The hotel desk staff was fantastic and friendly. The facilities were nice as expected but the front desk is the reason we will return

The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The morning breakfast is ALWAYS a nice touch. Many options to choose from. The only slight downfall for me was the location. I would definitely stay there again because of the people working there, they were very accommodating and made our stay great. Keep up the good work!

i have several friend live the same hotel,all is good,but complaints mattress is too soft

In need of updating. Carpet stained, bathroom looked dated, shower curtain almost falling off the wall.

Very friendly staff! Clean rooms and environment. GPS directions put you onto Boston st, where you could not enter the hotel parking lot from.t. Difficlt to locate via GPS. You must drive through south bay shopping plaza parking lot. Otherwise a good price for quality.

The hotel was OK, the room was clean and was in good shape. Pretty good bed. My only complain was breakfast, the pancake machine was broken and I got stuck listening to all the ignorant comments from "Fox and Friends" which made the not so great food seem even worse.

We had a great time in Boston and the hotel was great. Loved the free parking.

Front desk staff was very cordial. He gave all the necessary details for amenities, breakfast, internet, etc. with enthusiasm and a big smile. The room was very clean and comfortable. Check-out was pre-printed, we did not have to wait in long lines to return keys. Close to some shopping, neighborhood is not luxurious but ok.

very close to the red line subway "Andrew" station, and hotel operates shuttle bus to Andrew station every 30 minutes. Complimentary morning buffet is good. Shopping mall is very close. But, there are no good restaurants around hotel.

We stayed for Thanksgiving weekend...great price for that holiday...took the bus in from NYC and the hotel is no more than 10 minutes away from the bus depot...the hotel has a shuttle bus that can take you to the subway and it is 2 stops away from Downtown Boston...room was immaculate with a fridge and microwave...the staff were very helpful and friendly...already […] making arrangements to book for New Year's Eve!!! Every fall I attend a conference at the Seaport World Trade Center. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express now twice. The hotel is consistant with hopitality, service and cleanliness. We spent 6 nights there and found it to be clean, spacious, within 5 mins. walk to "T" as well as a shuttle every half an hour. Felt safe walking back at night from the "T". Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed having a plaza next door with Olive Garden/Applebee's & shopping. Best deal in town is the 7-day T pass, and the green/yellow hop on hop off […] buses. Boston people friendly and city very easy to get around. Clam chowder at "Joe's" the best. Les mer

good customer service,clean and friendly

I generally enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Express Boston. Itnwas located right next to South Bay mall which was very convenient. I did however expect more from breakfast but the rooms made up for it and were decent. Definitely worth a shot if you're looking for something simple and straightforward!

I would strongly recommend this Hotel to anybody. It is very convenient to Airport ( 15 mins away) The staff at reception are very friendly and co-operative. I think the room is good and the transportation is ok, but I think the neighborhood is not good, the place is somewhat remote for there are few people living there, and at night, it seems very few people in the street.

Excellent facility, good breakfast and room was an above average size.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for - comfortable, clean, inexpensive, and well run with a friendly staff. Rooms are a good size and the breakfast buffet is much better than most hotel free breakfasts. Free parking was great and the subway is just a short walk away. What was billed as a "King Bed Suite" became a "junior suite" upon check-in, and turned out to be a typical-size hotel room, not at all a suite, into which a lumpy rollaway cot was wheeled. We were shortchanged towels and had to expressly ask for replacements after towels were taken away. We got misinformation about tours. We stayed there 3 nights and we appreciated it. The room was very clean and the breakfest was included. The food was good, fresh and varied.The subway was near about 7 minutes and a shuttle was available each half hour. Parking free. I would recommand it to my best friend.

This hotel is the best and the staff are excellent. I have stayed there many times and will always stay there when I am in the area!

7 minute walk south from Andrew Station on the Red Tube line. Front desk staff very friendly, room was very clean. Hotel is close to highway & rail yard, but you couldn't hear any noise from our room. Breakfast included :-) Free wi-fi = bonus. Reasonable rate. Overall good choice if you're ok with not being right downtown.

If you're on a budget and location isn't all that important to you, this place is as good as any. Note, a cab to/from the hotel to downtown Boston never cost more than $11, which is cheap in my book.

I thought this was a great hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the amenities were great such as comfortable bed, bathroom, iron, fridge, and microwave. The breakfast had great variety and was tasty. The hotel wasn't in the best location as it's not so close to downtown area. We drove out from California to New York and back and I have to say this was one of our least favorites. The staff here is very nice and there is a decent continental breakfast to start your day. Unfortunately the hotel does look dated it could use a little tlc. The walk to the nearest metro station isn't far but the neighborhood seems a little rough. […] Let's just say I wanted to get back before it was dark since we were walking back with our three children. Also out of all the hotels we booked on our cross country trip this one was the most expensive and unfortunately I have to say I felt cheated with the price I paid. Also and I know these things happen but the dryer broke after I had washed my clothes so I had to take my clothes still a little wet to our next hotel to get them dried. We do like Holiday Inn Express but this one didn't seem to live up to the name. Les mer

2.5 stars is a stretch of a rating. I’d give it about 1.5 stars. Location: I didn’t realize when I booked the room that the hotel was on a one way highway frontage road. The directions got us to within 300yds of the building, but we had to park the car, walk around the block a couple of times to figure out how to get to the front door. This isn’t the […] end of the world, but it was annoying. The Building: The floor of our room sloped toward the head of the bed. This made for a strange feeling when we were trying to fall asleep. Structurally, I think the building has settled in a weird way. Staff: The night receptionist at the front desk was an absolute gem. She was polite, professional, helpful, and working very hard checking folks in while answering the phone. Conclusion: We were tired and needed a place to sleep, so we were willing to overlook a few things. The beds were clean and very comfortable. However, the water was leaking from the A/C and the bathroom had a really bad smell. It wasn't too clean, wasn't too comfortable for staying 3 nights (with the bathroom)

The location of this hotel is really unfortunate. It's not a pretty neighborhood, and the hotel is a bit hard to get to if you're driving. My daughter lives in the Boston area, and she objected to me staying there, because of the neighborhood. However, I stayed there for 5 days, and I never felt uncomfortable while walking during the day. The hotel […] is a 10 minute walk from the "Andrew" red-line T stop. When I had to return after dark, I got off at the South Station stop and took a taxi, $12.00 plus tip. The hotel itself is very clean, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Clean, good location, good service, close to MBTA subway station, free breakfast and parking, overall a good two night stay

We had a car - the T is not in a good location. The hotel itself was very comfortable. Still doing some construction work but the staff was friendly and accomodating and the room was comfortable with a refrigerator and microwave.
