Hotel was under remodeling early and very noisy, dead bugs in room, clogged tub.

Well since the desk clerk gave me 3 separate room keys and each time after i got to the rooms they were already occupied it was a rough start. Then the over room was OK, way too much extra furniture and no room to move, pillows SUCKED. At 7am on Saturday was woken up with automatic nail gun being driven into my outside walls for new stucco work, warning […] would of been nice. Les mer

We ended up staying at a friends house in the area. The room was dirty.

The hotel is denying it, but they have them. If you have to stay here, at least check your room before even taking your luggage in there!

The hotel was very nice inside the rooms...recently updated. There was still exterior painting/ stucco renovation on the exterior. Parking lot spaces were limited and tight. Parking a full size pick-up truck was tough and stuck-out because the parking areas was very narrow. Very convenient to the trade show conference area.

All you can eat breakfast. The waffle maker is awesome! and yea you have to make your own breakfast, such as heat up your own breakfast burritos, but for all you can eat, you cannot pass that up. Cereal, milk, coffee, donuts, bagels, donuts, juices, did I mention waffles? it was pretty darn good! beds were very nice. there was a cricket in the ventilation, […] but I slept through it anyway. website said there was an on site resterant there was not also said there was a lounge there was not there was very few close by resterants unless you wanted to pay $$$$$

The two most important things are the comfort of the bed and the telly. Oh, alright. Number one is cleanliness but that goes without saying. My room was not large but appointed with pillow top mattress, bedding, desk and sofa, and a televsion found in much higher class hotels. The bathroom was actually tiny, but the towels nice and fluffy. I also liked […] the fact that there was hard-wired Internet available in the room and nice people in the lobby. When I checked in, was supposed to have a non smoking room. Manager was able to switch and got a non smoking. He was very helpful. However, my room was very musty smelling. The room was clean, but it had a very bad odor. Complementary breakfast was not very well stocked, tables weren't cleaned and there was no one who was supposed to be doing this on […] duty. The motel was convenient to where I was staying, would not stay there again. This Best Western did not compare to other Best Westerns I have stayed in before. Les mer

market bus comes to adjacent doubletree or anatole. rooms clean and fine. b'fast typical. denny's across the street. easy and cheap. save $80 a nite from the anatole. it's a great downmarket hotel.

It was a nice hotel and I enjoyed it. Since all of my travelling was by cab it was close to the airport, downtown, and where ever I needed to go.

The front desk lady was very enjoyable considereing we came in pretty late. Her customer service was excellent!

Location was fairly convenient to Downtown Dallas. Not sure about public transportation, but taxi fare was fairly reasonable. Quiet location, no highway sounds. Prompt wakeup call.

Was not expecting much from this hotel but upon entering the lobby I noticed how clean and fresh smelling it was. Our room although small was very clean, comfortable and fresh. The bed was so comfy it was hard to get up for the conference we were there for. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even though it was a brief stay, staff was very helpful, the room was comfortable, clean and accessible to everything needed.

I found this location to stay while on a short-notice trip to Dallas on personal business. The staff was all very accomodating, very pleasant, the room was comfortable, the location was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this Best Western and stay there again myself.

If you need a place close to the Hilton Anatole, this one fits the bill. And the staff was friendly and very attentive to my needs. But the hotel is an old property and it shows. They are renovating the rooms with new carpets and paint, which is a help. But the rooms have quirky shapes and windows, and the air conditioning units are noisy. Because […] it is a motel-like setup, many of the rooms have direct access to the outdoors; less secure than up-to-date designs. Some rooms are on an interior corridor, ask for one of those if you're concerned about security. The neighborhood seems to be anchored by the Hilton Anatole, which is a very nice property and conference center. I was attending a conference and it was very easy to walk from the Best Western to the Hilton. There are medical facilities and a trade market nearby, too. Otherwise, the neighborhood is a wasteland, with nothing close by and nothing to walk to. There is a Marriott Courtyard and Fairfield Inn across the street. You might choose those other properties before choosing this one. Les mer

While the front desk staff were good the hotel is being repainted and I was in the midle of it all. The A/C didn't work and the roonm seemed cramped but clean. The biggest issues as I didn't rent a car there was very few choices to eat at night within walking - so th elocation / neighborhood was the biggest issue. I was traveling to Dallas for my nieces surgery, and we were on a budget. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the Scottish Rite Hospital. I wasn't looking for anything special, but what I found was a mess. The room was VERY small, and the bathroom was even smaller. it was very difficult to give my toddler a bath. After being in the room […] only five minutes, our socks were black from the floor being so dirty. The sheets on the bed were stained. and, there were no trashbags in the trash cans. I stayed in the main building, and it was true about the air conditioning, it did NOT work. Not a good thing for being in Dallas. The staff was nice, but I would hope they would invest in new maid service. Was not that impressed. I could handle anything else, but my pet peeve is having a clean room. Les mer

We had a nice time in the hotel,the front clerk was vey nice and helpful, our room was very nice, and very comfortable, and we had all the amenities we could possible want. The complemetary breakfast was great and that started our day in a great way. In the middle of nice hotels this one is not one of them. There was no heat and I hit it on a cold spell. I had roaches in my room, the soap was never filled. I guess they were out. This hotel needs to be about 19.95 per night. 1/2 star. NOTHING LIKE WHAT IS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE

the comp'd breakfast was excellent. the room was excellent. the location to places i needed to go, was within 20 mins either direction. I would stay here again.

Although we had a glitch of a time at check in the room was clean and quiet. The free breakfast was good and the location was great as we were there for market. Our wake up calls were right on time even followed with a follow up buzz! I would recomend this hotel to everyone. I have stayed here multiple time and will do so again!

the beds and breakfast at this hotel were great. the hotel over all was a little run down for a best western. Our main complaint was there was no airconditioning in our room they gave us a couple of fans it helped but not a lot. When I asked how to turn on the airconditioning they asked how I had booked the hotel. I still don't know what difference […] that made to having air but some how it did. Les mer

the room was hot and we could not change the temperature. we had to ask the front desk for a fan. she gave us one.. i had to beg to get her to do something about the temp. we were burning up,, but eventually problem resolved and slept well.. but i had to complain and get upset or else nothing would have been done.. i notive a few rooms down our hall […] with their doors open, i guess they were burning up too?? Our stay there was alright. the staff was really friendly. The room smelled really bad when we arrived. we told them and the next day we didn't notice a smell. We appreciated that. The noise is pretty bad from the outside, we could hear all talking going on while people walked past our room. There was a roach in the shower the 2nd day we were there. […] That was pretty gross. We heard Dallas has a roach problem so we don't know if that's a common problem everywhere. Les mer

Overall it was fine. I was impressed with the free breakfast. They had waffles and sausage, egg and cheese biscuits along with the usual cereal, bagels and fruits. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have any problems while staying there. One interesting thing you might look out for if you have kids, the vending machine downstairs not only […] had candies/chips but also condoms and tampons. I thought it was a bit of an odd combination for a vending machine. Maybe they should have those separate from the other stuff. The hotel was very clean. The pool area was very nice although we didn't have a chance to use it. It's surrounded by other hotels and the neighborhoood isn't bad but just up the street were several pawn shops and bail bondsmen. But we never heard a sound or ruckus and felt perfectly safe driving through the neighborhood at night. Les mer

The Room was old and needs a renovation badly. The bed was so hard it would have been softer sleeping on the floor and the air conditioning was very noisy (had to turn it off).

I should have spent a few more dollars and stayed elsewhere. I could hear the person next door snoring, a band's tour bus pulled in after midnight and between the bus idling outside my door and party above I barely got any sleep. The room was overly done with deodorizer. It was clean but everything felt worn out.

was told the charge did not go through at hotels.com and was charged a second time. Additionally, the air conditioning was not working so it was extremely hot. I don't recommend this hotel. It seems like a place that scary people pay by the week to live at. Not my kind of place.

The location wasclose to everything American Airline Center, Hospital District And Downtown Dallas West End .

Convenient location. Clean place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was quite a bit of road noise, but the others in my group didn't seem to notice it. There is a Doubletree right next door with a bar and restaurant. Denny's right across the street.

We made our reservation for three people with a king bed and a sleeper sofa, but this hotel has no rooms with a sleeper sofa. However they were very accommodating to make sure I was happy and taken care of. The free breakfast was good (not great) but had everything I would need (waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, pastries).
