Nice new hotel. Good breakfast as well as a decent indoor pool.

Our stay was nice. We always stay @ HIExpress when traveling because they're always so comfortable and u know what ur getting. However, it did seem for the first time ever, their breakfast wasn't up to the normal HIExpress standard. But even with that being said, we would still stay there again.

Excellent room and warm staff. If I ever head that way again I will stay there.

This hotel left much to be desired. The staff was either unavailable or, when available, surly and rude. The key cards rarely worked, which meant that I had to return back to the hotel lobby almost every time just to get the cards re-coded. The desk clerk never offered an apology or a smile. The sheets were thin and stained. The room was dark and uncomfortable. […] Check-in was problematic in that they had another person's credit card and address on my reservation. I just discovered that there were problems with check-out as well, which will necessitate me spending some time on the phone trying to clear up the billing issue. Next time we stay in the area, we will definitely find a different and better hotel. Les mer

The breakfast buffet was very adequate. Enough of everything for everybody.. Very new hotel. Everyone was so accomadating..

Everything was solid about the hotel, except it was in a fairly run down area, no good restaurants within easy access and main attractions were not close by. We selected it because of proximity to the SHSU campus, and the truth is that although it is relatively close, it is a winding, busy circuitous drive, and we had GPS...

This hotel is fairly new and the rooms are larger than most. The decor in the rooms is stylish and functional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located just off of I45 and close to Sam Houston State University. I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

This is a fairly new hotel and this is my second stay. The staff is extremely friendly the accomodations are clean and well maintained. My son will be attending college there and I will stay here on future visits.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was basically clean, however the carpet was a little threadbare in places. The mattress was distressingly firm-we did not sleep comfortably any night we were there. The complimentary breakfast was good although there was inadequate seating, we had to eat in our rooms two out of four mornings.

As it so happened, the evening I stayed there was a group of high school athletes that were staying as well. It was 11:00 p.m. and the kids were still up, running through the hallways, and letting doors slam all up and down the hall. When I called the front desk for help, the young man suggested I poke my head out the door. Um... no. He decided he would […] call the coach instead. I thought that was a better idea, too. Les mer

This hotel in nearly brand new. Everything was immaculate. Very pleasant stay.

The room was very nice and so comfortable. The only thing that needed work was the bathroom door: it did not close correctly and could not be locked, but hey, no big deal considering all the other super nice things the room/hotel offered. Great Hotel, very clean, nice breakfast!

No complaints about the room, but the signage at the hotel driveways is very poor, especially at the front entrance. It is very east to run past the front drive entrance, since the hotel sets off of the freeway some 75 yards.
