Hotellet i seg selv var flott. Det er rent og ser forholdsvis nytt ut. Det ligger ikke helt ideelt til hvis man skal henge på The Strip, men er billig. De har en resort fee på 15 dollar, men internett er gratis (mange av hotellene uten resort fee charger 15 dollar for internett...). Resepsjonen var litt vel godt skjult - man må et godt stykke inn i hotellet før du kommer dit.

Dersom man klarer seg uten kasino på det egne hotellet, er antageligvis dette den beste hotelldealen du kan få i byen i forhold til pris. Virkelig fresht, og det innfrir på alle områder. Dersom jeg reiser tilbake til Las Vegas, taler alt for at jeg kommer til å velge Trump da også.

"Plaza Vegas"
This hotel is in the process of renewing so some areas might not be up to scratch, but my room was great. The restaurant "Hash House A Go Go" right next to the lobby was pretty awesome. Also the location is perfect if you are in Vegas to be entertained, which you should be! "Very nice!"
Hotel is not what we expected at all. All renovations are modern, super clean and up to date rooms. Upscale steakhouse was great. We would recommend staying here.
the hotel is very old but newly remolded.I guess cause its old it kinda had a smell. It was not a smoke smell it was more like moff balls. Overall it was okay, Very good pricing.

"Downtown Plaza"
I was very impressed with the make over to the plaza hotel. Our room was very nice and the restaurants added were very good. I only had two minor issues. The rooms were a bit noisy and the bartenders at The Swingers Club bar were inattentive. Kokanee on tap was a bonus at the bar. )))))) Already have plans to return.

This Hotel is beautiful, the view is amazing and the staff are very curteous. I loved this hotel and I will be staying again my next visit. great amenities I was very impressed.

Don't miss the Hash House a go-go restaurant located in the hotel. We ordered the dish featured on the man vs. food show. AWESOME!

"Great price, Clean room"
Nothing special but got the room for a great price. Staff nice but maid did not leave new shampoo or soap for three of the four nights and they charge for the internet. Overall though it was a good value.
In Vegas for work, hotel was smokey smelling, even in the non-smoking areas.

Stayed @ the Plaza Hotel in Feb. 2012 and we were so impressed! Due to some of the reviews I wasn't expecting much but the previous bad reviews had to be before they renovated the rooms because it was SO NICE and CLEAN! It was a simple room but decorated very nicely and very new and clean looking! Really nice! We had a fun time listening to their dueling […] piano's in the evening and walking up and down freemont st. since it's in a perfect location. We were extrememly satified with our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to hang out on that end of las vegas! Les mer

"What a surprise.."
I was staying at Terrible's near the strip and was really turned off by the whole terrible experience... I found a similar rate at the Plaza and decided to try it out.. What a great surprise. A really comfortable stay, courteous and helpful staff, a fun casino and a much more relaxed, "up town" feel. I wish I'd tried the Plaza earlier in my stay.. "North Tower"
I stayed on the top floor (21) of the North Tower. What I wasn't told is that the 21 is next to the boiler room. The first night I did not sleep. The second night I was moved to another room but still on the same floor. It was loud but not as loud. Anywhere on the 21st floor expect a bad night sleep. Overall the new Plaza was great.

We always stay down on the strip and haven't ventured up to the Fremont Street Experience Area. Thank Heaven we did! What a great hotel, everything is new and clean, great food, great entertainment and that is all within the hotel.

The Plaza has just refurbished their hotel and for the money it is a very nice place to stay. However, if you ask for some things up front, you will have a much better stay. Unless you plan to be out late every night then stay away from the rooms facing Freemont street on the lower floors. The party goes late into the night and is noisey. Also ask for […] a room away from the elevators. These are by far the noisiest and most annoying elevators on the planet. We wanted a stay on Fremont St, and this was the perfect location! The hotel was great, service was excellent; wish we could've stayed longer!

We requested the south tower 3 months in advance only to be told it was not possible. The updated rooms are very nice, but the sinks are to high and we had no luggage stand to set your luggage on. The hotel is located at the west end of the freamont strip. Room had great view of the actual strip from th 19th floor. Very clean and spacious. For the price you can't beat it. Located 10 minutes north of the strip in downtown Las Vegas.

I live in Vegas and was in-between longer-term high-rise rentals. I decided to check it out since I'd heard so much about the renovation. They acquired the furnishings (at least some of them, that is), from the incomplete luxury Fountainbleau. The rooms are huge, comfy, and have top-of-the-line furnishings. We've staid here several times for our monthly date night, this time we included the kid. She loved it!! Great view of downtown, great restaurants, great atmosphere.

I like my room. It didn't have a great view but the room was neat. It had a flat screen n had HD channel which was great. The parking can improve more plus the valet parking, but I saw sign apologizing about their parking lot which meant a lot cause they did state that they are working on improving it. "Very Nice"
This hotel was recently renovated - it reopened in August 2011. That means, at least for now, it has great rates, and no resort fees (yea!!!). The area leading from the parking garage to the casino is still worn (carpet and walls dirty, etc.) but don't be put off. The rooms are spacious and "brand new". Staff was extremely pleasant.. I thought it was […] a great value for Vegas. It's in the Fremont street area so it's not for those that want the Vegas "Strip" experience unless you plan to drive, but not all of us are in Vegas for the "Strip". Great place to stay if you're going hiking in Red Rock, visiting the Ethel M Chocolate Factory, finding some of the neat shop in Vegas, etc. Les mer

Awesome bang for the buck. I didn't care to stay on the strip this time. Location is on exact end/beginning of Fremont street. Very clean room. Bathroom a bit small but remodeled nicely. Great value. Would definitely stay again. last time I wanted a cheap room I stayed at palace station which was disgusting. Had to be one of the worst nights I've stayed […] anywhere. It was like a tijuana motel. That made me nervous about staying at the plaza, but the room was actually the same as the pictures, no switch-a-rue. ...and it was clean. Les mer

"Terrific Stay"
Recently remodeled---terrific casino and rooms. Very appealing decor. The restaurants---particularly the Hash House a Go Go---was the favorite breakfast place. Good size portions and excellent flavor. Will most likely stay again.

The one thing that hotels never seem to get right is the lighting in the bathrooms. You need to put in brighter lights so women like myself can see to apply their makeup. The lighting is too dark.

I have been coming to the Plaza for the last 30 years and this visit was the worst. The bathrooms are rediculously small and are not built for a lady that has to put on make-up. Having the toilet directly next to the bath tub is not good. You have absolutely no privacy! The Plaza needs to rethink their re-design contractor's plans. I will not come […] back! Les mer
