Hadde et veldig trivelig opphold. Generelt godt fornøyd med hotellet som hadde et flott badeannlegg. Også positivt at det gikk gratis buss til The Strip hver halvtime. Turen tok kun 15 min. På den negativ side må det sies at det ikke var rengjøring eller bytte av håndklær hver dag som på vanlige hotell (1g på 7 dg), men man kunne ringe og få rene håndklær i løpet av dagen. I tillegg var det stusselig hvis man var uheldig og trakk det korteste strået og måtte ligge på sovesofaen. Den var ikke god å ligge på, og ødela veldig mye på helhetsinntrykket av et ellers supert hotell. Gjør også oppmerksom på et ekstra gebyr pr dag som kommer i tillegg til alt annet.

Rent, pent hotell (laminat på gulvet og ikke teppe!), helt greie rom, raske heiser. Fordums 50-talls storhet med Flamingoer i bakhagen. Enkelt, greit og billig hotell. Det er dessuten ikke så stort, så du bruker ikke lang tid fra resepsjonen og opp til rommet (andre hotell kan det jo ta 10 minutter).

Hadde rom med utsikt til fontenen, og kunne skru på tv-kanal for å høre musikken på rommet. Morsomt, men fontenen er flottest fra bakkenivå. Bra rom, men virket litt gammeldags. Hyggelig betjening og positiv service. Fikk aldri med oss buffeten pga lang kø, men det finnes flere hyggelige og bra spisesteder på hotellet. Alt i alt; Deilig luksusfølelse til en hyggelig pris.

Kjempefint hotell, lite butikker på selve hotellet, mange av se store hotella her har egen handlegater. Ellers var det et passelig stort casino. Vi brukte litt tid på de andre hotella også, for å få sett mest mulig. Stort minus at det er lov å røyke inne, så selv om de har røykfrie rom, så er det en ein av røyk i casinolokalet og restaurantene. Men sånn var det på de andre hotella vi var på også! Veldig kult at hotellet ser ut som en del av Paris, alt fra gulv til tak (himmelen), eiffeltårnet og triumfbuen, lyktestolper og skilt, og fasader inne. Hotellet er greit som utgangspunkt for Vegas, det ligger midt i sentrum, men om man vil ha alt på ett sted er nok andre hotell mer passende.

Loved it! Great location and in addition great room.
You can tell that the hotel was recently remodeled, but they could have put a little more work in the rooms. Everything looked nice and modern, but the light in the bathrooms vanity area didn't work. We only got HOT water in the sink, which was barely more than a dribble, and the water pressure in the shower was pretty poor as well.

It was really nice but when they say smoking they really mean smoking.lol. The room was really comfortable. I just wish the bell hop was a little faster I had to take all my bags down by myself after waiting 20 minutes. But over all it was a good experience .

"downtown las vegas is looking up"
the plaza was beautiful. it used to be a very plain old hotel and casino. the room was as nice as any. the casino renovation is really sharp too.we stayed there on the weekend because the strip hotels were so expensive and planned on taking the bus to the strip, but spent more time downtown than on the strip

We were amazed to find out internet service was not included room rate. Not competitive with other hotels in the Vegas area. As well, the hotel was not forthcoming with information regarding parking. Luckily we found the correct garage, but unfortunately it was full later that evening. We took a guess on alternate parking. "Close to where we needed to be"
We enjoyed it. It was right across the street from Freemont Street Experience which offered something for all ages. It had its own casino, restaurant choices so if you didn't want to leave, you did not have to. It is a very clean and comfortable place. I would definitely stay here again.

For an older hotel and casino it is passable. The rooms are newly renovated, spacious however not well maintained (chipped paint - broken lamp). The ac units are noisy and walls are quite thin. Not well thought out in terms of practical - there are no full length mirrors in the rooms and bathroom is very small. The air quality in the casino is quite […] poor - very smoking. "Comfortable bed, spacious room"
My husband and I spent one night at the plaza hotel. The size of the room was a pleasant surprize. There were three different sitting areas, a chair with a side table, a desk area and a couch near the window. The decor was very modern and all the carpeting throughout the hotel was new. The bed was extra large and very comfortable. I loved the food options […] the hotel offered and that it was not a far walk from the elevators to reach the food court, the general store, or the cupcake shop...yum! It was convient to exit hotel and be at the end of fremont street. We would definately stay at this hotel again. Les mer

It was a nice hotel, very conveniently located, and comfortable. It was right off the strip, which made the driving and parking a lot easier. I love Vegas, but it can be overwhelming at times. This hotel is well located to help you unwind a little, then jump back into the fast track of the city.

"Enjoy Fremont Experience without the crowd"
Room was very clean and spacious. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Location is at the end of Fremont Street Experience so just have to walk across the street but not fighting the crowds or noise. Looking forward to returning when able to stay more nights.

The hotel room was well decorated, very clean, and spacious. We had an excellent view. The bathroom was rather small, but the facilities were modern and in good condition. Staff was helpful and the hotel resources (restaurants and bars) were great.

"Ok hotel, horrible service"
The hotel itself was fine, with big and clean rooms and nice reception area. The problem was the stuff working there... To do the checkin we had to wait over 40 mins, with only one a single person in reception to attend all the new guests. The first night there we decided to go down to the bar in the casino to have a drink. We sit down on the bar area […] and my fiancée asked for a coke, she was inmediatly asked to show an ID or asked to leave inmediatly. She is 27 and I agree that they should ask for ID if you look young, but she definatly doesnt look that young and she just wanted to have a coke. After explaining the waitress that we were guests at the hotel and we just wanted to have a non-alcoholic cold drink before going to sleep and her passport was in the room, she threaten us to call the security if we were not leaving inmediatly!! UNBELIEVABLE! we will definatly not be coming back to this hotel! Les mer

Perfect for me! I checked in, and was very happy to see my comfortable room. The pool only stayed open till 5pm, which I thought was strange. But, it was outside, so I guess it gets cold at night. Either way, I slept peacefully. There's a casino downstairs, so you don't have to go far.

we stayed only a night. We slept there for the night. Staff were very friednly and courteous. Condition of the room could be better. it was clean but maintenance (e.g. bathtub is old) could be better.

"Favorite Place to Stay!"
Very affordable hotel and casino. Love the location and the remodeling. Quick walk to anywhere downtown. Oscar's food is delish .... Will stay there again!
Strange smell through the lobby, and not the best restaurant choices - the pool could also have longer hours, but otherwise very good for the price.
"Conveniently located for Fremont Experience"
The hotel is at the end Fremont Street and when you leave the hotel - the Fremont Experience is laid out before you. We enjoyed staying off the strip this time and taking in what Downtown Las Vegas has to offer. If you are looking to spend all your time on the strip this hotel is not for you but for what we wanted to do it was perfect. The restaurants […] within the hotel are excellent - we tried them all!!!!. The hotel has been recently renovated and if we have to make a comment it would be that our room needed another chair - the desk chair was okay but a comfy chair to relax in after a day of walking would have been perfect. Also our floor lamp had a broken base which made it hard to turn on and off without it falling over. The rest of the room decoration was very tastefully done and the beds were super, super comfy. We had a few questions for the conceige and found that the 11 am start time was a bit late in the day for our questions to be answered when we were planning our day. We had a great time in Vegas. Probably we'll book this hotel again because is nice, clean and has easy access to the parking and also and very important for a great price!

If you're not familiar with Vegas, the Plaza can be a bit hard to find while driving, otherwise, it's not that bad: just go to the end of Freemont Street. The entire downtown experience has deteriorated over the last several years. Basically, it's now where all the drunk blue-collar folks go to party, so expect to see lots of long plastic drinks and […] plastic beads and penny slot machines if you stay there. A taxi to the upper hotels on the strip will cost you about $22 from the Plaza (as of April, 2012). The Plaza has good security, but neither closet nor ironing board nor coffee machine. Les mer
"Great alternative to the strip"
This was a great place to stay. I would stay here again. If your a smoker feel bad for you. All rooms are sealed. No windows to open, smells really bad and very smokey.

The plaza was a very nice place to stay. Check in was my only complaint. Only one lady working and took about an hour. Other then that, no complaints at all. I will be staying here for all my visits to Las Vegas.

Awesome location and free parking. However, the water in the shower was lukewarm while the sink was boiling, extra charge for Internet, and the bathroom was extremely small (barely enough room to open the door without standing in the shower).

Stayed 4 nights. Nice rooms as this hotel has had a recent renovation. Excellent location for Freemont Street. Had a problem with our backs due to the beds being extremely hard. Elevators are hit or miss for working in the south tower. I got nervous with this and reported this to them although it never seemed to get fixed. You would push to go to the […] ground floor( we were on 12th floor) and end up on another floor ( sometime we ended up on 20th floor) Also the elevator wouldn't open at times when this happened and when it did I was quick to get off of them.This happened on two seperate elevators.They said they would check into this but never followed up with me.Would I stay there again yes for the price yet maybe not because of the elevators. Our only complaint was the room keys seldom worked, so we had to go back downstairs to the lobby to have them re-keyed which was a major inconvience if you were in a hurry.
The Hotel was much better than the last one we stayed at. We will book your hotel again next year.
"A True Fremont Experience!"
If you looking to be close to Fremont street in downtown Las Vegas, how about across the street? That's how's close the Plaza hotel is. we're able to walk Fremont street twice in an hour because the hotel was a cross walk away. The hotel itself is very nice and it was great to see $5 blackjack tables. We had a breathtaking view of the Vegas strip from […] the 19th floor; we even took pictures in front of the window. I only had two issues with the hotel. One, although the room was refurbished, we clearly saw the rooms true age with no ventilation fan in the bathroom and some chipped paint on the doors. Second, the lack of hotel staff around was a challenge to navigate where things were or what was going on at the hotel. It took room service about an hour for us to get our extra towels and a pillow. I had already fallen asleep before room service fulfilled my request. But then again, we had requested the items very late in the night, so it was our fault too. Other that those two issues, this hotel was great and we'll certainly be back. Les mer
