The Trump Taj Mahal Casino featuring Chairman Tower - Atlantic City

We expected sad gambling and tacky maximalism, and that's what this hotel is. You hear the sound of gambling machines and loud pop music everywhere, but that was an experience. Luckily the room was great and spacious in The Chairman Tower which is a quite half of the hotel. The pool didn't open 'til 10 am and was also a dissapoinment.

Fine rom, men litt langt å gå gjennom kasinoområdet for å komme til heisene. God service. Hotellet ligger et lite stykke fra outlet og de andre kjente hotellkasinoene i området. Området rundt hotellet ser noe slitent ut, men dette er vanlig i AC

Mitt rom var litt slitt, men de andre som var med fikk nyere rom. Beliggenheten på hotellet var perfekt. Hotellet har casino, men publikumet var godt opp i årene på dette hotellet.

Rommet var bra. Gjennomsnittsalderen på hotellets gjester var en del høyere enn forventet. Gammelt hotell. Gikk til andre hoteller og uteplasser for å ha det artig.

Et litt slitt hotell men man får det man betaler for. Det hang i gjen gammel røyklukt i heldekkingsteppene. Ellers var det et skikkelig casino-hotell men merkingen inne, som viste hvordan man kom seg til heiser, resepsjon og ut på boardwalken og andre steder var nesten ubefintlige. 74. etasje, sa damen som sjekka oss inn, men heldigvis var det ikke reelt, for etasjenavnene i Chairman Tower fortsetter der Taj tårnet slutter. :-) Rent pent og moderne, romslig rom og bad, da leilighetene også er beregnet for gjester i rullestol. Svær dusj også. Kjekt, lite kjøleskap, og gratis safe inni skapet. Ikkenoe bedbugs å se eller merke. TV […] virket ikke, men jeg fikk straks hjelp av en hyggelig teknikerdame, som fikset problemet, og ga meg nummeret hennes, om hun kunne hjelpe med annet. Er svært fornøyd, og har allerede booket ny ferie i samme tårn i november. Hotellet har Hard Rock café på ground level, og om man velger restaurantens uteområde, sitter man på boardwalk'en og ser på alt utelivet. Anbefaler Spareribs og rosevin. Les mer

Vi var en kompisgjeng på besøk i AC. Vi trivdes på hotellet og det var mye å finne på av gambling osv. Ellers består klientellet av mye "harry" folk, pensjonister og mye annet rart. Moro å oppleve! Kan anbefale hotellet. Billig i forhold til standarden.

loved the view of the boardwalk and surrounding sights. close to other casinos and shopping outlets. room was clean and staff was friendly.

The rooms were standard, and not extremely clean. The woman at check in could not have been more uninviting. If staying in this hotel, pay more for the chairman tower, as the other rooms are outdated. Expected much more from the Trump Taj Mahal. Best part of hotel is Earl of Sandwiches

We really liked this hotel. Lots of food options inside and a fun bar inside the casino with live entertainment! We stayed in the Chairman Tower which was AWESOME! great for the price!

Not much. The hotel has clearly seen better days. There was no map or lay out of the hotel in our room, the ice maker on our floor was broken, and there were pieces of toilet paper on the bathroom floor. The walk from the self-parking garage to the hotel check-in was way too long for the two of us carrying 4 pieces of luggage. And we had to pay $10.00 […] for over-night parking! What a rip! Les mer

Overall I had a fun trip. I stayed 4 nights at the trump taj mahal in the taj towers. Atlantic City is just not what I expected. I figured in May it would be hopping down there but it was a ghost town. Seems like 20-30 years ago it was the place to be. maybe June, July, August, and September is when they get all their action. Best part about the trip […] was winning $3,375 on a slot machine in the first 30 minutes of arrival. Anyways if you like to gamble and get away from everyday life it's a nice getaway. Les mer

My wife and I decided to go down the shore for 2 days. We decided to book one of the suites in the Taj Tower. This is not as nice as the reviews make it out to be. First, the parking garage is far away from the hotel lobby. Check in was fairly quick so I was pleased by that. Here is where the no good things happened. The elevators were loud and shaky. […] One we got to our floor, our suite was located at the end. Guess what we found outside our room? A cart of room service food that was cleaned from another room! That was there for the rest of the night and seemed to have disappeared in the morning at some point. Truly disgusting and smelly. Not what you expect to see when you book a suite. The room itself was rather large. The lighting really was terrible. One of the bulbs in the bathroom was flickering. All I can really say is that next time we will go to another resort. Les mer

Pretty satisfied typical casino resort, it was clean and up to date but impossible to get a drink from waitress, check in fees as expected and five dollar ATM fees. Restaurants were just ok.

I had a really great time. Been home 2 days and i already want to go back. The room was clean and spacious. We stayed in the Chairman Tower with a view of the beach. House keeping service did a great job everyday. We stayed for 4 days. Parking is free for Chairman tower. During the week it was quiet with the everyday gamblers. Friday going into Saturday […] that's when the weekend wave comes it and the whole casino becomes more of a party atmosphere. If you want to relax go during the week. We got a nice mix of relax and party. The pool was great; heated and clean. The carnival is right outside of the casino on the pier at the boardwalk. Restaurants are a little pricey at the hotel, even for stuff like pizza or a sandwich. But the boardwalk is teaming with cheap eats. So you can work this vacation on any budget. Overall it was a lousy experience. Paid for a grand suite which was old and dirty. The furniture was horribly old. The bed was comfortable. There weren't enough towels in the bathroom. The drain in the tub did not work (it actually fell out), and the bathroom didn't drain properly. Someone had put a wash cloth over the smoke detector, and housekeeping […] left it there. Other people on our floor ordered from room service - their trays were still outside 36-hours later. There was no tourist info available in the room. Casino service was horrible - took over an hour for an attendant to get to a slot machine that failed to print a ticket correctly. An hour of lost revenue. On the plus side, breakfast at Plate was above average in quality. Overall, this place was not what one would expect from a Trump property. It looks like 'The Donald' may have given up on this one. Very disappointing, to the point where we left a day early even though we had to pay for that day. Les mer

Great Hotel Period. I spent the weekend there with my girlfriend and loved the room we were in. If you can, stay in the chaiman tower and believe me you will not regret it.

Stay was excellent. No proper 24 hour restaurant open at late hours. Housekeeping woke us up even though DND sign was on the door. Wanted to extend over the weekend but rates were over three times pricier. We shifted next door to Resorts which I must say for the price and room size alone would get 5 stars from me.
