Red Roof Inn St Louis - Westport - St. Louis

We were quite happy with this hotel. Price was great. Service was great. We needed extra towels, and got them with no problem. Our only complaint was the amount of hot water in the shower. We stayed for two nights, and the showers were cold both days.

The room was clean and free of any odors. The best thing that they could do would be to upgrade the mattress as I felt the springs.

This hotel was a GREAT value for the money. We stayed 2 nights. The bathroom was clean and everything in there functioned properly. The mattress and bed was very clean with no sign of hairs, stains, or bugs. We used the mini fridge and microwave and everything worked great. We felt safe and secure in the room and the parking lot. There could have been […] better attention to detail in cleaning - specifically vacuuming the edges of the floor. They were dusty/dirty. Otherwise the floor appeared clean. We were only here for one night--arrived late and left early--but the room was large and clean.

Checked in at 8:30 at night. Reserved a king bed but had a grandchild with us so they switched us to 2 double beds for no extra charge. Rooms are well kept and beds were comfortable. Located in an industrial area so no neighbors to mess with your vehicle. Quick and easy check-in with no surprises Would recommend for a good cheep place to stay.

Hotel was in a good location but fridge never worked correctly, key stopped working unexpectedly, and I am not sure if it was cleaned before or during our stay. The commode looked like it wasn't cleaned and hair was on the sink when we arrived and the whole time we were there! This could possibly be explained by the fact that the guy doing housekeeping […] the day of arrival was also constantly looking in and out of a room door as he cleaned because he was also the guy working the check in desk that day! Room was clean, everything worked. It would have been nice to get coffee packets for use on the 2nd day and soap. Cleaning took the used soap and left no new.

It was fine except the toilet was broken, so the water kept running the entire time. Also couldn't get the heat to work.

the fridge in the room was defective and I had some stuff go bad but otherwise everything was perfect. great water pressure in the shower!!!!

It was a great hotel. I am very impressed with this hotel. I left my billfold in the room and had to return for it. They had it ready for my pick up! I appreciate the honesty of this hotel management! My hats are off to the whole staff!

The hotel was fine. We were looking to save money, but still get a decent room, and that's what we got. The rooms were clean, the beds were fine enouh. The only problem was that one of our 2 rooms smelled like old pot and a broken pipe was found on the floor by one of our kids. The rooms were listed as non-smoking and I'm sure the smoking was done without […] the knowledge of the management, but it would have been nice if the room could have been aired out better before being rented. the room were very clean, housekeeping were very freindly and helpfull. very reasonable cost... coffee maker was too small. There is plenty to see in St Louis.

The hotel was great. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint that I have is that the first night our neighbors were arguing, fighting and yelling at 4:15 am and woke us up. I called the front desk and told them about it. I had to call the front desk again at 6:10 am because they were still fighting. I am not sure […] if the hotel called the police or if the hotel finally went up to the room but they finally left about 6:15 am. I think the hotel should have called the police the first time I called them. I did not like my 6 year old daughter to have to be woke up in the middle of the night to this especially after traveling for 5 1/2 hours to get there we were ready for a peaceful night of sleep and we did not get that. I thought the stay was good. I couldn't understand whu I could call out to St. Charles and not to Chesterfield which is about the same distance from the hotel. I couldn't call out to Chesterfield the area I was going to.I have stayed at this Red Roof a couple of times and like it and would stay there again.I stayed at the Extended Stay Hotel next door […] and got bed bugs. Nothing fancy. This is an inexpensive hotel but serves its purpose. I would stay here again. There were a couple of minor things that bothered me but overall for us to have a place to sleep and be in the evenings is all we needed.

They allowed some one to check in as me before i arrived and when I did arrive they couldn't find my name then gave me the key to the wrong room. So horrible when I walked in on the wrong room.

Our stay was good at the hotel. The only thing that was disappointing was the cleaning. The room was picked up and the beds were made but the bathroom floor was not swept. When we laid down on the beds, the comforted smelled like body odor. We had to take them off and spray air freshener for the smell.

Very good value for the money. No Frills, but pleasant staff & nice accommodations at a budget price. Wifi is very weak, but all else was very satisfactory. Would definitely stay here again.

The one night stay was quiet, clean, and with good coffee. Really couldn't ask for anything more considering it was one of the lowest rates in the area.

We did a quick overnight here on our way to Kansas City. Our travel was severely delayed by a snow storm, and we booked this on the road. I love Red Roof's pet-stay-free policy and it was a relief to be able to book a cheap room last minute and have a safe place to bring my cats, who were traveling with me. The room was adequate, but had absolutely […] no frills. I've stayed in other places for the same price and had a few more amenities (like a fridge and microwave in room, and breakfast...there was free "coffee"...more like brown, coffee-scented water, but it was free). It was clean enough and the beds were comfortable. There is a famous restaurant with an owl logo, which is known for scantily clad ladies (name is censored by this site) right in front of the hotel, and in general it didn't seem like a fabulous area, but it was right off the highway, which is a big plus. The help at the front desk was very friendly. There was a little PR "spin" on the envelope our key came with. It said "We, like many of our guests believe in simplicity and economy without giving up quality. This isn't about eliminating frills; it's about focusing on the meaningful..." Ha ha- cracked me up. My keys stopped working several times. Having to wait in line at the service desk while the worker talked with someone on the phone. Whether it was a personal call or a business call I was displeased to see how she handled her body language during the duration of the call (rolling eyes, sighing, shaking head). My room wasn't bad but the bedding was […] scratchy. I've had more than a handful of better hotel experiences. I don't expect to stay in a Red Roof Inn again because of this business. Les mer
