Et lite familiehotell med god standard (men ikke lukseriøs) like ved domen i den gamle bydelen. Her trivdes vårt reisefølge meget godt; både det unge paret, barnefamilien og besteforeldrene. Gode senger, rent bad og en liten TV på rommet, men først og fremst var alle i personalet meget hyggelig. Frokosten var enkel (vi savnet egg), kaffen rikelig og […] utmerket. Hyggelig hotel med perfekt beliggenhet, rett ved siden av katedralen og gå-gaten.

Hotellet har en perfekt beliggenhet til alle sightseeing-destinasjonene. Hotellet har det som behøves på en feriereise, inkl. internett og parkering. Frokoserveringen kunne vært bedre, da det ble venting pga stor pågang på samme tid. Anbefales for alle som skal på sightseeing ferie i Firenze.

This was our hotel for our first 2 nights in Florence, so we were tired from our long flight. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. And - unusual for an Italian hotel - the shower was large. It is located only a few blocks from the Duomo and other major attractions.

This hotel was conveniently located for sight seeing, the neighborhood was very much like all the neighborhoods that we encountered. The staff were helpful and courteous, and spoke English, which was a big help. The only drawback was that our room was right off the lobby and very noisy.

This hotel is very convenient and clean. It is the third time I have stayed there. My only criticsim is that there was an accessable plug. The plug for the tv was behind a wardrobe which you couldn't move and also no good if you want to charge your phone.

This was our 2 nd stay here & both times have been very satisfactory. It is in an excellent location a few steps away from Santa Maria. It was very clean & breakfast although simple iwas all you need. Have already booked again.

I arrived to friendly pesonnel; my room was small but very cosy; kept immaculate. Maybe a better working TV is necessary. B'fast was very good abundant. Location could not be better. All together top value for money, and very friendly. I will certainly go back... what a wonderful city Florence is.

Location was brilliant. Close to Duomo and lots of local attractions. The room was a little small and awkward. The staff were sometimes rude refusing to speak English even though they could.

It was ideal in terms of its location. Walkable distance to all the great sights. However it is an older hotel and could be better maintained. Room was small and the carpets were a little stale. But the overall impression was still ok. The location made up for the small defects.

But a very dark and dreary hotel. The room I had was so small, I could touch each wall with a hand. It wasn't worth the price. Granted we don't stay in our hotels much when travelling, but this place, I dreaded going back to at the end of each day.

This Hotel is located at the heart of the Florence, all the attractions within walking distance but the Hotel condition itself was poor, very small compacted room and not very convenient.

The hotel staff was very nice. The location was in the middle of the action. Across the street from a VERY good gelato shop. The breakfast was fairly good. The hotel is extremely outdated and seemed very dirty. The shower was full of mold. The undersheets on the bed were full of hair and dirt. The tv did not work. You just felt dirty being there.

Ideal for a short break in Florence with so many sights on your doorstep. Comfortable room and helpful courteous staff. Only the breakfast was satisfactory rather than good. Overall it was good value for money.

pillow was a little hard and the bed was right under the window which i didn't like completely only because i did not want to wake up with a sore throat from a draft. however, i slept fine and the room was quaint and clean. the bathroom was clean with ample room as well as a closet to hang things, tv and minibar. there was even a men's evening coat […] hanger and dish which was adorable. breakfast was a surprise, i had not expected to have one. the tables were nice, continental-cheese, ham, toasts, jams, yogurts, juice, coffee, cereal and croissants. my first time in rome and had no idea where to stay, this hotel found to be a wonderful choice near both metro and train station as well as sights. We arrived late in the evening and were met by Thomas, the night desk clerk, who was very kind, helpful, offered advice on Venice and spoke English very well. The hotel, 1,000 years old, was very well kept, our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was standard fare for Italy; bed, jams, cereal, milk, juice and coffee. This Hotel was within walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. However, It took us forever to find it. When we did we realized there wasn't any street parking in area. We left our car in a parking garage about 4 blocks away, which by the way was pricey. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very helpful on giving us suggestions of places […] to eat. The room itself was very small. The bathroom was clean although it didn't have an exhaust fan so it stayed humid in there. The shower was a single standup shower that was very small. Washing my hair I would hit my elbows on the shower door. Although it is hotel policy to turn in your hotel key every time you leave the hotel nothing ever came up missing. Les mer

Charming hotel and great location. May not be as modern building/room wise as others but still keeps up in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and service. The lady who worked there during daytime (Enza) was very nice, helpful and charming. Really made us feel welcome! I'd consider staying here again in the future!

This hotel is in a great location...just steps from the Duomo. The rooms are basic - typical twin mattresses pushed together and stiff pillows. The showers were larger than what you normally find in Italy. The breakfast was basic and the staff was adequate. We booked an additional room at the front desk and they tried charging us more than what we paid […] through hotels.com. However, they did recommend a great restaurant and helped answer all of our questions. A little expensive, but you're paying for the location!!! Les mer

The hotel is on a first floor (there is a small lift). The building is a bit tired, but has a lot of character. We loved having a view of the Duomo's campanile from the breakfast room and from our own window. It was extremely hot when we went and the air conditioning struggled a bit, but was enough for us to sleep well. There were three of us and our […] room was a double with an extra bed, which made it rather tight, and the extra bed was not very comfortable (I had made a point of avoiding rooms stated as double plus extra guest). Good location but the conditions of the hotel is not good, no air condition, didn't want to help at all with boil water so I can sterilized the bottles of my baby, the room was very small. I don't recomend at all this hotel for that price.

Das ideale Hotel, um in zwei Tagen die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt zu sehen. Wenn man mit dem Auto kommt, lohnt es sich, mit dem telefonisch Kontakt aufzunehmen, um den Weg in die Garage zu finden. Es braucht gute Nerven und Geduld, um in den engen Gassen zu fahren. Siamo stati bene all'Hotel il personale gentili e disponibili in qualsiasi ora... le confort della camera non é il massimo però ce tt il necessario,la colazione non é varia .come psizione non ce meglio di cosi : apena uscite dell'albergo vedete subito la piazza D'Uomo e poi siete circondate di tutti i siti sia turistici sia commerciale... negozie e […] shopping.Ultimo consiglio: prendete le camere interne per evitare i rumori... Enkelt, prisvärt hotell brevid Domen. Rent och välstädat men skippa frukost-det äter du bättre och billigt på något café istället. Bra förvaring och storlek på rummen. Rymligt badrum. Det blir kallt på rummen om natten, speciellt under höst och vintertid. Ta med sockor och tröja annars fryser man om natten. Muy buen hotel, habitación excelente, muy limpia y cómoda. El personal de servicio muy amable. Desayuno muy bueno y muy bien atendido. La ubicación excelente. Es un hotel que volveré a usar cuando vuelva a Florencia. Lo recomiendo.

This is right next to the Duomo and the rooms are done nicely in traditional style with a great antique phone. Air conditioning adequate (just). Poor towels. Fairly good breakfast (self service machine for coffee, but good enough to make decent cappuccino). Only problem was that my room was not at the front with the Duomo view, but on the side with […] view over a tiny side street with rubbish bins and a smelly noisy restaurant kitchen (I arrived very late and it may have been the last room).
