Amazing little hotel in south kensington. Stayed there for 3 days and locotaion was good and near the tube. 4 min walk.staff is friendly. Also offera massage in the hotel rooms that is magnificent! Will defently return on my next trip to London.

Hotellet ligner svært lite på bildene på nett, men er rent og staben var bra. Kontinental frokost son var helt OK. Ekstremt bråkete aircondition trekker ned. Greit hotell når du er turist og bare skal sove og spise frokost der.

3. gang jeg er på dette hotellet. Flott beliggenhet, med gangavstand til undergrunnstasjon. Lite støy og god komfort på hotellet. Litt enkel frokost, og et minus for toaster som ikke virker ordentlig. Det største minuset ved oppholdet denne gangen var at heisen sluttet å virke, og at dette ikke ble fikset i løpet av de tre nettene vi var der. Det kan […] være greitt med ekstra trim i trapper fra tid til annen, men det er ikke alltid like kjekt å manøvrere koffert og liknende opp og ned bratte trapper. Hotellet ligger nær Gloucester Road Underground Station. Det er bra standard, og rolig området. Frokosten er ok, og servicen er upåklagelig. Vil absolutt anbefale dette.

Fantastisk hotel! Veldig bra servis, koselig og hjelpsom personalet. Rent og pent. Fine store rom og avisen levert foran døren hver morgen. Stille og rolig. Bra frokost med fersk presset kaffe. Fint område med fine restauranter.

Dette hotellet kommer ikke til å ødelegge din london ferie. Kort vei til tuben, endel restauranter og butikker rundt, og grei service. Frokost inkludert i en noe trang matsal, men ellers er dette hotellet å anbefale. Gratis Wi-Fi på rommene. Anbefales!

Hadde et svært bra 4 dagers opphold på Ashburn Hotell. Velholdt, rent og ryddig og god service fra de ansatte. Litt trang spisesal, men ellers god mat og service. Hotellet ligger sentralt til i forhold til undergrunnsbane og busser.

Dette er det fineste hotellet jeg har vært på i London - og det til en pris de fleste kan overleve. Ren og fin luft inne, kjempegod seng og et veldig romslig og delikat rom. Lenge siden jeg har sovet så godt! Frokostrommet var litt trangt, men god service og god mat. NB! Et lite, men koselig hotell i Kensington. Vi ble oppgradert til rom med King Size seng. Rommet var fint og smakfullt innredet med god seng og bra garderobekapasitet. Badet var lekkert. Litt trafikkstøy fra Cromwell Road. Frokostsalen i underetasjen var noe liten og trangt mellom bordene, men frokostbuffeen var til gjengjeld helt OK. Hotellet har en hyggelig atmosfære med en betjening som gjør alt for at du skal trives. Sentralt i nærheten av Pickadilly- Cirkle- og District lines. Et godt utgangspunkt til mange av Londons severdigheter og gjøremål.

My daughter and I stayed here for four days and were very satisfied with our stay. It is just around the corner from the Gloucester Rd tube station and the Hop on, Hop off bus tour. We found the staff pleasant and helpful. We had a small problem with the heat in our room, which was promptly and creatively handled. Breakfast was included with our room, […] and was more than adequate: fruit, juices, cheese, meats, pastries, toast and coffee served in French press coffee makers. There are many pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance (including Burger King and KFC if you need a fast food fix). I would definitely stay at The Ashburn again. Les mer

We had a great time in London and it was made so much better by the location and the atmosphere at the Ashburn. It was close to an underground station on the line to Heathrow. Room was a good size but the only downside in our room was that there was only 1 bedside light. The area felt very safe to walk around even at night. Comfortable room, good location from Gloucester Road tube. The day that I stayed there was a problem with the hotel's licence so they could not sell any alcohol and the dinner offer was 2 beers and a home made pizza!, but apart from that very good.

This is not a cheap hotel, but London is not cheap, and you get what you pay for. Not quite as fancy as I might have expected for the price, but no problems. A little road noise, but perfectly acceptable.

I cannot fault much about our stay, it\s position near the Gloucester Rd tube was simply great for Heathrow airport and the walk to the Albert Hall where we had tickets booked and the science museum was pleasent. Nice service. Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Close to Gloucester train stop. Close to both nice local and fast food restaurants chance. Neighborhood is fine but not as active in the evening as other parts of the city. Overall, I would stay here again.

The Ashburn hotel is trying to be a boutique hotel which it certainly is not!!! It is not worth a four star rating...Sorry but that’s the truth! The website photos look great and then when you get there it’s a bit of a let down. The staff are okay, though on our second evening there we walked into the bar/lounge to find two staff on their own leaning […] against the bar. We asked if we could get our free drink only to be told 'Sorry no, only between 7 and 8pm' and then one of the staff returned to browsing his mobile phone. We were not impressed with that! The heating didn’t work properly in the room, there was a portable air con/heater unit provided. It worked but looked very well used. From the experience that my partner and I received we will not be returning to the Ashburn hotel and would not recommend this hotel! There are far better hotels available for the money! Les mer

Nice Boutique Hotel In a great location with easy access to underground train. I found the staff to be Great! Very helpful and extremely friendly, always trying to keep the guest happy. Shortfalls were, small room (mine was #105) can't speak for others. Wish there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom for excessive steam generated from half enclosed shower […] which I am not used to. I would go again! Just hope I can get some better rates next time. A little expensive for my wallet. Les mer

GOOD PLACE I LIKED THE COMPLEMENTARY DRINK EVERY DAY ROOMS ARE CLEAN BUT SMALL AS MOST OF CENTRAL LONDON HOTELS I DO NOT LIKE THE TV ( only 20 channels ) GOOD BREAKFAST AND HOTEL GAVE ME AN OPTION TO HAVE COMPLEMENTARY EGG DISH SINCE THEY DO NOT OFFER HALAL MEAT. overall it was good choise and I will sure book again

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. You cannot beat its location both for access to Heathrow (tube station is 5 mins away) and the Knightsbridge area/rest of London. There are plenty of bars and restaurants close by but just far enough away that you don't have to deal with the noise. I recently stayed at the Ashburn hotel for a week. The location of the hotel is excellent (less than 5 minute walk to Gloucester Road tube and within walking distance of V&A museum, Hyde Park and Royal Albert Hall). The rooms are small, but clean and come with all the essentials. It's also very quiet considering the hotel is on a busy road. The staff […] are very pleasant and helpful. Another big plus is the free wifi! It was also a nice touch to come back to a small "gift" each day left in my room (mostly little luxuries to make your stay that much more pleasant). Les mer

Great rooms. Excellent Service. Free Wi-Fi, Free Breakfast and Queen Beds all at a reasonable price! The hotel is very close to the Piccadilly Line station, bus stops and the hop-on, hop-off tour buses. There are many restaurants around, and even a small supermarket. It is within walking distance to Kensington Gardens and a few other attractions, other […] things are a quick hop on the tube to central London. Getting there from Heathrow airport was an easy 30 minute ride on the tube (no transfers needed). The concierge was very helpful with theater reservations and other tickets. The only thing I would change is the shower door. It was very hard to move and never closed quite completely so there was some splashing. This was the 3rd year in a row I stayed at the Ashburn. This hotel is perfect for me. It's close to the Tube (Gloucester Road station, Picadilly Line goes to/from Heathrow), very comfortable and attractive, and they serve breakfast on site. There are restaurants, supermarkets, and novelty shops all within easy walking distance. Knightsbridge (Harrod's!) […] , Kensington Gardens, and the Victoria & Albert and Natural History Museums also are within walking distance. Les mer

We upgraded to the "king" room, which only implies that the room it's self is larger and has a bathtub. I understand that all beds are the same size, only room size differs with the descriptions; "queen" room is smaller and only has a shower. Your service is second to none and we would stay again in a heartbeat! I just didn't get why you had no plugs for hairdryers near a mirror? I get why they aren't in the bathroom, for safety, but I am severely nearsighted and had to look clear across the room and do my hair using the mirrors on the closet doors. It was very frustrating. We loved the Ashburn hotel. The room was surprisingly large (a twin room) and spotlessly clean. The amenities were as described, e.g. robes, slippers, breakfast, small refrigerator in the room, etc. The hotel was very close to the tube - about 1 1/2 blocks and we felt very safe walking around the area. Next to the tube were a grocery store, and a Boots […] pharmacy. We very much appreciated the services of the two concierges who were very helpful and the young lady who served as receptionist. And, of course, who doesn't love a glass of champagne at night! Les mer

no wifi for 2 nights in a row of out 5 nights staying there. previous comments also complaint about this issue. It seems this happens constantly. the hotel failed to fix it. we wouldn't choose a hotel without wifi service. Internet service required a new password each day and was interupted at times. Convienent to trains,nice neightborhood, quality amenities, rooms was a bit small with limited closet space but were comfortable. Staff was helpful.Continental breakfast was OK, limited bar menu.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a King size room. The view was of the city road and was really breathtaking for someone new to the city. I loved the setup of the room and though that the bathroom was great. I had lots of room. I was able to walk to the Underground system in about 5 minutes. There is a […] lovely grocery store nearby on the way to the Underground. The area is great. There are some restaurants, a souvenir shop with a post office, and a charity shop nearby with amazing finds (called Zara). The hotel's concierge was amazing. I was able to catch a show for half price while I was in town. I also though that the breakfast was amazingly good. One night I ordered a light meal off the room service menu. The food came quickly and was really tasty. I would love to stay here again next time. Really- this place was superb! Worth every penny (or pence ;) ) Les mer

A lovely hotel...small and perfectly located between two tube stops and loads of charming, small restaurants. It is just a 9 block walk to the V & A and natural history museum. The staff were friendly and helpful...and the amenities included in the price were amazing...a full breakfast in the lovely breakfast room, free wi fi and a glass of good champagne […] each evening.
