Kort vei til/fra O'Hare int. flyplass. Utenfor Chicago sentrum, så enkelt å komme seg videre uten å havne i tung trafikk. Koselige og høflige ansatte og Legends sportsbar inkorporert i lobby området for å innta middag og drinker til normal pris. Store og fine rom; litt slitte, men rene. Frokosten var langt over middels med utvidet continental frokost. Fitnessrommet var veldig enkelt, men fikk trent basis. Nabolaget er noe slitent forstads- men virket greit.

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og for å få sett Chicago. Personalet der var superhyggelige, og rommene var helt nyoppusset. Vi hadde rom med parkering, og dette fungerte svært bra. Vi slet med å finne hotellet ut fra GPS, og når vi sjekket inn fikk vi høre at dette var et problem for mange av hotellets gjester (TIPS: Når GPS sier at du har kommet til oppgitt adresse, men du ikke ser hotellet, kjør da rett frem gjennom første lyskryss, så vil du se hotellet et lite stykke etter lyskrysset). Vi anbefaler gjerne dette hotellet for andre!

Hotell valt i utg.pkt pga nær O'Hare-flyplassen. Svært praktisk, to stoppestader frå flyplassen med t-banen (Cumberland). I tillegg lett, rimeleg og kjapt å koma seg med 'blue line' til sentrum av Chicago på same banen. Middels pluss service i skranken på hotellet. Frukost visstnok berre svært lettvint, med 'småkaker' eller liknande. Nytta ikkje dette tilbodet sjølv. Ok reinhald på romma. Var på to forskjellige under opphaldet mitt. Restaurant næraste nabo på eine sida av hotellet, også parkeringsplass knytt til denne, utan at eg fann dette sjenerande. 7 minutts spasertur tek deg til diger supermarknad, der du finn alt du måtte trenga. Også andre småsjapper og ein frisør. 5 minutt til fots til t-banestasjonen. Motorvegen like ved og tidvis flytrafikk over, men gjorde ingenting av betydning. Godt støyisolert.

I was only here two nights, but I appreciated having the kitchen and refrigerator. The room was spacious and clean, although the bed was a little stiff for my taste. Google Maps brought me in the "back way" so I had trouble finding it at first, since the main sign is at the other entrance. we stayed here on new years eve, for one night, and loved it. it's a great room, with a kitchen, big bathroom, lots of space, is not bad for the price. id recommend it for long stays

Inconvenient location but over all great experience. They have FREE DVD's you can watch and take as many as you would like. This hotel is great! The suite I was in had it's own kitchen. (Refrigerator, stove, utensils.) It was a decent size, very clean, and very friendly. The location was awesome as well. We where in the middle of everything and within walking distance of many other places. There is no pool, but there is a business center, and a grilling area outside. I really […] recommend this hotel, and I do plan on going back as well. I intended to stay 2 nights after being there half and hour I chose to stay and extra night. The rates are a little strange, it's cheaper on the weekends, rather than the week. The only real complaint I had was our bed was a queen, but it most certainly didn't seem like a queen. It was a little bigger than a full but just didn't feel like a queen. The bed itself was really soft, so it's not like the bed was totally horrible, just smaller than I thought. "Candlwood Suites~A Great Place To Stay!"
My husband and I went for a weekend in Chicago, and stayed in Schaumburg for a night to go Medieval Times. We checked in after battling traffic for over two hours, and was just happy to have friendly front desk staff who made check in quick and easy. Our room was clean and cool, with an oven, popcorn in the microwave ready to pop we wanted it, and a […] small fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were nice *the little things make all the difference*. They had free DVD's at the front desk to check out if we wanted, which was a nice touch. We forgot a razor, and they have a little table with toiletries set up and most everything was a buck...they also had snacks and cans of pop for purchase...all very inexpensive. They had washer and dryers that were clean that you could use for free...which was a nice amenity! I worked out on the treadmill in their fitness center *which i admit could use a bit of an update* while our clothes dried. We would DEFINITELY stay here again, and will seek out this chain when we go other places. Les mer
The hotel is set up for longer stays, with a kitchenette in each room and a grill/picnic area out front. It's pretty clean, but the decor is outdated and obviously a bit old. The front desk staff are never at the desk, so you need to ring for them. There is no sign if you are coming at the hotel from the most obvious route, which makes it difficult […] to find. I had a terrible time, very bad room. I reserved s non-smoking room psid for it snd was given a smoking room got sick. I have bronchitis and the room made me sick could not sleep. Need for a manager to call me from Hotels.com or Candlewood in Schaumburg, IL

This was a great stay for me. Very nice staff and I loved the free washer and dryer. I will always try to stay at Candlewood Suites for all my trips from now on. I was impressed with the room, bed and kitchen, it was all that I needed for my 4 days here. The location was great and it was close to the mall and grocery store.

Staff, service, and hotel were great - just keep in mind the location. it's about a 40-45 minute drive to downtown Chicago without traffic. With traffic it took us about 90 minutes to our destination, however that was on a Friday. Weekend traffic is much lighter. "Wonderful Get Away for the money"
My companion and I had so much fun. We hope to return soon. The mattress was so comfortable. The washing machine and dryer were free! There is a reasonably priced convenience store in the building. The decor was very tasteful.
"Not what I thought for Suites"
They only come clean your room if you are going to stay 7 days. Gross. They dont offer double bed rooms and they dont have shampoo or cond in bathrooms. There wasnt even enough toilet paper in the room. Not a good stay.

HOTEL WAS NICE BUT THE FACT THAT THE SHUTTLE DOES NOT GO ANYWHERE BUT TO WORK FACILITIES AND BACK HAD ME A LIL UPSET BECAUSE I HAD TO CATCH A CAB TO THE MALL AND EATING FACILITIES...OTHER THAN THAT THE HOTEL IS PERFECT ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A CAR...OH AND YEAH I WAS THERE A WEEK AND NOT ONCE DID I GET MAID SERVICE TO CHANGE MY BEDDING..

I am so pleased with Candlewood Suites that I've added them to my list of favorite hotels. The location is less than 5 mins from my job (which was the purpose of my stay), it's less than 5 minutes from the Woodfield Mall & Streets of Woodfield area; Laundy is complimentary! The Cupboard is a nice perk, to have....& my room....WOOOOW! Really exceeded […] my expectations. I'm considering doing a Long Term Stay during my relocation. The room was much nicer than we expected! The kitchen was very handy. Check in & out was a breeze and the desk girl was very nice. Great hotel for the price. Highly recommended!
"Wonderful Surprise"
The hotel turned out to be a wonderful surprise! The photos online doesnt do the hotel justice at all. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was nice and big. With all of the shopping nearby I would recommend them hands down!
"Alloted Smoking when requested non-smoking"
I have reserved a non-smoking room when I booked the room. When I checked in, the front desk clark was not helpful and she said they only have smoking room. I indicated that I have booked a non-smoking room and she said "thats all they have". She said they can spray perfume and you will be able to sleep. I had a hard time staying at this "smoking room". This Hotel was very nice, clean and well maintained. You wont go wrong staying here especially for the low price. The only downside is they dont have a swimming pool but other than that it was a nice comfortable stay .

This place was way better than i expected. The room was very nice and super clean. The kitchenette was nice and the bed was very soft and comfortable. This hotel was way better than i expected. I paided fifty bucks for the room and i didnt expect the room to be as great as it was. When i first opened the door the room was very clean the bed was SUPER SOFT and the kitchette was awesome. Me and my family will be back again and again to stay at this hotel .

"They Do Not Go The Extra Miles That Others Have Easily"
The front staff was impersonal, and the thing I hated most is that most Schaumburg Hotels are great because if you are getting away for a mini excursion then the parking is usaully free but there are so many who offer shuttle service to and from the huge woodfield mall now the candlewood has these little cups to put marbles in for they like to be the […] best at service but the shuttle will only service you going to and from work which sucks because its a long walk with a lot of bags or extreme weather as Chicago is known for and they gave no reason why they stopped going to the mall, I was told after reservation they just stopped and there was no reason why they offer less and rates are still the same!!!
