I was very surprised to find out that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations. The lobby was torn apart, and was not suitable to be open. They should have been totally closed down until the renovations were completed. It certainly took a lot away from the experience, by having the lobby under construction adjacent to breakfast area. I certainly […] didn't eat breakfast there, concerned that it could be a health issue. My recommendation, in the future, they should prominantly comment, on Hotels.com, that the hotel in doing renovations, and offer anyone staying there the option of getting a full refund if not totally satisfied. clean accomodations, friendly staff and nice breakfast

The only place I've stayed when in Richmond over the last 5 years. Business and pleasure trips 4-5 times a year. Centrally located for me, safe neighborhood, grocery and mall nearby making any errand running I might have to do super convenient. Great accommodations, very clean, and the most comfortable hotel beds I've EVER slept on. They have remodeled […] bathrooms (spacious and nice) and are to start on the lobby very soon. Complimentary breakfast is always a good spread with lots of choices. I also love the fresh coffee and tea available anytime. Staff over the years has changed a bit but always friendly and helpful. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was well-appointed and had a wide variety of food choices including hot cereal and waffles.

The room furnishings and bath supplies were very luxurious. The staff was very friendly and capable. The breakfast was lovely and offered a great choice. The hotel was very quiet and our room looked out on a lawn and wooded area. Very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Fantastic stay. Very convenient. Nice shopping close by. Only problem was luke warm water for showers early in the morning. The hotel was near capacity but no excuse for not enough hot water.

The rooms are quite nice. Surprising nice actually. The main lobby smells of clorine since the indoor pool is just down the hall. So your breakfast area smells like a pool deck. The upstairs hallways seemed a bit run down and smelled of cigarettes. Quite location and a very nice room for the price. Maybe eat breakfast somewhere else?

We only stayed one night but it was a great hotel. We visited the pool and was clean and queit. The room hbo channel didnt have sound and was fixed right away. I needed a sewing kit and they brought it to my room even without asking. The breakfest was full of choices and very good. The sheets were clean and soft. Our stay was a pleasant surprise in every respect. The room was very clean, immaculately maintained, and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were sumptuous. What we especially liked & were surprised with was the breakfast. Many places advertise free breakfast, and then serve just coffee and a few packaged pastries. Here we were treated to eggs, make-your-own […] waffles, as well as assorted cereals & pastries. My parents live in Midlothian, so we will return here regularly. Thanks. Les mer

I enjoyed staying at this hotel during the week that I was in Richmond for personal business . The staff members were pleasant and helpful, the breakfast options were good for this type hotel and the room was clean, comfortable and very quite. Overall it was a good place to stay for the value received. My only caution, is that the indoor swimming pool […] is very small and the hotel is about a ten minute drive away from a freeway. Les mer

The room was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but was disappointed that they let the hot water run out at night. Perfectly nice if non-descript motel, in a safe area. Right off Midlothian Tpk so plenty of chain restaurant choices and shopping. I'd come back.

The Hampton Inn in Midlothian, VA is a great hotel--clean, in a great location, and easy to find. The complimentary full breakfasts are great also. Beds are comfortable and the room and bathroom are very clean. The indoor pool is a little small, but perfectly adequate, even to swim laps. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Hotel was clean; beds/room were comfortable. Breakfast bar on a Saturday morning included eggs and sausage in addition to wafflemaker, breads, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, and variety of beverages.

My only complaint was, the previous guest had smoked in a non-smoking room. I was given a spray to use to make it bearable. I didn't ask to be moved to another room, as I was a midnight check in.

stayed here on a driving holiday in virginia. definitely recommended. convenient for stores nearby. very clean, very safe, nice breakfast. would stay here again for sure. booked online in advance to save money and very happy with the service.

Great experience overall. Travelling on business, staying there for a Training Seminar. Already scheduled to stay again in October.

We had a total of three rooms, and all three were very nice, clean, and had a desk and things for the internet. Plus there is a Denny's and a lot of great restaurants around the hotel, which was a plus when you have 6 people.

This hotel is on a main route into Richmond,Va. However,it is located just off highway,it is very quite. Looks new or newly remodeled. it was convenient to shopping and many restaurants. This was a family event and was a convenient location for us.
