Hotellet er billig og bra!, God frokost. Like ved ligger en engelsk pub, med ikke kun god drikke men også god mat på menyen. Anbefaler dette hotellet.

We stayed one night at the hotel as we were travelling from Gatwick Airport the next morning. The hotel was located aprx 10 min from the airport and it was easy to locate. The price we paid was extreamly low compared to the quality of the room and the proximity to the airport. God service, små rom. Veldig dårlig utvalg på frokosten. Rimelig og greit hotell for en overnatting i forbindelse med flybytte på Gatwick. 20 min å gå til Crawley sentrum.

Ligger ca 15 minutter i taxi fra Gatwick. Perfekt for en enkelt overnatting ved fx mellomlanding til videre destinasjon. Billig og greit hotell. Eneste minus er at det bare er et spisested rett ved hotellet (og der er det vanskelig å få bord). Vi tok taxi til Crawley sentrum (5 minutter) ... koselig med masse spisesteder.

Vi betalte ca. 14 pund med taxi fra flyplassen. Hotellet er bygget i 2 deler, en gammel del og en helt ny. Vi bodde i den nye delen som var veldig bra. Rommet var veldig bra, nytt bad, gode senger, flatskjerm, men lite. Var 4 stykker, og det ble litt trangt, kun 1 teppe i hver dobbelt seng. Pub(restauranten) ved siden av har billig og god mat. We were very satisfied. Very nice rooms, big bath. Only 10 min walk to railwaystation, with 35 min train to London Victoria and 3 min to Gatwick. Extreme low price and good service. Recommended!

Meget pent og nyoppusset hotell.Deikate rom.Hyggelig betjening.Annbefales på det varmeste.Puben/restauranten like ved bør besøkes.Knallgod mat til rimelige priser.Mitt neste førstevalg.Ingen shuttlebus fra Gatwick,men lokalbuss.Taxi fra flypl. ca 12-15 pund.

Vi kom sent om natta og ble hyggelig møtt. Stor parkering og betjening som så til at alt var rolig utenfor! Rommene var store og rene. God plass til en familie på fire. Badet var også bra. Ikke gulvteppe på badet og toalett som så mange plasser i england. Frokosten var noe skuffende, men godt det som var servert. Ble litt skuffet da baren var stengt […] kl 23, og det ikke var mulig å få kjøpt noe etter dette. Alt i alt er ok hotell for denne prisen, og ikke minst nærme Gatwick flyplass. Les mer

The hotel was all we expected, although we stayed one night only before we caught the early flight I would most definitely stay here again. One minor issue was the sofa bed was not made up, but once bougth to thier attention, we were moved to another room and the staff offered to help with luggage. Great staff

Good quality hotel. Rooms well maintained and peaceful area Breakfast hit and well stocked tables kept clear and clean Harvester pub close by but that could do with an upgrade .

Nothing extra, just basic, breakfast was simple.

We booked for one night because we had an early flight out. We were given a disabled room (119) for some reason known only to them we aren't disabled! The room was okay although the alarm pulls all over and the red lights from them on all night were bright a bit worrying in case we caught them and they went off! The bathroom was huge and had back mold […] on the floor near the shower that was just a wet room with a large drain in the floor/wall it had a disabled shower so water got everywhere when we showered. It was also freezing cold in there and we couldn't understand why. We actually had to wear a coat to go to the loo it was so cold we had to leave the bathroom door wide open ALL the time and the air conditioner on in the bedroom to try and warm the bathroom up! Breakfast was very basic not up to the usual high standard of Holiday Inn Express. The hotel itself was clean and staff that we dealt with were nice. I am not sure I would ever stay at this hotel again although I really do like Holiday Inn Express hotels. Les mer

Basic hotel and facilities. Room clean and adequate for a one night stay but bed could have been more comfortable. Room at back of hotel was noisy, main road close outside and traffic busy until late and started again early. No hotel restaurant but a good "Harvester" restaurant next door. There is no shuttle bus service linking the hotel to Gatwick […] and a twenty minute taxi ride cost £31 return. A very good buffet breakfast available from early, we ate at 0530. Overall a satisfactory stay for the price paid. Les mer

My husband and two small children enjoyed our one night stay there before departing from Gatwick the following morning. Transportation was convenient from this location, we rented a car, but there was also a regular bus to transport passengers to the airport.

First we were checked into an older section of hotel. Room was a bit tired and bathroom was very tired and lots of black mold in the shower stall. After getting completely unpacked we discovered that the heat did not work in the room. Staff were quick to apologize and to move us to another area of the hotel but I overheard staff talking to each other […] and the problem with the heat was already known to staff so I would have thought they should have double checked to make sure that heat worked prior to putting people in the room - it is November. The next room was also smallish but very good and obviously recently renovated. Bath was lovely, spotless and modern which is what I would expect for their price. By 6:45 am they had run out of hot food in the breakfast room and it took 10 minutes to replentish. Wi Fi is good but there is a surcharge. Restaurant is 3 minute walk and was fine. Location is only a 15 minute easy drive to so a good location if you are flying out the next day and have a rental car but there are a number of good options in this area and although it was fine in the end I did not find the property up to the usual Holiday Inn Express standards in a number of ways. Nice hotel friendly staff, close to the airport (London Gatwick). Breakfast could have been better (no boiled eggs or yougurt). Really good road-restaurant next door.

Very basic hotel. We stayed in a family room, which had a double bed and a sofa bed. Positives - the hotel was really convenient for Gatwick airport, and the double bed was comfortable. Negatives - the hotel is very basic with little in the way of facilities, and the sofa bed was horrendously uncomfortable. Room was a bit small, but had everything we […] needed. Hotel located in the midle of a traffic island, so you may notice some noise. Harvester restaurant conveniently located outside, but very busy when we visited. Overall - very basic, but it is what is is: an overnighter for early flights from Gatwick. It does that job fine. Les mer

Excellent value for money. Breakfast was very good too. Very helpfull staff that resolved a minor problem.

I would not recommend this hotel if you are using it for an overnight stay to catching a flight the next day as there is no shuttle to the airport. The taxi cost us 20 pounds round trip. The cost of the taxi would have been more but the gentleman at the info at the airport directed us to the local cab company.

Compared with other english hotel rooms ours was refreshingly modern and smart.

After many poor experiences in overnight stays at other travel type hotels this was extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed. Bathroom was beautiful with good lighting and ambiance. I would highly recommend it and stay again should the need arise

Were there with our two small children for a night before early flight from Gatwick. With 3 beds room a squash, but beds all very good & clean. Wake up call and taxi pick-up worked well, although quoted price by receptionist wrong since estate taxi's are more expensive.

i stayed here twice now in two weeks and could not fault it good clean room and good breakfast i would use again first class.

There was nothing extraordinary about this hotel, nothing that stood out, it was simply standard.

Surprised the buses at the airport didn't go to the Holiday Inn Express but taxi was £8 so not too bad if there is two of you. Hotel was lovely and we stayed on return from holiday for just one night after arriving late back at Gatwick. Lovely service and breakfast was lovely. Thank you,

On arrival (after the stated check-in time) we were assigned our room and given our key-card. When we got to the room it was still being cleaned. We had to wait for 1/2 hour. Once that was done all was well - very clean & relatively comfortable. An excellent choice for a quick getaway from Gatwick the next morning.

would recommend. Lift was a bit small. Lack of clear exit signs out of the carpark. But over all, very clean friendly receptionist. convenient location. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the newly redone part of the hotel and it had a fantastic new bathroom and comfortable bedroom. The breakfast was very good as well. The front desk staff could have been friendlier, but overall, we were very pleased with this hotel.

the staff and facilities at this hotel were fantastic, excellent value for money with a great bar and grill next door and great bar and breakfast in the hotel. Very comfy rooms with anything you could need Would definately use again

Fantastic, every was great, bright, welcoming, price and very confortable, nothing was too much trouble. Close to Crawley town centre and the busy pub next door was ideal. Will stay again for sure.

We really wanted a hotel near Brighton as we were looking after our two grandchildren of 5 & 3 but the prices were too high, so we found this and thought it was a great price. The room had everything we needed, maybe a little small for the four of us (two double beds left little room for anything else), but for us it was ideal. Big TV, clean bathroom […] with a lovely big shower. Plenty to do, especially liked Tilgate Park which was highlighted by this website before we arrived. We did get into Brighton twice - but don't go on a Saturday! Les mer

This is an excellent hotel....very nice staff, the facilities are new and clean, and it is quite easy to get to and from Gatwick Airport (bus #20, taxi or train to Three Bridges station). We used the stop over day to take the train to Brighton. Would definitely stay again.

good rates if book in advance, even cheaper if you book non-cancellable. Rate included breakfast (basic but OK). Location brilliant for wedding we were attending at a Church in Crawley Down & Wakehurst place reception (4 miles either way) we stayed for 2 nights. Child friendly. Shame this hotel does not qualify for hotels.com stay 10 nights get 1 night […] free programme. Also sure breakfast previously used to include bacon (sausage,scrambled eggs & beans and toast offered) and cheese but not here or maybe no HI express anymore. Breakfast servery area was rather chaotic and got very crowded with a lot of confused guests not sure where to queue and for what. Breakfast staff looked harrassed but were very courteous and when things ran out they did go and fetch more supplies such as yogurt etc. Also useful is the complimentary free items that you forget to bring, i needed a sewing kit to make a quick repair to my outfit, that was great. Handy for shops and we arrived late (9.45pm) and were able to get a meal at the Harvester just a short walk across the car park, so overall pleased with our stay and would use this hotel brand again. IMHO better value than a travellodge which was a similar price. Les mer

This hotel is very well situated. It is very close to the town center and by taxi about 12 -15 minutes to Gatwick Airport. The train station was also very close by (we arrived by train then took a bus from outside the train station which put us right outside the hotel). We stayed for one night, three persons in a room. The beds were quite adequate but […] the space was a bit tight for our luggage, however, it was only one night and we managed quite well. The breakfast was good - standard eggs, sausage, toast, beans, cereal, fruit, pastry, hot beverages and juice. It was filling enough - no complaints there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We got to the hotel early, and though they do not facilitate early check-in, we were able to leave our luggage in a storage area while we walked to the town center (buses were available but it is about an 8 minute walk). All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend Holiday Inn Express-Crawley to anyone - short stay or otherwise. Les mer

We stayed here before getting a 6.30am flight from Gatwick. its an excellent modern and good value hotel. I would stay again.

Good location, 10-15 minutes from Gatwick. New build so excellent condition, very clean and functional, free parking. Great value.

The only hotel in the area that doesn't have shuttle service from the airport. However, very nice hotel & once I got there was very happy with the stay!

Good value, relatively new hotel in good condition with freindly, helpful staff perfect for a quick overnight stay.
