Stort sett bra med tilfredstillende renhold. Bra beliggenhet godt utvalg og et meget fint uteområde. Vennlig service.

Bodde på samme hotellet i Mai 2011, var ikke i tvil når jeg skulle reise nå i November. Anbefales.

Hotel itself is nice but the rooms are small and the bathrooms are very small they need updating before we would stay there again.

The Hotel front desk representatives were horrible rude at check in to myself and others inline. The valet service was very time consuming and rarely staffed properly. The rooms tv and A/C unit both had to be reset multiple times. The shower drain was horrible slow and after about 2 mins. in the shower had 1/4 of the tub full. The middle elevator was […] broken 1/2 of my trip. The sofa in the room was so dirty it was almost black and it had holes in it. I have stayed at Fairfield Inns that were much higher quality than this place! Les mer

Staff was courteous and helpful during check-in. The King room was spacious and clean. The hotel is right on the beach so the views were gorgeous! The location was perfect as there were dozens of dining options and shopping nearby. The hotel is also not too far from the boardwalk/pier amusement area. Enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would stay again. The only concern I had was the wait for elevators, I waited for long points of time waiting for the elevator to arrive only to find it full of people and I had to wait somemore. I was very disappointed in my experience. My "suite" consisted of one room with a couch! For as large as the hotel is you'd think there'd be more than one pool. And when I asked that my food be replaced that the maid threw away that I had left in my room I was argued with and made to feel that I had done something wrong! The Plaza was a beautiful hotel at a great location. The beach was georgous! We had cleaning issues at the hotel....towels not being delivered...not floors or changing sheets. The hotel worked with us to resolve the issue. I would stay again at this location.

The staff was very accommodating giving us an early check in (our room was already clean) and an extra hour before check out at no charge. The pool had a fun daiquiri drinks and food and live music. Very clean. Would suggest going here to friends! Every staff person was very friendly. Loved the valet and bell boy service at no extra charge!

Everything was really nice at the resort, but they really, really, really need more and better elevators. OMG we would wait for ever for one to come and then it would stop on every floor and a lot of people would say when it open - I will just take the stairs lol!!!

The location and amenities are good. There were plenty of chairs at the pool and the pool area was kept up well. The staff was friendly. However, the hotel must have been short staffed because our room was never cleaned before 4pm. The Veranda Lounge was only open 1 out of the 7 days we were there and the service was slow at the hotel restaurant. This hotel-plaza resort and spa is great location to play on the beach and prime area to eat out. The restaurant in the hotel has good food and is not expensive.

The rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are almost impossibly small with pedastal sinks that have no shelf space for anything. That is the biggest complaint about the room. The elevators work - sometimes - but not all the time. The original "ocean view" room we were placed in was low to the ground and so far back to the front side […] of the building there was only about 2% view of the ocean and you had to peer around a large A/C unit (loud one) to see it. On day 2 we did get a higher floor and the view was very nice. Location is great as you can walk to restaurants. If the hotel could just have better maintenance on the elevators and renovate the bathrooms to include more surface space, it would be a fantastic place. Les mer

Hotel was nothing special. Room was dirty and oceanfront room was ok

When we booked it stated River view room! There is not a view of a river it was the street. The room was so loud you could not sleep. The elevators were always broken, we waited 5 minutes for an elevator before check out other times we walked down and up 6 flights of stairs.

This hotel is at a good spot out on the beach, close to everything in Daytona Beach. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable, and check-in was easy. Valet parking comes with the 15 dollar per day resort fee, so that's a nice touch even though I decided to self-park in the garage. The garage is small and cramped though and on the morning I was […] leaving a Daytona Beach cop was in there taking a report as someone apparently had his truck broken into at night. There is no security in the garage so LOCK YOUR CARS. Other than that, the only complaint I had was that the elevators were extremely slow. Overall, not a bad place, but not the Ritz-Carlton either. First, I want to say that, yes, I would recommend this hotel to others, BUT not at the nightly rate I paid. The bed was comfortable but the coverlet had several holes in it and a tear along one of the edges. The balcony door was difficult to open and was actually slightly ajar when we checked in because it wouldn't close all the way. The balcony itself […] had a great view of the ocean with a table and two chairs, but the stucco floors needed some patching. The inside of our hotel door looked like someone had kicked a hole in the bottom of it and the hotel had done a terrible job of patching it up, instead of just replacing the door. The non-slip lining in the bathtub had completely worn away and considering the hotel and what I paid I actually expected a nicer bathroom altogether. I understand it is an older property and that the management company has put a lot of work and money into renovating it, but it doesn't seem like they've done a very good job at keeping up with all the upgrades. Overall, my experience was good: the pool was nice, plenty of chairs for laying out, and the access to the beach was right off the pool deck. But there also weren't any cabanas or chairs for hotel guests on the beach itself - there were rentals for $30/day that consisted of an umbrella and two chairs...I went to the surf shops and Walgreens and purchased those items for less than the cost of one day's rental. So, just a bit of advice to those looking to stay here: bring your own beach front equipment, including towels, and make sure you check the tub lining before getting in to shower. Les mer

It's sometimes a challenge to find a nice hotel in a party town like Daytona, especially during Spring Break. But the Plaza was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful lobby, fine room with a great view, very nice pool area and friendly staff. We were able to relax immediately. We'd come back.

All and all it was fair -was up with the family for an event - stayed two nights. Great location on the beach - hotel itslef needs some work, the beach access was a little unkept and the pool area - while nice - was old the shuffle board space was being used as a staging area - the restatraunt was not worth the money for breakfast. There were spring […] breakers in the area and at the hotel but the hotel seemed to manage them well. Room was clean and well kept but housekeeping around the hotel not so good . Great hotel, very nice rooms and pool but need to add at least 5 more elevators. We literally waited a good 10 minutes to get from our room on the 10th floor to any other place in the hotel being that their are only 3 elevators and they are seriously slow. Would stay here again-especially if they added a few elevators to lower the aggitation of having […] to wait so long. Les mer

This is definately one of the best hotels in Daytona Beach. The service and everything else was wonderful. Even the food and room service was very good. I would recomend the Plaza for anyone visiting Daytona.

the plaza was in the perfect location , walking distance to get to anything i wanted to do . It was also very clean and the service was very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting daytona beach

The reservation was for a oceanview room and it was pre-paid, The room that was assigned to us it was on the ground floor and the view was a wall. After complaining they gave us breakfast for the stay to try to make up for it.

Beautiful Hotel and awesome Spa. The room was Ocean View and it was spectacular!

Room was a closet overlooking the parking lot and a boarded up hotel that was for sale. Yes it was an ocean view room from a very tiny balcony that combined the above noted views. The balcony had a light that could not be turned off. When I asked about it, I was told to put a towel over it if it was bothersome. We were there for our wedding anniversary […] and when I inquired about a change of rooms the desk manager was dismissive and unconcerned. She was also eating at the desk? We tried 3 times to get a missing plate for the micro wave, without success. Checked out early and went to another hotel. Les mer

Although we got checked in early, I requested a queen room and received a double bed room instead. The room was very nice and meet my needs. We did have an issue of insects, moths and roaches! My stay was very nice though!!

My husband and I recently visited the Hotel for a week-end get away. We found the staff excellent the roons comfortable and clean. The location was great we walked to eat and shop as well as night life. The grounds could use a little TLc other wise Great.

Disappointed to find out about the $15 resort fee that was charged. I was never informed. The AC in the room was extremely loud which caused us to raise the volume of the tv which I'm sure the neighbor didn't appreciate.

overcharged for something i did not sign up for. expressed check is a joke, why are you charging someone 15.00 dollars a night additional for lodging at this hotel....never mentioned to me until the morning i checked out. the sliding door to our room was not accessible....room 436 get it checked out.

I read the other reviews and I was somewhat skeptical, but this hotel was awesome! The front desk guy was super nice and helpful, the valet guys were fast and convenient, the location was great, and the food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The rooms were really clean and the beach front view was really nice. We didn't utilize […] the spa at all, so I can't comment on that portion of the hotel, but everything else was top notch, especially considering the awesome price! Les mer

Extraordiary experience! We usually stay at Ocean Walk or the Hyatt but the Plaza met and in some instances, exceeded our expectations. Yhe Staff was excellent.

I enjoy my stay very much. The customers service was above and beyond and I couldn't have asked for a better view. I've already recommended the hotel.

check-in was unacceptable. was told on second day would have to leave because room was not reserved for me. what a joke! will never be back!i front desk personnel very rude!

Older hotel, but nicely maintained. I was surprised that the hotel charged me a resort fee (I thought my payment thru hotels.com covered everything). The restaurant on site had a very good special. The food was reasonably priced, plentiful and delicious.

I was very empress with the overall treatment with this Hotel. Staff was friendly view was great breakfast was excellent. Would recommend this hotel to others.

All amenities were closed that weekend. Probably will not at that property a second time
