Hotellet anbefales pga god beliggenhet i sentrale og rolig omgivelser. Det er rent og pent, men minus for manglende varmt vann i dusjen og minus for en skranglete heis.

Ett hotell sentralt men likevell passe rolig. Lite støy og bråk. Ikke akkurat noe lixushotell, men ett hotell med grei standard og kvalitet. Har bodd der flere ganger over 4 år, og det gode servicenivået er der forsatt. Anbefales!

Lowest value for money ever in london at 4* hotel. Booked single room with double bed. Smallest rom ever seen at any travel for 4*. No space at all except bed ( which was like 1,25 single bed size ) and bath. Asked urgently for other room with breathing space. Got "Club room" the next days for the remaining 3 days for extra charge. Not impressive, more like standard room at 4*. had much better VFM other times in London. Instruction for use of safe was completely wrong. Told staff about this, and they managed to say that the user's manual was correct, even if if I could prove it was wrong!! Very arrogant and rude staffmember. Maybe his english language was the problem? Anyway, made the safe work by other procedure than the instruction. I think Leonard Cohen wrote "Paper Thin Hotel" in this hotel. Every word, every footstep could be heard from the hallway. Absolutely no privacy when comes to watching TV, talking on cell. phone, etc. Anything good about the hotel? Well, nice location and good TV/interactive menu. Will never use this hotel again.

Et hyggelig lite hotell i nærheten av Paddington station. Jeg og samboeren fikk et hyggelig club room i 5 etg med skråtak og et lite vindu. Vi var der når hetebølgen var på sitt verste og det var opp mot 32varmegrader. Ingen aircondition på rommet, men derimot en vifte som hvertfall gjorde at man fikk sove. Ettersom viften bråkte endel, merket vi ikke noe til lyder fra naborom eller heis i gangen og det var kanskje liksågreit. Badet var helt greit, men toalettet tålte ikke mer enn en nedspyling, og så måtte man vente en GOD stund før neste mann kunne spyle ned...tok også litt tid før trykket i dusjen satte inn. Badet generelt opplevdes som litt fuktig. De vi reiste sammen med var ikke like heldige som oss, og fikk først et dobbeltrom i 1.etg hvor toaletten var tett for deretter å få et rom i 1.etg med to enkeltsenger som hadde vindu ut mot en korridor....det ble ikke mye frisk luft der for å si det sånn... Gratis internett ved resepsjonen og hyggelig betjening. Frokosten prøvde vi aldri ettersom vi gikk på flere av de små kafeene i nærheten og spiste god og billig frokost der. Ellers var det en liten hyggelig "park" rett på utsiden av hotellet og området opplevdes som rent, ryddig og trygt. Ville kanskje ikke ha betalt fullpris for dette hotellet med forventning om at det kvalifiserer til 4.stjerners, men helt ok hotell med god beliggeenhet hvis man får det til en rimeligere penge !

Sentralt, rent og helt greit hotell i London

Hotellet var bra. Det var nok bortimot det minste hotelrommet vi noen gang har sett, men det fungerte for oss. Det eneste problemet var sengen. Den var så smal at vi, to voksne mennesker slet virkelig med å få en god natts søvn. Sengen hadde vært grei for en person men det var absolutt ikke en dobbelseng. Hotelet tilbyr frokost, men denne er serdeles overpriset. Du får samme frokosten for 7 pund mindre på kafeen rundt hjørnet.

Vi hadde bestilt ett dobbelt rom med dobbelt seg, men vi ble stuet inn på ett enkelt rom. Vi kunne ikke passere hverandre ved sengen samtidig for det var det ikke plass til. Gikk i resepsjonen og sa ifra og fikk beskjed om at det ikke fantes enkeltrom på dette hotellet, men når senge gavel og alt tilsier at det er ett enkelt rom og vi har bodd såpass på hotell både på enkeltrom, dobbeltrom og suite så syns jeg dette var dårlig. Renhold var så som så, badet var ikke særlig apetitelig og det satt fast døde fluer på vinduet. Badet hadde helt grei str og standard. Vi fikk dusj såpe siste dagen, men ikke de 4 første. Anbefalles IKKE. Besøk heller Quality Crown Paddington, koster litt mer, men standard og service er på et helt annet nivå!!

Very nice and clean room. Not the largest hotel room I've stayed in, but very comfortable and pleasant. Staff was very helpful and service minded. Highly recommended hotel, located a few minutes walk from Paddington underground station.

Hotellet hadde flott beliggenhet, nær butikker og restauranter og lett adkomst til undergrunnen for rask reise til alle severdigheter. Trange rom og en dusj høyt opp på veggen som ikke kunne tas ned for håndbruk. Derfor skittent badekar med forheng som sto fast til kroppen...Dårlig ventilasjon, konstant fuktig bad. Men den suverene beliggenheten veier opp for noe av dette... Ok service på hotellet, men ikke noe mer....

Praktisk ift avstand fra Paddington stasjon - 300 m å gå. Ligger i en tilbaketrukket gate. Fine rom - vi var 1 voksen og 2 barn. Rent og hyggelig. Kommer tilbake dersom jeg skal til London.

This hotel is one of many, many converted private homes near Paddington Station. Most are cheap and "are rubbish" (in the words of the woman who rescued us by recommending a nearby wonderful, albeit more expensive hotel called The Commodore.) The Quality was no exception. The elevator stopped working while we were there, apparently a recurrent problem, and was not fixed for over one hour. One group of tourists were waiting in the lobby for an hour to speak to the manager about some problem and were very upset. Another woman checking in complained that her room was dirty and the fan didn't work (even though the hotel is advertized as air conditioned, which is wasn't.) We had to walk up five flights of stairs to get to our room (someone did come to carry up the luggage.) The room was tiny, not particularly clean and had a smell of sewerage. The televison didn't work. The poor young woman at the desk who was the only employee in the place for most of the two hours we were there did the best she could in an impossible situation with so many people complaining but began to look frantic until another fellow showed up from the nearby sister hotel. He also tried to be helpful and was apologetic but unfortunately this didn't compensate for the awfulness of the place. This is a one to two star hotel at best, its only advantage being that it is within walking distance of Paddington.

When I arrived at my room I was nicely surprised to see a label on the door that said, Club Room'. Everywhere else I have stayed, this means a little bigger room, better facilities and overall more inline for a business traveller. What I found was a 3/4 size double bed pushed into a corner of he room, just leaving enough room to walk past it to get to the fan in the room, because the room obviously suffered from overheating. I could touch both walls at the same time and thus most disappointing

I loved the hotel in all, location ,cleanliness, staff bar, room was all perfect for us. Rooms are not huge huge rooms but then if it a short stay why would you complain you are there to shower and sleeo who cares for the size?? beats me! staff speak excellent english and check in an out process very ealisy done. WILL STAY AGAIN

The room is small but the bed (double twin) is ok for one person. The bed is comfortable. The curtain is long and blocks all lights, which not all hotel can do. The worst thing is the water flow, which is extremely slow. A four star hotel at this price could have been much better.

We had 3 of us staying in this room and it wasn't too small as you would expect for a hotel in Europe. It was clean and not in a noisy area. The front desk personel was exceptionally polite and helpful.

The room is clean and a decent size and has all the amenities you need, hair dryer, iron, etc. However the beds are not very comfortable and there are no luxuries. It was decently priced though and in a really excellent location. It is an easy walk to Hyde Park and Paddington station.

What was advertised to be a "double" was a double bed stuffed into a single bed space. The room was recently updated and modern but it was just too small to open a suitcase or turn around in. You had to sit in the bathroom to read a book.

The hotel is very clean, modern and secure. Great neighborhood with easy access to the underground and Paddington Station for the Healthrow Express. The rooms are very tiny with a double providing very close quarters. There was a very good effort to provide storage.

The hotel is excellently located near Paddington Station, very convenient to the Heathrow Express. It's on a square that is (probably) normally quiet, but construction was going on. It's not a beautiful square, due to a large portion being occupied by a concrete bunker-like hall for a local college. The staff is mostly pretty friendly. The breakfast is very good, although not included in some rates. The room rate (for London) was pretty reasonable. Second The Bad: And the reason I would not recommend this hotel. Our bathroom radiator heated just fine, but when the steam stopped, it started clanking with the most horrific noise I have ever heard come from a heating device. The unhelpful staff claimed that that's just how the radiator is, and nothing could be done about it. I have encountered many radiators, and none of them made this kind of noise. We arrived after midnight the first night, turned on the radiator, and were rudely awakened by it some half hour later. Also, the TV didn't work, and it took several requests to get it fixed. Last The Mediocre: The staff, while not unfriendly, is mostly unhelpful (see "The Bad"). The hotel is surprisingly noisy for being on a square, and not only from the ill-mannered radiator. There's also noise I couldn't identify, but I think came from the kitchen refrigerator compressor. Rooms not situated on the same air shaft may be quieter. The rooms are quite small, but not unusually small for London, but do have very good hair dryers and coffee/tea makers. Summary: There are better places to stay near Paddington.

Superb hotel. The staff is courteous and helpful. The hotel was very convenient to the underground stations in London. We would gladly recommend the Quality Crown Hotel Hyde Park to our friends.

The hotel itself is quaint. However, the rooms are smaller than college dorm rooms. There too small for one person. The hotel staff was not very friendly or helpful. The hotel, however, is conveniently located one block away from Paddington Station and has several fast food eateries such as Burger King, McDonald's, and Subway. There are other places to eat as well.

The staff was mostly friendly if not really sure about their surroundings and the room was a bit on the tiny side but if you don't plan on spending a bunch of time in the hotel it will suit you just fine

Hotel was nice and clean. Close to Paddington station, Hyde Park, great Underground access. Satisfactory value given the price.

Hotel is walking distance to Paddington Train station which is where you catch the Heathrow Express to Heathrow. Also it is near the Underground which gives you access to Central London.

This hotel was perfect, especially for the prices in London. I loved the location and I would highly recommend this hotel for any future guests.

If you plan on booking a stay here make sure you know what room you are getting before arriving. I made a reservation for two people and got a room that was situated for only one person to freely move at any given time. The room upon entering looked more like a cabin on a small ship rather than delux accommodations. There were larger rooms available but you must specify what you are looking for ahead of time. Now if you like hot showers, as most of us do, you would be wise to check the status of the plumbing upon entering your room. Surprise cold showers with low water pressure are never a fun way to start your holiday. Also if you book and choose to get continental or full breakfast make sure you bring proof that your booking included that. Without it you will be headed to the nearest cafe for your morning meal. No proof, no food for you. One more thing to keep in mind...ask them if construction is going on in or around the area. I dont mind waking up early but never to the sounds of a jackhammer at 7:30 AM. As far as location goes this area fit the bill. You are a 5 min walk to the Paddington tube and/or main train station. There are a ton of inexpensive cafes nearby. This is an area that has a wide variety of hotels so even if you dont choose this one you can find many more in the same area that may fit your needs better. Enjoy your holiday!

Location was great, all attractions easily accessible using the underground. Staff was helpful, but the room assigned to us was very small and had no window.

We went to London expecting small rooms with less than perfect plumbing so it was no surprise that our first room was small. We were 3 adults and were given a room with a double bed and a roll away. Luckily we were prepared for the lack of space. We left for a week in Paris and returned to get a larger room in the basement area. It was much roomier with 3 single beds and a larger bathroom. We found it a bit noisier than our first room, but given the choice between space and a little noise, we chose space. We were out every morning and came in at night to find our beds turned down. They have a restaurant that serves breakfast, but you get a better deal if you eat at one of the many eateries in the area. Just about a block and a half from Paddington Station, getting around London was really easy. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more accomodating. We were treated very well by the entire staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a moderately priced hotel in a great part of London!

This hotel has some potential, but the first room they gave us was awful and tiny, the second room they gave us we could not stay in since there was contruction going on right outside our window, so we could not sleep, the third room they gave us was a nice room but, the phone did not work, and no one on staff knew how to work it. They kept sending people that did not know how to work the phone to fix it the phone (such as the bartender, and the painter), also even though we had hot water in the sink, but the shower was cold. The maid staff does not know what the "Do Not Disturb" sign means - we were distrupted 3 times on one morning, twice by the maid and once by the bartender looking to retrieve a knife we had used the day before. I can not imagine they only had one knife in the entire hotel, so they had to knock on the door with the "Do Not Disturb" sign on it. The staff was all very nice and friendly except for one girl, I think her name was Margaret. Trying to resolve any issues with her was an excerise in patience. She did not listen to what any of the problems were so she was not able to address them, she seemed to think she knew without my explanations, as a result, I quickly figured out I needed to wait until Jo Anne or Pratup came on duty - they were great. Once they get all the bugs worked out this maybe an OK place to stay, but request room 607, and wait until all the bugs have been worked thru.

Room was incredibly small considering we had not chosen the cheapest room available. Staff were not particularly friendly/helpful.

The Good: The hotel is convienently located in the heart of the Paddington hotel strip just off Sussex Gardens. Both Paddington and Lancaster gate tube stations are less the a 5 minnute walk. So you can take the Heathrow Express from the airport and walk there from the station. The place has obviously undergone a pretty nice makeover and the finishes arent bad. Has a nice bar, but really small. neighborhood and surrounding area is good. 4 minute walk down Sussex to Hyde Park's Lancaster Gate entrance which is pretty sweet. The bad: Interent is not normally included with room cost so make sure you get that included as part of the booking (I had to ask for it). The maid staff either dosent speak much english or doesnt know how to read a "Do Not Disturb" sign. If you sign up for an "Executive Suite" that mean it's going to be small. Really small. Like, I've been to London many times and this room is Really Really small. No air-conditioning, but we were there in early March so it didnt really matter. All in all I think it wouldve been worth the extra money to stay at Quality Crown Paddington instead if we hadnt been there for more than 2 weeks. It seems far more comfortable.

Great location for business or to be in place for travel from Paddington Station. My room was very small, but clean. Noisy due to construction next door. Staff was courteous and helpful. Not special, but for London, a decent value for money

Our room was clean but it was very small and very drafty. It took about 10 minutes to get hot water going in the shower and sink. There was construction going on in the building directly across from our window so jackhammers, drills, buzzing, and banging started at 8:00 each morning. If a peson needs to get up for work that would be fine but sleeping in to make up for any jet lag was impossible. The location of the hotel is somewhat off the beaten trail (not in the heart of "the city")but it is close to Paddington Station which made taking The Underground to desired locations easy.

Good value. Great location if want to be near Paddington Station - easy walk (although seems longer if you have much luggage). Several food options in area. Clean hotel, nice bathroom, small room - typical of London. Nice TV. Fine, polite service, although didn't ask for much or look for much interaction. Only somewhat annoying thing was the internet connection cord isn't long, so have to sit on little stool at counter in room, rather than getting comfortable with laptop on bed. But not a big deal.

Great value for the money, and excellent location. A small hotel, it is within easy walk of both Lancaster Gate tube station and Paddington Station. Many moderately priced places to eat close by. Not a luxurious hotel, but friendly staff, clean, and comfortable. Will stay here again.
