Vi bodde på dette hotellet i tre netter og har vel sjelden vært på et hyggeligere sted. Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale, og sjarmerende og store rom. Frokosten var veldig bra med hjemmelagede muffins til kaffen. Videre hadde hotellet en hyggelig veranda hvor man kunne sitte og nyte hjemmebakte kjeks og limonade på ettermiddagen. Nær en flott strand og kort vei inn til gågaten i Oak Bluffs - kanskje den hyggeligste byen på Martha's Vineyard. Kort gangvei til ferjestoppet til Cape Cod. Anbefaler alle å reise hit, og håper selv at jeg kommer tilbake engang.

"Mid Cape location with the lowest rates for two!!"

It was my 1st time there on the cape. We had a leaky toliet water on the floor. The refreshments were undesireable. Coffee was awful. I'm not a fusy person, but this was really awful. The room had a musty smell?. But since we were just overnight guests for a my brother's funeral, we put up with it. No sure i would stay again. Sorry but thats the tr […] uth. Les mer

"Small but very clean and comfortable, great staff."
I stayed overnight and I felt very comfortable here. The room was small but very clean, and a great deal for the price. The staff was very courteous and placed me in a room close to the internet signal to accomodate me. I felt welcomed and safe and would definitely stay here again.

"Better than expected but.."
the only issu was the bathroom door. When it was closed the door knob became stuck in a locked postition. Had to almost kick the door to unlock it. Kind of a panic situation. But other than that, I left a note for the maid to let them know. It was room 123. Very very clean, surprizingly clean. Dated yes, but very clean. "Cape Travel Lodge - Rt. 28"
The price was right, the room was adequate for a place to sleep. There were 2 light bulbs out and electrical socket that did not work. The continental breakfast was so-so; White breads, honey buns and two cold cereals. Could have been a little more variety/nutrition.

We needed a place to sleep -- and little more -- while visiting elderly relatives. The room was inexpensive for a reason: it was small, old-fashioned, with minimal amenities (paper cups, not glasses). But the sheets were clean and the towels adequate. The bed was fine. The hotel itself is in bad location for access, road verges in v angle and it sits on top of a hill....extremely hard to access

Hotel was good for the price and in a good location. I'd agree with the 2 or 2.5 star rating. No frills but clean and a good central location if you are day tripping.

"Travelodge West Dennis- A Winner!"
Very clean, safe, well maintained property in a great location for a fair price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy, but everything you need. Would absolutely stay here again.

The people at the front desk very friendly and helpful.Our room was comfortable and clean. We were only there for one night, but I would stay there again. The location is perfect, close to beaches either on the sound or bay side. The pool area is very nice.

When we arrived and saw our room we were dissapointed b/c of how small it was.However they allowed us to upgrade which we were very thankful for. Queen sized rooms very small.Unless there was something we missed ,King size or two doubles the best way to go!!!

In August of 2011 we spent two nights in this motel, which is 2-star. As such, one's expectation has to be scaled accordingly. The location was good, as was the room rate. However, for Friday and Saturday the rate jumps by some 40%, making it less attractive. The major shortcoming will be the lack of internet connectivity in the room. It is an inconvenience […] for those that need it. Continental breakfast comes with the room but the selection was fairly modest. The motel was equipped with an out side pool. The Mayflower beach, on the north side of Dennis, is not far and is one of the best beaches in that area. "Great Value and Clean!"
I had checked reviews on this motel before booking and was very happy to find that the reviews were accurate! Motel is situated in a good location, close to lots of restaurants, etc. Desk staff very friendly & helpful. Room was clean and adequate. We had a room that was about 15 ft from the pool, which was very nice and well kept. Although this is not […] an upper end motel, it suited our vacations just wonderfully! Hotel is extremely out dated. Very old and needs renovating badly. The only two good things were the location and the pool. THAT'S IT!!!

This hotel is on a small piece of property and parking is tight. Breakfast is a joke and it is bagels with NO cream cheese, white bread for toast and small pats of butter. There was a packaged danish but it had no taste. VERY cheap continental breakfast. Rooms are small.

We went over the 4th of July holiday. Their rates were quite reasonable compared to other places. Room was clean, there was a refrigerator, shower water was hot, pool was clean. Walls are very thin; you can hear your neighbors.

"Convenient place to sleep"
Not fancy. Good room (although small), pool looks nice (rained, so I didn't go in), breakfast was not fancy, coffee, toast, cereal and milk, packaged sweet roll, orange drink, no fruit. Office staff were very nice.

as other reviewers have noted, the room was damp, and parking was a nightmare when the motel was full. Having said that, my wife and I were looking for a clean, comfortable place to lay our heads. Warmly greeted at check in.. Room was clean, shower was great--plenty of hot water. The pool was sparkling clean and very inviting. We were attending a wedding in the area and stayed just one night but I would go back again. Front desk was very friendly and helpful when asking for directions and other information. "Awesome Stay at Travelodge"
My girlfriend and I booked a non-smoking room with one queen sized bed and we couldn't have had a better time in the room! The T.V. was in an awkward spot, but other than that everything was great. We had an A/C with heat option as well for when it got colder during the night. It's located directly on Rt. 28 which is right next to a bunch of main attractions […] and gift shops. Our early check-in request (12:15pm) was greatly appreciated, as we had a 2pm wedding in Orleans to attend. For a 1 night stay at the rate we paid, this hotel served us well. The sink needed a bit of Liquid Plumbr to cure the slow drain. I recommend asking for some more pillows to the bed. There were only 2 and no others were found in the room. "Travelodge, West Dennis, MA"
We chose this motel due to the low rate and it being Labor Day weekend. We needed a place to stay overnight because of a wedding we were attending in Brewster, MA. WE were about 15 miles away from our destination, but it was worth it because we were able to get off the Cape more quickly and were away for the hub-bub of the wedding.
The hotel was inexpensive.....not fancy, but clean and the managers were great and helped us find our way around. Easy location. If you're not going to be in your room very much and want a decent place to stay, this works!
The Travelodge hotel has small rooms that are clean. Parking is very dificult to get in and out of especially when the lot is full.

the hotel room was ok for the price. The room was clean but had a musty odor, we brought some room freshners at a nearby supermarket. Parking was very tight and had to park on the opposite side of the building from where our room was, and the side parking lot had a ton of trash along the fence. "Cape Cod/West Dennis Travelodge 7/30/10 YUK!"
Everything was lovely from the outside, and the owners?/managers were friendly and helpful at check-in, but that was the end of anything positive. We stayed at this Travelodge two years ago, and had a few concerns then, but we were overall very pleased, given the price, and great location. Each time, we stayed one night and would not want to stay longer. […] It was a stop-over for us, on our way to a weekly rental elsewhere. We will not be back after this year. As soon as we opened the door, we were hit with a musty wetness. We left the door open in an effort to air things out, but it did not help, and the door certainly cannot be left open indefinitely. The rugs were actually damp. The light switch located between the two beds was missing the knob, couldn't use the light very well. The bathroom light/fan fixture rattled horribly. We traveled with our two young children, and wanted to leave the bathroom light on as a night light, but could not, because of the noise. Also, the bathroom door had to be closed to to be able to use the toilet paper - a problem when the LIGHT IS OFF, so as not to awaken the three other people sharing the room. The shower was not terribly clean, and my husband and I were afraid we would go through the shower floor. If we didn't stand in just the correct spot, the floor flexed terribly. We will NOT be returning, no matter how relatively low the rates are for the area. Les mer
"Cape Cod/West Dennis Travelodge- AVOID!!"
This hotel is more like a 1/2 star. The room smelled of mold and the air conditioner was terrible. The pool was disgusting with lots of bugs floating in it and it's overall in poor shape. The hotel is extremely outdated and not maintained. The beds were horrible too, they need to be replaced. I do not recommend to anyone!!

A ways away from Route 6, beautiful bay view. Building was older but well kept. Only complaint was the lack of usable outlets in the room. We had to unplug the clock to have an available outlet.

1st the parking lot was very small n thank goodness i have small car. 2nd the room was not aired out at all. had to buy some candels to freshen out the place. 3rd the walls are very thin. the people next to us had young kids that woke me up at 6am on a Saturday and when i asked the front desk to ask them to keep the noise down the lady at the desk was […] making just as much noise as the guest. "Best Hotel Experience in a long time"
The service and cleanliness were outstanding. Our trip was last minute and our intentions were to take the kids and enjoy the Cape Cod Rail trail on a few different days. The location was perfect and with much less traffic than hotels nearby. After a couple hours on the trail each day we would enjoy some time in the pool. Very convenient to the Yarmouth and Dennis areas. Right on Rte 28 near Bass River. Short drive to area beaches, like West Dennis and Bass River Beaches. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Very well maintained pool.
"Friendliness of staff"
Manager was wonderful. I had a terrible experience on my flight out and was not ready for anymore conflicts on this trip. She worked hard to make sure that my daughter and I were comfortable for I stay. She checked with us daily to ensure that our needs were met.

Cozy, Comfy, Convenient are perfect words to describe this Motel for a "Caper" to Cape Cod. Service is wonderful and the Staff exceptionally friendly. It has a flavor and an ambience of the Cape.We will return here....again and again!!
