Best Western Plus Cascade Inn and Suites - Troutdale

I was there for only one night because I was attending a meeting at McMinnimin's Edgefield that last from Saturday night to Sunday at 4. There were no rooms left at Edgefield and I didn't want to have to drive all the way back to West Linn after the meeting ended on Saturday and come all the way back on Sunday. I was impressed with the size of the room, […] its cleanliness, the presence of a microwave, fridge and coffee maker, the presence of a full hot breakfast Sunday morning and a good-sized indoor swimming pool and decent fitness room. We were in town for a concert, and the whole town seemed to be booked up. As we were in line waiting to check in, I thought two things. One thank goodness I had made reservations months earlier and that the staff was very kind as they turned people away. When we made it up to the front of the line, the two woment working were friendly and smiling, asked […] us questions until they could give us a discount on our rooms (who knew Costco cards could be so cool?), I have got to say just the level of service was wonderful, no rushing us through, always smling, always kind...been a long time since I have delt with people that are not on auto mode. The room was great for the money, hotel was clean. The only complaint that I had was that we were in a room by the janitors closet, and it was loud loud loud really early in the morning. I know that was just the luck of the draw as far as the location of the room. I bet that if we were a few rooms away that it would have been fine, other than that I have to say it was fantastic. We usually stay at Edgefield, but as far as service Best Western Cascade tops them a hundred times over!!! Les mer

We were here, along with a bunch of fellow baby boomers, for the Ringo Starr concert (a short walk away at Edgefield). Breakfast was excellent; free WiFi is a big plus (and makes up for no on-demand movies in room); pool and fitness center were clean and well maintained; quiet rooms; thinking ahead: they have hand rails down the entire hallway on first […] floor. Great Place to stay for the price. Walking distance to Wood Village, easy drive to Vista House and if shopping is your thing, it's close to Outlet Mall. Much less stressful than staying right in the city.

Everyting was as advertised and perfect for a work overnight. Good breakfast, nice fitness room, friendly staff, convenient location. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed there on 10/12/11. The room definitely exceed our expectations. The staff was very helpful suggesting a resturant that we enjoyed very much. The breakfast the next morning was above average. We would recommend this hotel without exception.

Very close to McMenamins Edgefield; we were able to walk to and from the concert. The room was quiet, comfortable and a very good price. Thank you!

I was pleasantly surprised, as I did not expect a "Best Western" to be this nice. Service was top notch, room was very nice, location is only 2 minutes from the freeway, but was very quiet. Breakfast was a nice surprise also. Highly Recommend.

The hotel was very nice with an indoor pool and a full breakfast! Clean and just right for our needs.
