Hadde et veldig trivelig opphold. Generelt godt fornøyd med hotellet som hadde et flott badeannlegg. Også positivt at det gikk gratis buss til The Strip hver halvtime. Turen tok kun 15 min. På den negativ side må det sies at det ikke var rengjøring eller bytte av håndklær hver dag som på vanlige hotell (1g på 7 dg), men man kunne ringe og få rene håndklær i løpet av dagen. I tillegg var det stusselig hvis man var uheldig og trakk det korteste strået og måtte ligge på sovesofaen. Den var ikke god å ligge på, og ødela veldig mye på helhetsinntrykket av et ellers supert hotell. Gjør også oppmerksom på et ekstra gebyr pr dag som kommer i tillegg til alt annet.

Rent, pent hotell (laminat på gulvet og ikke teppe!), helt greie rom, raske heiser. Fordums 50-talls storhet med Flamingoer i bakhagen. Enkelt, greit og billig hotell. Det er dessuten ikke så stort, så du bruker ikke lang tid fra resepsjonen og opp til rommet (andre hotell kan det jo ta 10 minutter).

Hadde rom med utsikt til fontenen, og kunne skru på tv-kanal for å høre musikken på rommet. Morsomt, men fontenen er flottest fra bakkenivå. Bra rom, men virket litt gammeldags. Hyggelig betjening og positiv service. Fikk aldri med oss buffeten pga lang kø, men det finnes flere hyggelige og bra spisesteder på hotellet. Alt i alt; Deilig luksusfølelse til en hyggelig pris.

Hotellene på The Strip har stort sett god kvalitet. Vi valgte akkurat dette hotellet fordi prisen var god og fordi det ligger midt på the Strip (har bodd på andre hoteller i utkanten av The Strip tidligere - og da har det blitt mer trasking). Hotellet er bra, og har ingen problemer med å anbefale dette, selv om jeg ikke er sikker på at vi velger det neste gang (er mange bra hoteller i området). Veldig fin utsikt fra de rommene vi fikk :-)

Allerede fra start, fikk vi en flott mottagelse. Vi hadde bestillt IKKE RØYK. Hotellet beklaget at til den prisen vi hadde bestillt var alle "ikke røyk rom" opptatt. Men de tilbø oss umiddelbart et rom på "diamond floor" som erstatning. Hotellet ligger litt tilbaketrukket fra Stripa, og dermed unngås mye støy, men du mister ikke utsikten. Frokosten som var inkludert var god, men kunne vært litt mere variert. Eneste man kan utsette på, er at det er vegg til vegg teppe på alle rom. Men det er det så og si på alle hotell i USA, med noen unntak. Det positive er at det ligger tilknyttet til hotel PARIS, meget positivt. Rabatt kuponger var det masse av, som fungerte på det meste av opplevelser som:Show, utflukter, barer, resauranter, m.m.

Take a break from the casino action and check out the Fremont Street Experience, right outside the hotel doors. Twelve million LED lights and a 550,000-watt sound system power nightly sound-and-light shows on this 5-block, pedestrian-only stretch of Fremont Street. Shows take place from dusk to midnight. Day and night, the street hosts live music, classic-car displays, and holiday festivals---and pedestrian traffic overflows into the Golden Nugget.
Also on the show scene is impressionist, singer, and entertainer Gordie Brown, who takes the stage 5 nights a week. Brown is best known for his comedy and impressions of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Nicholson, and Sylvester Stallone, as well as Las Vegas icons like Elvis Presley and Sammy Davis, Jr.

The $30 million pool complex the Tank includes a shark tank, a 3-story enclosed waterslide that zips you through the tank (safely), and 13 private cabanas (surcharge). At the 3rd floor of the Tank, the Hideout offers an escape for guests 16 and older. Here, you can swim in the 2-story infinity pool, or sprawl out on a chaise longue (surcharge) and catch some rays. Grab a cocktail at the H2O Bar, or create your own private party by renting a poolside cabana. The pool is open mid-morning till mid-evening. Hadde forventet meg et mye mer slitt hotell. Dette var topp moderne. Hadde først bodd 2 netter på Ceasar's på the strip, og så 4 netter på Tuscany Valley. Dette sto ikke i dårlig kontrast til disse.Artig badesklie hvor du sklir gjennom et haiakvarium
"Greit hotel i en dårlig lokasjon"
Hotellet er helt greit men ikke mer. Til sammenlikning er kvaliteten er ganske lik et av de mer slitte hotellene på stripa (Flamingo, Harrahs, Bally's). Problemet er at det fryktelig lite å ta seg til down town, og man ender opp med taxi overalt. Vil ikke anbefale å spise på GN. Frokosten der er forsåvidt ok, men kostbar (ender fort på 25$).
Svært bra hotell, god service. Kan anbefales! Går buss rett utenfor hotellet som gfører til sentrum.
Not well cleaned room. Shower best equipped for those no higher than 5'' (150 cm). No fridge in room. Many smokers at gambling area. Expensive to rent a rest chair at the pool area. At a 4 star hotel chairs definately should be included. I have stayed at better 3 star hotels than this 4 star hotel.

Et typisk litt gammelt casinohotell med enarmede banditter, poker, crap og annet som hører til. Spektakulært gateshow utenfor. Ikke spis der, gå heller diagonalt over gaten til nabohotellet (Fremont hotel), der er det mange bra restauranter. Jeg tror ikke Nevada har noen røykelov, det røykes også innendørs.

Old school when it is at its best ! Why stay on the Strip when you can stay down town, the perfect Las Vegas experience. Recommend you stay a few nights down town and the rest on the strip.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Close to a lot of things to do all night long. Beautiful huge pool and fish tank that was a fun time. The only thing was they said over size shower and tub but it was a basic shower tub combo. Hotels usually give you complimentary coffee in your room but here they charge you 10 dollars for 2 cups. "Customer service is not a priority here..."
First, I paid for an upgraded suite in the recently renovated Rush tower. The room is decent, but not worth the extra expense. I visited my cousin's room in the Carson tower (lower rates) only to discover that the rooms are not terribly different. In fact, he had a much better view and a quieter stay. If that's not bad enough, the maitre d' (named Blaze) […] at the Grotto was extremely pompous, pretentious, and rude. Plus, many if our party had different rooms in the Rush tower. After the maid cleaned the room, our cards stopped working. Hotel management tried saying that we demagnetized the cards with our cellphones; yes, the six of us managed to demagnetize our room cards with our cellphones at roughly the same time. I guess we're gifted that way and the basic laws of probability don't apply to us. But hey, mistakes happen, right? My issue is that hotel management was patronizing and rude in handling these matters. So, if you hope to receive good customer service for your money, you may want to reconsider your accommodations and avoid the Golden Nugget!!!! Les mer
My stay was great the hotel is beautiful the room was great. We had 3 people stay in our room our only complaints is that they never gave us 3 glasses to use, they never replaced the coffee cups so we ran out of cups the blow dryer wouldn't work on high if you used it on high it would turn off and I would have to wait to turn it back on or use it on […] low/med. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there and outside of those little quirks we would stay there again. Les mer

Overall the hotel and the service was very nice, but there didn't seem to be any perks or deals. They even charge you for the in room coffee. Never had to pay for that before! Ever!

Checking in was quick and customer service very nice...they checked us in early no problem! Rush Tower was booked, so we stayed at the Carson Tower. I was very pleased with the room...the bed...the best I've ever slept in as far as hotels. I couldn't believe it... Food was excellent...ate at the Grotto and the Grill! Didn't get a chance to try the sushi […] place...but will definately next time. Pool was great..always entertained by the sharks and fish.. and the slide a lot of fun. Was able to find a chair fairly easy. People staying there all seemed very nice as well.! Will definately come stay again! Played a lot of video poker and the bartenders were great! Always checking your drink and giving refill if needed! Love the Golden Nugget! Les mer

"Kid friendly"
Our first stay here and we had our three kids, 8,10,&11...they absolutely loved the pool , and so did we. They were able to swim while we got some play time at the card tables thereThe room was very big and was a perfect fit for all of us. The room was also very clean and up to date. I was very satisfied. The one thing I would like to see change is […] the check in wait line. A bit long but for the great service it was well worth it!!! Vegas is not a place for kids but this hotel made it a nice stay for us and the rate was awesome. Lots of choices for breakfast lunch and dinner within walking distance, and souvenir shopping at great prices right downstairs.. Les mer

We had a great time. We weren't too pleased with the over crowded pool. Apparently in order to go to the "adult only" pool, you have to have reservations so be prepared if you don't want to be surrounded by kids.... EVERYWHERE! Also if you want coffee in the morning, bring your K-cups. It is a Keurig machine BUT you have to pay $10.00 for 3 K-cups. […] We stayed here previously so knew ahead of time to bring them. Hotel and facilities were great. Room had plenty of space and was nicely furnished. Good facilities with shops and restaurants within the complex. The hotel was a long way from the strip and the rest of the night life.

would be better if customers made aware that a reservation is not guaranteed unless you buy vip pkg.....also had problem cashing out chips because of one person shooting the sxxx. had to complain and got my chips cashed at a supervisor desk...line was approv 30 deep and waited at least 20 minutes...never seen this before at any casino

Although this may be one of the cleanest hotels in Fremont I was'nt all that impressed. The food was bad, I did like the pool area. We checked in and a few hours later I discovered the shower did not work, we called the front desk and they were not very helpful in trying to fix it. They wanted to give us a discount on the room for the shower not working […] which we refused . We asked to be moved to another room with a working shower and they wanted to charge us for THEIR shower not working! We did ask to speak with a manager and they eventually moved us to another room but it must not have been cleaned too well because the bathroom reaked of urine. I didnt feel like going through another hour long argument to be moved again and since it was only a one night stay we just didnt use the bathroom unless we really needed to. All in all the casino and pool area are nice, the service and rooms are not all that impressive. Les mer

I stayed in the Rush Tower and the rooms are wonderful. Big bathroom with robes, slippers, nice TV, sitting area, and lots of space. Very quiet at night but only a short walk to the excitement on Fremont St. One gripe I had was a lack of electical outlets. I had to iron my shirt in the bathroom because there are no outlets in the bedroom/living room […] area. Odd. The Italian restaurant, Grotto, was perfectly decent and had a reasonable price. This hotel is not really family orientated. I have a 9 and 11 year olds and there was little to do for them at this hotel. We ended up staying an extra night but booked it at a place with more kid friendly amenities and it cost less.

Loved it. Can't wait to go back. No need to leave the hotel. Everything was there. Great dinner at the chart house with awesome bartender from Jersey.
There is nothing negative I could say about this hotel. I always enjoy my stay at the Golden Nucket. This year I booked a room for my mother and seperate rooms for my two brothers. I was able to request-in-advance, a disabled/handicap room for my brother and a little scooter to assist with his mobility. "Nice place to stay on fremont."
If you are going to stay in the fremont and not go to the strip the hotel is nice. Rush tower rooms are big and plush. The italyan restaurant there is expensive and the food was okay. I would definitely stay here again.
