Stayed at the Nugget for 3 nights. Very nice and clean hotel away from the strip. Good value for money.

Vat greit med gåavstand til knotts berry farm og til butikkar som wallmart, og flere spiseplasser. Bussen går like utforbi, hvis en vil til universal studios eller seaworld. Det går også gratis buss til Disney. God frokost. Litt lite og inngrodd basseng.

Dette hotellet ligger velding sentralt midt i Freemont street. Fint basseng med vannsklie. 5-10 minutter med taxi til sentrum av The Strip.

Hadde forventet meg et mye mer slitt hotell. Dette var topp moderne. Hadde først bodd 2 netter på Ceasar's på the strip, og så 4 netter på Tuscany Valley. Dette sto ikke i dårlig kontrast til disse.Artig badesklie hvor du sklir gjennom et haiakvarium

Hotellet er helt greit men ikke mer. Til sammenlikning er kvaliteten er ganske lik et av de mer slitte hotellene på stripa (Flamingo, Harrahs, Bally's). Problemet er at det fryktelig lite å ta seg til down town, og man ender opp med taxi overalt. Vil ikke anbefale å spise på GN. Frokosten der er forsåvidt ok, men kostbar (ender fort på 25$).

Svært bra hotell, god service. Kan anbefales! Går buss rett utenfor hotellet som gfører til sentrum.

Not well cleaned room. Shower best equipped for those no higher than 5'' (150 cm). No fridge in room. Many smokers at gambling area. Expensive to rent a rest chair at the pool area. At a 4 star hotel chairs definately should be included. I have stayed at better 3 star hotels than this 4 star hotel.

Et typisk litt gammelt casinohotell med enarmede banditter, poker, crap og annet som hører til. Spektakulært gateshow utenfor. Ikke spis der, gå heller diagonalt over gaten til nabohotellet (Fremont hotel), der er det mange bra restauranter. Jeg tror ikke Nevada har noen røykelov, det røykes også innendørs.

You can't go wrong staying at Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas, the rooms are clean, the food is good and the pool is great. Gaming is always nice there too, good table games at very affordable prices with excellent service. I've always wanted to stay at GN in my previous trips and finally did it, I wasn't disappointed . Thanks !

The rooms were nice for the price, and housekeeping did well. Many small maintenence things to be picky about (lights out in elevators, dingy carpets.) Freemont experience is ok, lots of gambling if you like that, food options are not the greatest quality or value but downtown location and easy to use duece bus make this stay worth the low price. Best […] parts: Swimming pool was lots of fun, and the poker players like to give money away around midnight. Far better than most casino's on the strip for half the money. Freemont street is a blast and you don't feel like you are trapped in a cassino rat trap.

Overall the hotel was OK, Carson Towers are showing their age. We've stayed here.. many times... will probably stay again, only because it's a good location.

First time at this hotel. The room in Rush tower was pretty good but bathrooms pretty odd and did not like the high step in bath tub to shower. The pool area is strange with beds lined up touching each other in long rows. As people were allowed to smoke in this area it was pretty horrible having to put up with them being so close (the area was packed […] so pool beds at a premium). The staff around the pool were mostly rude. Location of the hotel is right on Fremont street so pretty good for that area. However, the area surrounding is not nice, we were advised not to walk too far from the hotel. Les mer

We do Vegas at least once a year and I love the old Vegas better than the newer Vegas. Staying at the Golden Nugget is my preferred choice. The rooms and service are great, the beds are the best in ALL of Vegas, the restaurants are superb, the slots are looser than any other, and the location is perfect. There is no other place to be than on Fremont […] Street at night with the canopy lit up every 15 minutes and the live bands that play till 1:00 am every night. Can't wait to go back! Les mer

Great hotel. Felt like a luxury hotel on the strip. I wanted to stay to enjoy the nightlife on Fremont Street. OMG the pool was awesome. My kids loved it and was the highlight of the whole trip. We will definitely recommend to all. Hotel was very clean, classy, and gave it an A+.

Everything was nice except for rude employees, especially valet parking. The ONLY pleasant employee was the lady that checked us in. Pool was fun.

Great stay. Carson Tower a little more worn looking, but age does that to everything and everyONE. Love people watching on Fremont Street. Good times!!

This was our first time on Freemont Street. We normally stay on the Strip hotels,( Mandalay Bay).We were pulled in on this Hotel because of friends we were traveling with. The problem is with the area, Bums everywhere .We must have been asked 50 times for money, on the street, and the hotel public area. Freemont street is like a zoo, we saw everything […] you can imagine walking on the street.(although there were plenty of cops on the street).But, once you walked up and down Freemont, that's it. Nothing left to do, you stopped at all the trinket shops. Walking off Fremont street to neighboring streets is a big mistake .It's a ghetto, with someone watching you from every dark corner. It made us feel uneasy. One plus for the hotel, the restaurants were quite good, some of the servers were a bit underexperianced. Pool was so small, we could never find a place to sit.(too crowded)One other tip ,we stayed at the Rush Tower. The rooms in the front can be quite noisy. Bands playing until 1 am. We had to change rooms after the first night,we could not sleep. Les mer

I found it odd not having a fridge in the room and no free coffee or tea. Getting to the room is a hazard for non smokers. You need to have a shower soon as you get to your room because of the smoke.

We have stayed in the past and enjoyed it. This was the first time we ate at the buffet and I was very disappointing. We had to clear our own table because the wait staff was not attentive and the buffet was almost empty. The food was not very good and the cost was high. We may stay again, but will not eat at any of the restaurants.

Nice hotel, probably the best one in "old vegas". It doesn't compare to the actual strip but there are no resort fees to pay which will save you about $15-$20 a day. I would stay on Fremont street area, rest of area gets sketchy.

The Place Was Very Nice And The Water Slide Was A Blast , 12 of Us went Down It Probably 20 Times And We Are 28-72Years Old. And They Had a Case Special $95 For 24 16 oz. Cans By The Pool.

Loud, restaurants were open areas off casino. Was impressed with how little cigarette smoke there was in the casino. Pool area was a feature. Coffee pot in room cost $10 to use - ridiculous. Liked size and style of in-room safe.

Our stay was good. The location on Fremont St is ideal and the facility is well maintained and clean.There is a nice pool with a slide through the shark tank. I would stay here again. The one big drawback for us was that the WiFi was expensive - most places these days include it in the room rate. Overall our experience was positive.

This was my first time staying at the Golden Nugget. We stayed there based on rave reviews from friends. We normally stay on the strip so the Golden Nugget was a nice change of pace!! The hotel was clean, rooms were clean and the service was awesome. Their buffet is really good, crabs legs, fresh meat, etc. Most important, their pool was amazing...a […] 360 pool with a huge shark aquarium that a 2 story water slide goes through. The pool was low stress, I have been to other pools in Vegas where too much security made me feel tense and uncomfortable...not the case here! The only negative is they need more chairs for guests. If you don't get to the pool early you won't get a chair. Freemont St is right outside the hotel so that was a plus. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel!! Les mer

A very beautiful hotel! I can't think of any complaints that we could've had during our stay. Very clean, very cozy, quiet, beautiful pool, and wonderful location.

Happy with my stay at the Golden Nugget. The rooms have been redone, syated gold tower, nice big,clean room. Pool was great, downside very hard to get a seat. Have to be there real early am or late afternoon. Service at the Grill was very slow,only 1 person working the front, to much for him. Great free shows at night on freemont street.

Location was perfect we had a great time on fremont st but the hotel sucked it looked great when we first walked in but i booked a king bed and they would only give me 2in doubles unless i payed 30 dollars extra when we got there the room was got was dirty smelled stale and both the toilet and sink were clogged there were cigarette butts on the floors […] in the hallways and they charged so much to use the ammenities in the room that i was nervous so open the soap for fear ir being charged for it Les mer

We stayed in the Palor Suites. Great room. It is basically two gold tower rooms, with one room being a king room and the other is a living room with table and chairs, TV, couch and wet bar with fridge.
