Genrelt meget godt fornøyd med hotellet, både hva gjelder standard, service, beliggenhet og frokost

Et av Wiens beste hoteller og jeg har bodd på et par. Rommet var stort og staselig. Badet var også kjempeflott. Eneste jeg har å utsette er at prisen for frokost er litt for masse selv om den også er og smakte fantastisk

Grand Hotel, Wien er et meget bra og sentralt beliggende hotel som fortjener sine 5 stjerner. Kort vei til operaen og Musikverein og i gådistanse fra Stephansdom, Belvedere, Albertine-museet etc. Kan absolutt anbefales, også pga. moderat pris.

Elegant, polished and with a staff eager to be of help, the Grand Hotel oozes all the best that Vienna has to offer. If you want to experience what Vienna was like at it's decadent best, The Grand is the place to go. In addition it's location is ideal as most of Vienna's highlights are within walking distance.

This is a beautiful hotel, very elegant in the heart of the city, staff were very helpful but I did find the internet very frustrating. Restaurants within the hotel had nice food at reasonable pricing

Couldnt fault it!!! Enough english from the service to make up for my non existent german...beautiful building, location was so close to the main central sites and easily accessible from the obb (underground) room was high class...if u can get it on a deal this will become a feature of your holiday. Never stayed in a hotel at the equivalent rate (nearly […] 400 euros) to compare but for the half of that rate (ish) i paid, this was one of the best hotels I have stayed in... Les mer

Bed only Queen size, requested King, and 2 single duvets, can only sleep under a double. But had booked a table in the Grand for Christmas Eve, confirmed by email, arrived at restaurant to be told we had no reservation. The ultimate KILLER, every top restaurant now closed. Zero points. Fortunately given table, the food was exquisite Mostly fine, but […] as non smoker, the smell of cigars in the foyer was beyond disgusting. And the telephones in the room glow in the dark. Concierge needs to go to charm school (my wife is fluent in German) told us no need to book a table on Christmas day, arrived a restaurant to be asked 'had we booked'. The rooms and hallways of this hotel are maintained in excellent condition and we were very satisfied. Thankful for the free Wi-Fi, wonderful hotel personal bath amenities and the excellent location in the heart of restaurants, theatres and shopping.

The hotel was perfectly located to see all of the major sights. We were only in Vienna for two nights and the hotel provided us with great advice for things to do to get a real feel for the City. Enjoyed dinner at the Grand Cafe and then two excellent breakfasts. Also attended a Concert and toured the Bellevedere Museum. Enjoyed afternoon coffee and […] cake at a cafe. We travelled with with our toddler to Vienna and we have chosen to stay at the Grand hotel as it was recommended by our family and friends. The room was spacious, clean also we've got the free upgrade to a large suite which was wonderful. However we never get the turn down service. We also chosen non smoking area but the hall way always full of cigarette […] smells!!! Les mer

From our arrival to departure, service was faultless. The ambience at the front of the hotel (the jazz pianist in the lobby bar was very pleasing) and lobby bar was a feature, encouraging drinks there on a couple of evenings before we ventured out. With multiple good restaurants close handy and a supermarket full of fresh produce downstairs there really […] is no need to call for room service, no matter how exhausted a traveller might feel on arrival. The bed, bath, room privacy, and service were all from the top bracket, and even check-out and airport transfers were made easy by hotel staff. With its location close to the opera, museums, Stephansdom, the Imperial Palace, malls and markets; this is a highly advantageous location from which to explore Vienna. Les mer

The hotel was a marvelous place to stay if you feel like being spoilt. The rooms were nice and large as we're the bathrooms. The only issue I had was with the air conditioner. It had issues switching on and off which was a little noisy. But that won't stop me from coming again.

The hotel is everything you would expect from a full service 5 star hotel. The people were always available and universally helpful. If you are arts oriented, the hotel is located within walking distance of everything you would be headed to Vienna to see, and a very short subway jump from anything else.

One of the best hotels we stayed in on this trip, and located just around the corner from Vienna's main shopping mall. A very luxurious and well appointed hotel. Only negative was that they didn't offer a package that included breakfast (but then none of the other Vienna hotels seemed to either).

Great hotel. Excellent concierge. Great location and service. Very clean. Easy access to trams and metro, Stephensplatz, and Karlsplatz. Supermarket within steps.

Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Rooms were lovely and my father was upgraded to a lovely suite. Nice bar and terrace . Very luxurious. The only negative was that some of the extras - wifi, mini bar, breakfast were quite pricey.

... in every way possible. Great sleep- quiet room, separate duvets, perfect bed and pillows. All details attended to with staff and decor. Only heads up- big step into the tub/shower in our room, may be an issue for anyone with agility or balance problems. Concierge fantastic, we dealt with Walid and Marcus.

We only stayed one night, but we were very happy with the hotel. It is smart, comfortable and the staff on reception and at the concierge desk are very helpful and professional. The hotel is in a very convenient position and we really couldn't find any fault with it.

The hotel was all we could have hoped for - gorgeous and with perfect service. Couldn't have asked for more. Everything we requested was forthcoming and on the minute. Hope we'll hve an opportunity to return again soon.

On a sub-zero day we arrived in Vienna to find our room had the air conditioning on! Other than that and the cleaner lady arriving twice daily (!) to spruce the room up, something we found a tad much, the Grand Hotel Wien is a wonderful, wonderful place to stay in that most wonderful of central European capitols. It is a magnificent building and the […] food was terrific and the bars seemed atmospheric and as it was January it was ball season and all the locals in their finery were gathering in the lobby for a drink at the bar before going to the big dance. It made for a fantastic sight and reminded me how, even in evening wear, we were not nearly so formal as these locals. Les mer

Went for the Christmas markets. Excellent hotel in a very good location - close to stations and very convenient for walking to all the central attractions. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, very comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

Loved every aspect of this hotel *except* the bar on the mezzanine, which was smoke-filled. But everything else - from our room to the scent in the hallways - was wonderful. The room was extremely comfortable - not even a suite, just a really big room, with comfy bed and chairs, and *FREE* internet. Bathroom sumptuous - marble *everywhere* and floor […] in water closet *heated*. Prime location - i was worried that it wasn't in the Stefansplatz area, but once we got there, we realized it was even more central to everything we wanted - near all the prime music and museum locations (Opera, Musikverein, Kunsthistoriches museum) *and* was only about 10 mins - max - from Stefansplatz. The Grand Hotel Wien is beautiful. It's in a great location - very convenient for walking, trains, or renting a city bike. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was large, love the towel warmer. Big plus is free wifi! Too many European hotels charge ridiculous amounts for wifi. Staff was very friendly and helpful with sightseeing tips. Didn't […] eat at the restaurants so can't comment on them. There are too many close cafes - the weather was beautiful and we ate outside every day. Les mer

Vienna was amazing and the location of the hotel was perfect. However this hotel is meant for stuffy business people and not for a family on vacation hoping to see the city. Antiquated dress codes, unhelpful staff. Very disappointed. Of the 9 hotels we stayed in on our 3 week drive around Europe this was the worst.
