Greit hotell hvis ditt eneste formål med det er å sove. Ville kanskje ikke ha reist hit på familieferie, men for en guttetur til statene er dette helt greit. Trivelig betjening og TV med uttallige amerikanske kanaler, samt noen meksikanske. I tillegg var det bussavganger rett utenfor døren og et boblebad som virkelig kommer til sin rett etter lange, solfylte dager i vestkystens kosligte by. Frokosten var ikke all verden, men man finner blant annet frokostrestauranten Denny's 100 meter unna. Alt i alt fornøyd!

Dette hotellet er på alle måter fantastisk, rommet vårt var gigantisk og servicen upåklagelig, men det koster å bo her. For eksempel legges det automatisk til 22 prosent tips til alle room service-ordre, dette i tillegg til det de tar ekstra for å levere maten. Det andre som gjør det dyrt å bo her, er at hotellet ligger så avsides til at du må belage deg på å kjøpe og spise alt du trenger, på hotellet. Et tips er derfor å ta med seg snacks og drikke fra nærmeste kolonial for å slippe å bli ruinert i minibaren.

Supert hotell med flotte rom. Vi kunne ønsket oss at det lå litt nærmere selve Santa Barbara, men vi fikk utrolig mye for pengene, så alt i alt er vi veldig fornøyd!

I have already recommended this hotel to a friend who has made her reservatiosn already. Lovely older hotel, but wonderfully maintained in downtown--close toall the great shops and restaturants and and an easy walk to the beach. I woudl definitely go back.

Unfortunately when I attempted to check in the power had completely gone out. I was unable to check in or stay at the hotel but the customer service I received at the front desk was unacceptable. The gentleman behind tne counter was rude (I understand the power being out is something they cant control but that is no excuse for poor customer service) […] I personally wrote a letter & sent an email to the Hotel Manager but never received an apology or response. Hotel couldve waive parking charges since when we asked valet parking attendant whether we should pay to him or to the receptionist, replied that it doesn't matter, so we pay him. At the check out we've explain the cituation to the clerk, but he said the hotel still have to charge us for the overnight parking. So we've got charged twice. Not a nice […] business practice. Hotel Santa Barbara is located right on State Street. Tons of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Staff have always been very helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice and rates were reasonable.

Love the location and it's a great old hotel.
Very nice hotel overall. Our room was a little on the small side, so much so, that the door to the bathroom was a pocket door. I don't think that they would have been able to put in a standard door if they wanted to. The neighborhood was nice to walk around during the day. Once night hits, it turns into a giant college club scene. We were even fortunate […] enough to witness three bouncers at the bar next door carry a patron outside and lovingly deposit him into the foliage outside. Les mer

"great location - historic hotel!"
This is the perfect place to stay in SB if you enjoy historical lodging - i.e., rooms are small. We loved it!! Able to walk to the beach all the surrounding restaurants/bars were wonderful! Hotel staff was amazing

Room was small, had an inside courtyard room, wish I had asked for a room facing out. Well-maintained, but obviously an old hotel. Call it "historic". Valet parking with in and out services was an incredible $7 a day, what a bargain! Breakfast was nice, continental, with lots of fruit and make your own waffles. Would do it again.

The hotel has a great location right on State st. but little else to offer. The room we got was small for the price we paid. The room smelled a little funny which considering it's an old hotel was fine. No pool, no hot tub & no gym which I knew when I booked the room but still it would have been good to have one. The elevator was small, slow & loud […] (if you get your room through hotels.com you're likely going to get a room close to it so be prepared) The staff was friendly & the complimentary breakfast was good. I'd only recommend this hotel if you're looking for a great central location but if your looking for more amenities & comfort I'd look elsewhere. Les mer

Location was great, hotel was cozy and comfortable. Staff was helpful. The elevator was painfully slow so ended up taking the stairs to our 3rd floor room which I thought was a little bit on the small side. We had a great time shopping the next day and we were able to leave our car with the valet until we were done. I would recommend getting your gear brought up and taking the stairs because the elevator takes forever

We've stayed in Santa Barbara many times, but never at this hotel. I took the train up from O. C. Got off the train, had drinks and appetizers at the Enterprise Fish Company, and then walked to the hotel! I loved everything about the Hotel Santa Barbara, except the elevator. I live in santa barbara and work right across the street from this hotel. Since i was getting married and the location of our reception was just a few doors down i recommended this hotel to our guest for overnight stays. I also booked my room through them. I explained i was getting married (on a monday) and maybe since i had referred for my wedding […] and many times in the passed for any sort of discounted rate given it was a monday, we told our wedding guest to book rooms there, and both my fiance and i worked 2 doors down from the hotel. Answer flat out no with no consideration. Given that i used my free room through hotels.com cause even i didnt want to pay the rate they offered. At the day of check in my husband ask if any upgrade was available since it was our wedding night, no once again. We are very aware since we work downtown and know the industry the hotel was probably half empty. Upon arrival after the reception i was so turned off by any interaction we had with the hotel i was ready to just go back to my house but knew that i probably wouldnt get my free room refunded. The next morning we had to meet the rest of the wedding guest for brunch, i showered and bath tub clogged up almost 3/4 of the way. Not only that but it never drained so my husband couldnt take a shower the next day. At this point i was disgusted with this place and he went home and showered. Fortunately we live in sb. Im really upset that over the past 10 years i have worked downtown santa barbara i have recommended this hotel because of its convience! Definately overrated and overpriced! If your looking for a downtown hotel go to holiday inn express or the hotel oceana. Hotel santa barbara is horrible!!!! Les mer

"Convenience in Downtown Santa Barbara"
The hotel location is excellent, being in the heart of downtown and about a 15 min walk to the beach. Valet parking is helpful especially given the limited parking space in the area. Staff was courteous and helpful. The only downside is the small room size, but overall it was a very good experience.

""Classic" hotel in fun neighborhood"
Hotel Santa Barbara is an older hotel with lots of character and all the essentials for comfort updated. It is right in the middle of downtown, a cute shopping/dining area with lots to see and do. One tip: the parking lot is behind the hotel, a little hard to find at first. If you circle the hotel, you'll see the entrance.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location on State Street. The only complaints I had is the elevator is an old one with a door and gate. The door didn't open automatically, even though it was posted it would. And the gate was ackward and difficult to manuver with luggage. Most of the time I just used the stairs. The other complaint I […] had was with a desk clerk in the morning when I came down looking for the continental breakfast at 6:40 a.m. When I asked him where it was he said right here in the lobby with a less than acceptable attitude. I looked around and didn't see any sign of breakfast and with the same rude attitude he told me it didn't start till 7. Les mer

"Awesome location"
We loved being able to walk up and down State St. The location is in the middle of everything and not far from the beach. We were disappointed that our room didn't get cleaned one afternoon. They did bring us fresh towels however when we asked.

Our stay was very enjoyable, however, when we called to request additional shampoo and conditioner, they were never delivered. The hotel's breakfast was delicious, and the experience of being in the middle of downtown was fun. We would gladly return on our next visit to Santa Barbara!

Das Hotel Santa Barbara liegt mitten in der State Street, umgeben von Restaurants, Bars und Shops. Wir hatten trotzdem ein wirklich ruhiges Zimmer und auch zum Strand sind es nur gut 5-10 min.zu Fuss. Das Hotel ist wirklich sauber, das einzige was zu bemängeln wäre, ist dass die Zimmer schon sehr klein sind und wenn man genau hinschaut, hat das Hotel […] einfach schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel. War aber wie gesagt alles sauber und gepflegt und das Frühstück (mitten in der Lobby) wirklich lecker. Wenn nochmal St.Barbara, dann gerne wieder das Hotel, Lage und Sauberkeit waren wirklich super. サンタバーバラまでは、アムトラックで行きましたが、駅からホテルまでは歩いても行ける距離ですが、タクシーでも5～6ドル程度で行けます。部屋も綺麗ですし、スタッフもとても感じの良い方達でした。 ロビーでは、朝パン、フルーツ、飲み物等が用意されており、簡単な朝食を取る事が出来ます。また、ロビーには一日中コーヒー、紅茶が用意されています。

Et lidt kedeligt men yderst centralt placeret hotel midt i byen. Billigt og godt for den der blot skal have et rent og pænt sted at sove.
