I have only positive experiences with this hotel. Large nice rooms, very clean everywhere, okay pool outside, very friendly and helpful staff, good service and all at a reasonable price. Only one minute to go to the Frisco Conference Center and 15 minutes to go to the big mall Stonebriar Center. I stayed at this hotel for a week last year and a week this fall, so I know what I am talking about :-)

"Plumbing Problems"
Overall I would rate this hotel as a good deal. It's location is good, the hotel is in good condition, and the price is right. The staff are very nice, and even gave me an extended late checkout. The only complaint I have with the hotel is the plumbing. As I checked in I was told maintenance was in the bathroom of my room finishing up on caulking, and […] they should be gone within a few minutes. That part was true. What I didn't realize or think to check was the plumbing. The next morning I discovered that there was no water to take a shower with. The staff let me use a shower of a room close by, so this wasn't a major setback, but it was surprising. I'm sure this incident was isolated, and would not let it influence my decision to stay here again; only next time I'll check for running water before unpacking. Les mer

Great proximity to Hilton Anatole where my conference was... excellent pricing. Nice room. However, soap must be at a premium at this property. I asked for it twice and never received it in my room. Breakfast was not sparse close to closing time.

The overall room was fine. The bathroom door hit the bathtub when you went in. The second night that we were there it was 85 degrees in our room. We had to open a window. The maintenance man got us 2 fans to use. It was miserable. We would not stay there again

The desk clerk was unable to answer any of our questions about nearby services or attractions, and was not the least bit anxious to help. There were, apparently, no washcloths on the premises, since even when we asked for them, we didn't get them. They lost our HOTELS.COM booking. Luckily, we were able to provide our confirmation copy. We stayed one night at this place on our way to Austin. The hotel is very conveniently located and was very clean. The front desk guy was an older gentleman with a british accent. room was hot and humid.... and smelled horrible.....air conditioning didnt work and the rude staff would not change our rooms......we left to stay at the amazing Double Tree Hilton next door for very little more......the staff there was awesome and the rooms were great!!
"Worst I've stayed at"
The only positive thing I can say is that the room was relatively clean. The room was terribly small. With two queen beds, there was hardly room to move around. The bathroom was tiny. We were unable to find a balance between freezing and scalding in the shower. Then there was the free breakfast. This was perhaps the most disappointing part. There was […] a waffle maker, a few frozen sausage sandwiches, some bread for toast, and a few oatmeal packets. There was some cereal, but the milk smelled funny. Worst of all, the coffee was instant. We sat there for a few minutes, but couldn't stand the coffee. We ended up going somewhere else for breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I will not stay at another Best Western either. Les mer
"Concrete Beds"
The beds were like sleeping on concrete. I had asked the staff twice for foam to add on to the bed or anything. Nothing was done. Had there been another hotel nearby with an available room I would have taken it. Unfortunately, I was stuck there and did not sleep at all. I was up every hour with back spasms and so was my colleague. Neither of us would […] ever stay here again. I was completely surprised as I had never had such an experience at any Best Western ever. The staff said the beds were new was their excuse! I let them know I would have been just as well to sleep on the floor. The last night I couldnt take it any longer and tried to sleep in the chair in the room which was more comfortable than the bed. I am very disappointed with this to say the least. Les mer

"Very pleased with king size bed"
I was in Dallas for the TSA convention and had a very comfortable and quiet room. It was very nice and amienties such as the computer room was nice and helpful the hot morning breakfast was very vey nice waffles and coffee, cereal and juice was excellant the bed was b=very comfortable. When i lost my camera and called back to the hotel manager they […] were very helpful and looked in the toom i had vacate and around the parking lot where i had parked for me Even called me back to report they did not find it. "Run down bathroom"
The best were very comfortable, but the bathroom seemed run down and not very clean. The breakfast was not very good either. Just breads, waffles and bananas. There was also juice and coffee. The coffee was surprisingly good.

"Great stay for a great price"
We enjoyed our stay and even enjoyed the outdoor pool. Not much of a breakfast, but there is a Denny's right across the street.

Only complaint I have (b/c I'm a girl) is there was only a mirror in the bathroom. Which made it hard to shower/get ready. Would be convenient to have a mirror above the desk. Bathroom did have a few dead bugs under the counter, but that could have been to recently being sprayed. Overall great stay.
"Upgraded"
pleasantly suprised that everything in the room was new from the window treatment to the beds. Its still an older hotel but as updated as one can get without yanking out the elevators and carpet. Right across the street from a couple of Marriott hotels, my friend from Chicago was at the Fairfield and said that for the price point after visiting my room […] she'd much rather have stayed at the Best Western. The breakfast hours were extended and the food was fresh, the office staff was courteous (thanks so much Mark). Overall an awesome experience..Great Job on the renovations! Les mer

"For an OK Night..."
Well since the desk clerk gave me 3 separate room keys and each time after i got to the rooms they were already occupied it was a rough start. Then the over room was OK, way too much extra furniture and no room to move, pillows SUCKED. At 7am on Saturday was woken up with automatic nail gun being driven into my outside walls for new stucco work, warning […] would of been nice. Les mer

We ended up staying at a friends house in the area. The room was dirty.

The hotel is denying it, but they have them. If you have to stay here, at least check your room before even taking your luggage in there!
"Still remodeling"
The hotel was very nice inside the rooms...recently updated. There was still exterior painting/ stucco renovation on the exterior. Parking lot spaces were limited and tight. Parking a full size pick-up truck was tough and stuck-out because the parking areas was very narrow. Very convenient to the trade show conference area.

All you can eat breakfast. The waffle maker is awesome! and yea you have to make your own breakfast, such as heat up your own breakfast burritos, but for all you can eat, you cannot pass that up. Cereal, milk, coffee, donuts, bagels, donuts, juices, did I mention waffles? it was pretty darn good! beds were very nice. there was a cricket in the ventilation, […] but I slept through it anyway. "What a little gem!"
The two most important things are the comfort of the bed and the telly. Oh, alright. Number one is cleanliness but that goes without saying. My room was not large but appointed with pillow top mattress, bedding, desk and sofa, and a televsion found in much higher class hotels. The bathroom was actually tiny, but the towels nice and fluffy. I also liked […] the fact that there was hard-wired Internet available in the room and nice people in the lobby. When I checked in, was supposed to have a non smoking room. Manager was able to switch and got a non smoking. He was very helpful. However, my room was very musty smelling. The room was clean, but it had a very bad odor. Complementary breakfast was not very well stocked, tables weren't cleaned and there was no one who was supposed to be doing this on […] duty. The motel was convenient to where I was staying, would not stay there again. This Best Western did not compare to other Best Westerns I have stayed in before. Les mer

market bus comes to adjacent doubletree or anatole. rooms clean and fine. b'fast typical. denny's across the street. easy and cheap. save $80 a nite from the anatole. it's a great downmarket hotel.

It was a nice hotel and I enjoyed it. Since all of my travelling was by cab it was close to the airport, downtown, and where ever I needed to go.
The front desk lady was very enjoyable considereing we came in pretty late. Her customer service was excellent!

Location was fairly convenient to Downtown Dallas. Not sure about public transportation, but taxi fare was fairly reasonable. Quiet location, no highway sounds. Prompt wakeup call.
Was not expecting much from this hotel but upon entering the lobby I noticed how clean and fresh smelling it was. Our room although small was very clean, comfortable and fresh. The bed was so comfy it was hard to get up for the conference we were there for. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would choose this hotel again if ever in Dallas again.
