I arrived too early(one o'clock), so I waited in my air conditioned car for one hour, Right outside the room that I ended up getting. The only "cleaning" that was done in my room, was change of bedsheets, towres, and no cloth , mop og detergent entered my room that day. But I liked the room, bathroom, bed and pool area. Aldo coffee maker, hair dryer and refrigerator in my room. And the maintenance guy was hard working and very service minded. He made a good impression for the hotel. Hotel is really close to the beach, and the beach Is lovely! I would def go back!

Veldig bra senger, rent og pent, ikke veldig sentralt, nærme flyplassen. ca 5 minutter å gå til nærmeste butikk. Gratis kjapt trådløst internett, og gratis buss til og fra flyplassen, sentrum ligger ca 15 minutter unna med taxi. Jeg vil bo der igjen hvis jeg skal tilbake til Tampa.

Flott stab, hyggelige mennesker med serviceinnstilling. Fikk rom med lukt da vi kom - ble byttet neste morgen uten problemer. Kjempefin frokost i rene lokaler. Anbefales!

We arrived in Tampa late, too late to continue with our trip and we stayed at this hotel for the convience of closeness to the airport. The hotel is an older hotel, but the rooms were clean. I was worried about the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway extending to our room, but it was not a problem, the staff was very friendly and courteous.

Awesome room, comfortable, fast internet, quick service. GPS and location was a bit tough although once i got there, it was great.
It was fine for one night. However, if we stayed any longer, I would have complained. There were no pans for cooking and only 1 plate to use. Glad it wasn't an "extended stay". Our plane left at 6:00 A.M. and the shuttle started at 5:00 so we had to keep the car rental and drive to the airport early in order to catch our flight.

The hotel is in a good location but in a heavy trafic area. Why it carries the title of De Luxe we don't know as it is a dated hotel. There is aircraft noise from the airport but not intusive. There were maintenance problems but these were dealt with quickly.
HOtel had no shampoo which was very inconvenient. Also only served coffee, no tea
very limited kitchen utensils, very dirty kitchen floor, dirty dishes in the cabinets

Clean quiet hotel. Friendly and very honest staff. Accidently left my $600 camera at the front desk during check-in, didn't realize until the following morning. We called the front desk and they had put it in a safe going someone would claim it! Would stay here again.

"It's possible to find better option in same area."
Lobby closes at 11pm. Employees that work the night shift barely speak English. Basically you're screwed if your flight arrives in Tampa late & you get to hotel after 11pm. Only real plus is that hotel location is close to TPA. Would expect a little nicer hotel/service for price paid.

We were not aware that food was not available at the hotel. Our choices were either to order in pizza or walk to a 7-11 for food. I would rate this hotel similar to a motel 6. A better description of the location and services would be a good service to prospective clients.

We called for the shuttle when we arrived in the airport and waited for 45 minutes before we gave up and took a taxi. The taxi ride took 5 minutes (and cost $15). When I called hotels.com, I specifically asked for a DVD player in the room and they assured me this hotel has them. I passed up on the other hotels because of this. Well, there's no DVD player in this hotel either, so I was very disappointed. Other than that, the hotel was good. I love the spacious rooms and the kitchenette. "OVERALL"
The stay was ok not what I had in mind but definitely a good place for extended stay...Clean, nice and friendly staff. The only problem I encountered was the guests staying directly above me sounded as if they were coming through the ceiling all night therefore I didn't get any sleep. "Extended Stay Deluxe Tampa - Airport"
This hotel was awful. Just after checking in, the TV in the room blew up filling tthe room with smoke & smell of burning plastic. The staff was very unhelpful with the situation & didn't really care that my daughter & granddaughter has to run down the hall in their towels(they were in the shower at the time of the TV blow up). When we asked for assistance […] to relocate to another room, we were told that no maintenance personnel was on staff & no one was available to assist from the front desk. After all, as we were told, we had 3 adults in the room & were only staying one night. The cleaniness of the general areas left alot to be desired. We asked for a crib on the reservation but were told only when we checked in that none could be provided & we should have been told that by the website. Obviously, if we had known that, we would not have chosen this location. I sincerely doubt if I will ever use this website again & will tell everyone I know my experience with this hotel & chain. We were not offered any reduction on the bill or ANY assistance - this is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! Les mer

"Not Enough Resources"
Although I arrived at 2 AM, my room was ready. After I unpacked, I tried to take a shower. There was no water for the shower in spite of water for the lavatory and commode. The night attendant moved me to another room, which meant that I had to re-pack. The new room had a shower that worked, but the commode was stopped up and the fan in the bathroom […] did not work. The night attendant finally got the toilet unstopped. The day manager could not get the fan in the bathroom working because "she needed parts". That was obvious, but she had no information about when the parts could be obtained and the fan put into working order. The hotel has nice rooms and a good location, but it cannot respond to normal maintenance of its facility in a timely manner. Les mer

I only stayed one night but if I had planed on more time than that I would have changed rooms or hotels if necessary. The bathroom fixtures were dated and worn looking and the interior of the refrigerator and freezer were dirty. Yuk!

This hotel rank as one of the poorest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The lobby was nice and maintained but that was about it... As far as being nice. The halls smelled of cigarette smoke. There were full trash bags lying in the halls (Still there the following morning!) The elevator smelled of stale cigarette smoke and liquor. The room smelled stuffy, […] the couch fabric was worn, and the overstuffed chair had many spots where the synthetic leather was worn off on the upper back and head areas. As I pulled the covers back on the bed I noticed that the pillow case had a shoe print on it. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee, bagels, and toast. The outside of the hotel was very nice as well as the lobby but that was where the nice ended. Les mer

"Extended Stay Deluxe Hotel Tampa Florida"
Very pleasant room with a nice comfortable recliner--a welcome addition after a long road trip! Room also had a nice kitchenette and guest laundry and exercise room. The staff was very polite and helpful. Only complaint is that the traffic around the hotel is somewhat congested, due to location near the Tampa Airport. This is not too much of a problem, […] as long as you allow for morning rush traffic. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as a good deal for the price. Les mer
"Airport shuttle, and that's about it"
Good Location, and had airport shuttle. Room had 1 bed plus a pullout couch, but there were no linens or pillow for the pullout. Nothing, not even in a drawer. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The 1 vending machine in the entire building was broken. Overall, not a good experience.

"Close to the airport - no bedding for the couch"
Since there were no rooms with 2 separate beds, we were supposed to have a queen sized bed and a pull out couch. My husband is a restless sleeper and we get separate beds when we travel. I got up to sleep on the pull out couch and there was no bedding for it. Just be aware. It was convenient and clean. Quite a bit of space with a small kitchen and couch […] and a desk area. I arrived late in the evening (04mar11), caught my hotel shuttle with the nicest driver imaginable, and Stasia checked in within 90 seconds. I felt a little hungry and asked at the lobby about a nearby store. Even though it was close by, one of the people in the lobby drove me to the store! It wasn't that they were so good to me service-wise (they were); […] it just felt like I was treated like a welcome guest rather than a PAYING guest. I'd stay here again. Les mer

hotels.com called this hotel for us to find out if they had an early (5am) shuttle to the airport, we found they did. Upon arrival we were told that the earliest was 6am. When we explained the above, the receptionest immediately remedied the situation for us. The room was beautiful with a full kitchen and very reasonably priced. I would stay there again […] and again and would recommend to anyone. The only thing I would have changed (if Im picky)would be to have a king bed, which none of the rooms have. Les mer

The room was clean but shabby - torn bedspreads, stained bathtub etc. Between 3 and 4 am there was a lot of noise from an adjoining room - brawl, party, hard to say what. On the upside the shuttle was convenient and efficient. Close to the airport.

Travelers should be aware that wi-fi costs $5.00. Also, the toilet seat broke (I'm average weight). on the positive side it's only 5 minutes to airport.
Was told there would be a shuttle to airport since our flght was cancelled and we turned in rental car this was important but shuttle only ran from 6 am to midnight our flight was at 6 am had to call a cab.
