great restaurants, shopping and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Highly recommended!

Although I was in and out for work - the room, hotel, and fitness areas all met needs, and though that sounds simplistic it is rarely accomplished as well.

The hotel was located adjacent to the Galleria, and in the heart of the shopping and dining area of Houston. The front desk, bellmen, etc were all very friendly. Check-in was easy. The room was very confortable, with 4 large pillows on each bed, high quality bedding. The bath was furnished with soaps, shampoo,.... I purchased my hotel with the Westin […] Essential package which included parking (which runs $30 per night). I was disappointed that there was a $12 per day charge for Wi-Fi in the room. We had just stayed at the Westin Galleria Dallas the 3 night prior to arriving at this hotel in Houston. We really enjoyed the Luxury Lounge at the Dallas Westin and were disappointed the Houston Westin didn't have anything comparable. The Houston Westin Valet seemed slower in comparison to Dallas. We did like the fact that Houston had an actual fridge […] instead of a minibar in the room. The hotel felt a little "tired" compared to Dallas. None of these will keep us from staying here again. The room was great, staff friendly and helpfull. Fantastic position being attached to the mall and with heaps of good quality resturaunts a short cab ride away. We'll be back.

The bathroom could use a remodeling, it looks a little dated compared with the rest of the room, but the dual showerheads were superb. The staff was very attentive. A major drawback: the fees the hotel charges for packages delivered to the hotel (I made a few purchases online and had them delivered ot the hotel). THIS WAS MY FISRT TIME @ The Westin Galleria Houston, AND I WAS MORE THAN PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING, THE COMFORT OF THE BED, THE WALK ACROSS TO THE PARK AREA AND THE POOL WAS NICE AND THE FITNESS ROOM WAS WONDERFUL (FOR MY SON), WE BOTH ENJOYED OUR STAY AND WANT TO COME AGAIN! - HEBERTS FROM LOUISIANA!

It was good, refrigerator did not work. You added charges to my credit card and no charges had been made; you said it was customary, so when do I get it back. Doormen will knock you down to get to a person of celebrity status. The hallway on 17th floor looked like a domintory. Oh well, I'll be back.

Hotel parking was a pain. When staying there make sure you park in the brown garage if not using the valet otherwise you'll be moving your car when the galleria closes.
