the people next to me an my wife was up all night. the refrigerator, I had to unplug it to sleep because it was humming all night. just a over all bad hotel.. terrible location. the first floor is very noisey.please dont recommend this hotel to anyone...

The hotel was decently kept; didn't see too much of the neighborhood, so the area seemed safe (except for the graffiti'ed van on the East Lot); room refrigerator hummed unusually loud but we ignored it; pillows were tiny (like other reviews, they were right about them) they were the size of your typical couch throw pillows, the shared plumbing could […] be heard being used from neighboring rooms when people flushed and showered, and then footsteps were heard coming from our ceiling. The only pop machine was downstairs, and then there were no continental breakfast with this stay. For the price, you get a roof over your head; but after one night? def need an upgrade. Les mer

Big room, small bed. Very thin walls, although we've stayed here before and didn't have that problem -- maybe we didn't have neighbors that night. Next door to Dinah's, a good diner, and an excellent taqueria. Across from the Doubletree, which has a great and fun and not too expensive restaurant that has wine flights and small plates.

Very nice room. Staff was friendly. We will stay here again when we come back to Los Angeles

I booked a non-smoking room with hotels.com and got a smoking room. When I called down to the front desl I was told that hotels.com ordered a smoking room for me, but when I saw the check in from the next morning, it said non-smoking. There were no non-smoking rooms and when I checked in and the hotel clearly did not care.

Okay for what it is; don't plan to sleep much - your neighbors are too busy cooking rock.

Great little place to stay. Room nice, near a mall and starbucks, well lite parking area.

The Extended Stay LAX is in a great location and the rates are reasonable. However, the room furnishings are worn and tattered and the hallway carpets have seen (much ) better days. The staff is friendly enough, but some of the hotel policies don't work for me. Ie, guests have to turn in soiled towels to the front desk to exchange for clean ones. My […] mother and I stayed for 5 nights and our bed linens were never changed (per hotel policy). All in all, I think this will be my last time staying at Extended Stay. Les mer

the room smell a little , like old, I advise spraying some aroma before the new person walks in. the from desk, ask me to sign some papers, with out explaining to me what the forms were about, I told the receptionist you should explain to me what I'm signing, she just look down.

If you are not picky Extended Stay is perfect. The per night fee is relatively cheap. The pillows are lack luster but the room was clean and odorless. The hotel serves basic needs of sleep and a place to change. If I was in a financial bind I would stay there again. If you require frequent housekeeping this is not the hotel for you.

Pretty old, and bad conditioned. The staff was not very helpful, but seemed sympathetic to complaints of me and other customers. Still would not recommend this.

the room smells bad, and the beds made noise every time we sat, we turned ..very very bad.....dint get a great sleep....i would not go there again.

Quiet hotel even right off the highway. Parking was easy and no issues checking in or out. Room was clean, beds aren't the best but what do you expect for the price. Would definitely stay there again.

The traffic noise is so loud you would think I had Windows open...writing this at 4am. Haven't gotten more than an hour of sleep and not happy

Aside from being placed in a smoking room (still upset about this), it was an okay stay.

we were on a non-smoking floor but room and the entire floor smelt like cigerate smoke! it was not good. The beds were not the most comfortable either. For the price we paid we could of stayed at a nicer place, with more comfortable beds, and rooms that didn't stink of smoke.

No exhaust fan in bathroom made our stay uncomfortable, but other than that a nice place to stay for a night.

All I really needed was an affordable room near the Courtyard Marriot, where I was attending a class. Extended Stay was just that. The room was perfectly acceptable, and had a little kitchenette, with full-size fridge, microwave, sink, etc. I suppose this is for people who actually do extended stays. It seems the hotel is primary intended for those […] longer stays, since housekeeping only happens if you stay 6 or more days and there is no shampoo etc in the bathrooms. (There was soap.) The hallways had a bit of an odd smell -- somewhere between nursing home and two day old curry. But quite frankly that didn't bother me, since I was happy about this hotel being a more affordable option than actually staying at the Courtyard Marriot. Overall, I am happy to recommend this hotel to people who are not too picky or high maintenance and interested in a good price. If you're sensitive to smells, need new towels and toiletries in your bathroom every day, or want to be in a charming neighborhood I would look somewhere else. Les mer

They do not haanything extra, even pillows. We were given really bad pillows and no exchanges. I had to wait for 30-45 mins to get towels exchanged. They had No Salt. Bathroom exhaust would not work and it is very important for pushing out the bathroom air. Bathroom door lock did not work. A/C did not work. They fixed it in a day but that doesnt help […] much when u are staying only for couple of days. Les mer

This hotel charged us our hotel stay knowing we had already paid through hotels.com. Now we are battling to get our money back because of their incompetence.

Good access to the 405 and I-10 highways. Westfield Mall and Hughs Centers close proximity to the hotel.

This hotel is supposed to offer you a kitchen with plates, forks, spoons for 2 persons. It ends up that several kitchen utensils where missing. Appliances were also not functioning. On the bathroom, there was no shampoo. Service in general is poor.

For the price, it was ok. If you are planning on staying here for just a day I think you can go to a cheaper place. If you are planning on staying for a week this place would be a great place because there's a kitchen in the suite with a big refrigerator. Also it was weird that they didn't have a blow dryer in the suite. The check in area is quite small […] and I didn't like the fact that we weren't able to check in just an hour early. We had to leave and come back exactly at 3pm to find there was a long line and just one person working the front desk. The walls to the hotel is really really thin. I could hear people taking a shower, washing dishes, kids running around on the level above our suite and in the hallways. So, if you can't sleep with noise I recommend you not to stay here. With the bathroom, it was really simple, just towels and a bar of soap. Les mer

Definitely for the pricve it was worth it. Only a couple degraded items of interest are unless you'r staying a week at a hotel like this you have to wash your own towels and such. They had pay washers and dryers on site but spendy. We stayed in a (2) double bed room for 4 people. They had dishes and utensils for the kitchenette, but for only 2 people. […] The side door's key card entry did not work so unless you propped the door open in the event of coming and going taking stuff in/out of your room, then you had to walk around through the main entrance. Not a short walk though. The hotel is really close to a nice little shopping mall, Dinah's restaraunt right next door along with a mexican shop and doughnut shop. Les mer

Overall, a decent place to stay for the price I paid. I wanted a cheap place to stay close to Santa Monica and it is conveniently located near I-405. The neighborhood is pretty safe, and overall, it was a good stay. The hallways smell a little bit, but that's a minor gripe. As with ESA hotels, there is no room service for short stays, you must check […] in before 11pm, and there is a charge for internet access (though $5 for the whole stay is not bad), but I had no problems with that for my stay. Vi bodde här 6 nätter, och hade innan läst alla komentarer till detta hotell så vi hade inte jätte höga förväntningar. Men väl där så var allt toppen, bra kök, rent och fräscht rum i allmänhet. Bra med parkering, internet för endast 30 spänn för hela vistelsen. Ungefär lika långt överallt o ta sej, med bil. Vi rekomenderar detta, rent och fräscht och […] levde upptill våra förväntningar. si vous voulez passer vos journees a l'hotel alors que vous etes a Los Angeles, alors n'y allez pas! par contre si vous passez vos journees dehors a visiter ou aller a la plage c'est amplement suffisant pour se preparer ses repas et dormir confortablement sans TROP depenser!!!
