Familie med to tenåringsdøtre. Fantastisk beliggenhet, flott service og komfortable rom. Suite Prestige med to dobble senger. Vi anbefaler dette hotellet sterkt om noen vil bo sentralt og vi er ikke i tvil om hvor vi skal bo neste gang. Det koster noen penger, men i forhold til beliggenhet og det du har igjen så er det ok.

Veldig bra opphold over 4 dager. Frokosten var grei nok. Vår datter på 15 var veldig fornøyd. Veldig god service i resepsjonen. Egen turistinformasjon som kunne gi mange tips til aktiviteter. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Svært fornøyd med oppholdet på hotellet , meget serviceminded personell , god frokost , mulig litt støy i spisesalen , men helt grei mat. Svært hyggelige og imøtekommende personell , både i skranken , og butikken eller han som satte vekk bagasjen. Lett å få tidlig innsjekking og sen utsjekking . Alt i alt , meget bra. "God kvalitet, super beliggenhet!"
Ganske nytt og fint hotell plassert 8min gange fra Time Square, 10 min fra Central Park og gangavstand til Rockefeller Centre m.m. Mange gode restauranter i gangavstand. Ubrukelig frokostopplegg, men mange kjekke frokoststeder i 8th avenue. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake her! Flink og hjelpsom concierge.

"Jentetur i påska(9døgn på Hampton Inn!)"
Fire jenter på tur heile påskeveka. To queen size-senger-store nok! Badet var heilt reint! Handdukar vart bytta når du ville! Oppdaga litt dårlig støvsuging/opprydding frå forrige gjestar då vi sjekka om vi hadde fått med alt vi eigde(en sokk bak en kommode ol). Vi budde der i 9 netter og er strålande fornøgd! Parallellgate til Broadway og 8 gater over […] Time Square, og likevel eit så stille område! God frukost! Og rakk du den ikkje, så fekk du med ein frukostpose med mat og drikke, ferdilaga i resepsjonen. Eigen skranke der ein kunne få vite om kva ein burde gjere i NY, betjent frå klokka 08.00-20.00. Betjeninga var også veldig behjelpelig og hyggelige! Vi bestilte og betalte på forskudd(ca3-4 mnd før) gjennom hotels.com. Ingen problemer i forhold til det! Det er verdt det! Veit om andre som sjekka hotellet nærmare i tid til dei skulle reise, og dei tok seg ikkje råd til dette hotellet. Kjem gjerne igjen og anbefala det absolutt! Så sentralt med tanke på det meste. Greit hotell med bra beliggenhet og relativt rimelig med 4 på rommet. Hyggelig personale. Utrolig at det ikke var noe slags varme på badet i en vinterlig vår. En del støy på first floor over 8th Avenue. Kjedelig frokost.

Vi budde her i fem netter og var SVÆRT nøgde, spesielt i forhold til den rimelige prisen. Store, behagelige rom, hyggeleg og serviceinnstilt personale. Flott resepsjon med gratis turistguide på vakt 12 timar i døgnet. Glimrande beliggenhet, med Times Square og Central Park rett rundt hjørnet. Einaste minus var kanskje frukostserveringa - her var det […] veldig trangt og "masete". Men heilt grei mat - om enn noko mykje sukker for ein norsk gane. Anbefalar absolutt dette hotellet! Les mer
Hotellet var sentralt plasset ved 8th AV og tilfredstillte våre behov for en familie på 4. Rommene var Ok med et utmerket daglig renhold, samt at det ble servert god fokost. Beliggenheten var utmerket ift kommunikasjon, atraksjoner og spisesteder. I I 9th Av ligger det masse fine spisesteder som er vesentlig billigere enn nærmere sentum. Selv om hotellet […] ligger i "Hell kitchen" så opplevdes området trykt, og vi observerte ingen voldshandlinger. God og imøtekommende hotellbetjening, og hotellet anbefales. Les mer
"Hotel Hampton Inn - clean and efficient"
Hotellet ligger sentralt , rommene var fine og rene, deilige senger og fin HD-TV. Frokosten var stående buffet, men alt: service og tallerker og kopper av papp og plastikk! Men maten var god og kaffen perfekt. Lurt å spise tidlig, for mellom 9 og 10 var det mye trengsel. Hotellet er først og fremst meget praktisk.
"Hyggelig hotell sentralt på Manhattan"
Vi, familie på tre, ankom grytidlig om morgenen, men de hyggelige resepsjonistene ordnet rom allerede i lunsjtider. Derfra og ut hele oppholdet på syv døgn er det bare godt å si om personalet. Rommet var romslig, rent, rolig og komfortabelt og rengjøringen helt ok både når vi kom og under oppholdet. Den omtalte frokosten var "plastic fantastic" og […] fristet etter noen dager ikke mer. Se bort fra den, hent en morgenkaffe og avis i resepsjonen, og spis heller et eller annet spennende "på gata". Ellers var det glimrende med gratis kaffe, te, kakao og frukt hele dagen. Trådløst internett fungerte glimrende til tross for at det var gratis - pluss i boka! Alt i alt et hotell vi gjerne kommer tilbake til. Les mer
"et noe skuffende andrebesøk"
Vi var der i fjor og var veldig fornøyde. Da vi kom igjen i år fikk vi et lite neslitt rom rett ved heisen som bråkte noe forferdelig, og det var ingen andre rom ledige før neste dag ble det sagt uten noe sympati. Neste dag fikk vi et nytt rom og personlig muntlig og skriftlig beklagelse og sjokoladeeske fra hotellsjefen. Hotellet har ganske stive […] priser, men vi syntes beliggenhet og selve rommet var verdt deti fjor. The hotel is situated on 8th Av/51st street, about a 5 minute walk from buzzing Times Square. The metro station at 8th Av/50st street is convenient. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. An extensive complimentary breakfast is a great plus, but it's quite crowded, at least between 9 and 10 am. The service is typically New York style, i.e absent. […] We requested early check-in in advance, and was told that this was no problem. When we arrived at 6 am after an overnight flight from LA, no rooms were available, and we did not check in until 1 pm. And the staff did not appear to lift a finger to clear a room for us. Les mer
Room size ample and comfortable, wonderful location with parking garage adjacent to the hotel with very competitive rates, great morning breakfast daily. Our 3rd time at this hotel with another trip planned for August !! Love it!

Hotel was nice and clean. Very simple to park your car and pretty good breakfast, surprised that it was included in the price. Nice that it is close to Central Park, Times Square and Hells Kitchen.

We were there for 4 nights for a job interview and pleasure. The hotel was very close to subway transportation. Hotel was clean room was clean. Breakfast area a little crowded in mornings there were some student tours there. But very accomidating to all our needs would stay here again. "Comfort all the way"
The Hampton Inn was over and above our expectations. The room was large and comfortable with plenty of room to move about in. There was coffee making facilities which was a bonus but we didn't need it as there was always free hot drinks available in the foyer. There was a flat screen t.v in the room which came in handy as I had to spend a lot of time […] in bed as I was unwell (nothing to do with the Hotel at all). The free breakfast was tasty and delicious and an added bonus. The Hotel was conveniently situated near Times Square and other local attractions weren't far away.The most important service of the Hotel was that of the staff. They were a joy to be around and so friendly that they were like our extended family. Nothing was too much trouble. This Hotel comes high on our list of hotels to reccommend to other people and we look forward to having another stay in New York at the same Hampton Inn. Read other reviews we can't all be wrong! "Fantastic location - and great price!"
My husband and daughter (9) and I stayed at the Hampton Inn Times Square North for three nights in April 2012. We knew we wanted to stay very close to Times Square but weren't sure we were going to be able to afford it - so imagine how delighted we were to find this hotel! The price was so reasonable (compared to other options) that I must admit I was […] a bit skeptical up until the moment we arrived, thinking that maybe it would turn out to be a dive - but it was anything but! We were very warmly welcomed by the reception staff, we got great advice from the concierge and our room was clean and comfortable. It was also a lot larger than I was expecting. All in all, we thought this was a great hotel in a great location at a very affordable price. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family-friendly hotel right in the middle of one of the most exciting parts of NYC. Les mer

The price was really reasonable, the location is great, really close to the park and not real far from time square or grand central. The hotel staff very friendly, the continental breakfast and parking validation was also totally awesome! The decor was meh, but the room was really clean and the rest of the experience was as convenient and accommodating […] as it possibly could have been :). "Surprisingly impressed"
I wasn't expecting much after my last stay in NYC but Hampton Inn TSqN surprised me. Service is a pet peeve of mine and the Hampton Inn staff exceeded my expectations. Though we didn't use his services, I was especially impressed with the concierge. I saw him on his feet from the moment we arrived in the am until late at night when I was playing cards […] in the lobby with my two older kids as the younger was going to sleep. He kept his smile throughout the day and appeared to be extrenely helpful for all guest that asked for his assistance. Excellent location and hotel. Reasonably priced, plus I got 10% off for booking through Travelocity. Full hot breakfast each morning. Even had "to go" bags in the morning if you were in a hurry. Housekeeping was very cooperative, hotel was very clean and professionally run. Great location - short walk to Times Square or Central Park. About 1.5 blocks […] down was the Grayline Bus Tour company. We bought a 48-hour pass and saw so much of the city, as you could hop on & off. Saw Jersey Boys - excellent show. Ate twice at Tony's DiNapoli. Fantastic Italian food, served family style (on platters) and extremely reasonable pricing (about $12/person). Hotel gave us a late check-out since our flight didn't leave until mid-afternoon. Would definitely stay here again. Top notch. Les mer

Not bad, except that our room is next to the elevator and you can hear the rumblings of it going up and down. Also, there is water gushing sound when the shower is turned on from some neighboring rooms.

This hotel provided a great location with great access to the theater district, Rockefeler center and Times Square. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate. All hotel employees were polite, professional and very helpful. Definitely could stay there again.

"Great hotel"
The hotel was really good the only thing was the bathroom was a little small but that is to be expected in New York. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was good but go down early. I didn't like paying for parking but that is the way it is in NYC. Would stay again.

I you're planning an outing to Off-Broadway or Broadway theatres, this hotel is veery convenient. Parking next door, walking distance to the Broadway theatres and the uptown Off-Broadway theatres and the Hampton Inn quality of rooms make this an excellent choice. My daughter and I spent Easter weekend in NYC and were both very pleased with the hotel. The breakfast and COFFEE were great! The location was wonderful, as we went to see Avenue Q at the New World theater and it was a 5 min. walk away. I will definitely return at this hotel. Only complaint I have was that the Concierge was disapponting. I asked about […] St Peter's Cathedral for Easter Sunday Mass and she discouraged me from going, saying it was across town and a ticketed event. I went to the 8am mass. Seating was no problem at all and it took me 10 min. to walk!! Les mer

Its in a very convenient location, just a few block away from Time Square. Subway was a block away - along the blue line (A, C, E) and the parking right next to the hotel - charge $30 / 24 hr for a car and $40 / hr for an SUV if you stay at the hotel. Breakfast is free but crowded if you go after 8.30am, they open it from 6am - 10am. they dont have […] restaurants but they are plenty around. Overall it was a nice experience, would love to go back. Very pleased with hotel, checked in early which was a bonus! Waited for the rush to end at breakfast , we got right in and enjoyed a very nice meal. Coffee was good, hot and available all day as was tea and cocoa. Overall a nice trip, will definitely stay at this hotel again.
"Great location for shows and being central in NYC"
We arrived on Good Friday around noon and no rooms were available for earlier check-in. We had a function to go to early and needed to change and had to use the public restroom downstairs with all our luggage etc. However, this was the only glich and we managed somewhat frazzled but dressed for our event. Good location for walking everywhere. The staff […] were polite and accomodating. Breakfast hall was somewhat overwhelming so I just asked for a tray and took a few things to our room. Nice variety. "Almost everything was excellent"
The only complaint I have is that one of the concierges (April) was not professional with us, very unwilling to help, wouldn't even look us in the eye (poor customer orientation) and gave us mediocre and incomplete directions to places. She ended up telling us that we should just return later because it was too early and the concierge service wasn't […] really open yet. It is my opinion that she should have told us that as soon as we sat down, in a polite manner, to avoid the unprofessional attitude that followed. "Right in the center of it all"
What a great deal for a hotel right in midtown Manhattan, walking distance to Times Square and many theaters, shops and restaurants. Affordable, clean, comfortable and convenient. There is even a parking garage attached to the hotel if you are driving in (extra fee) - you'll never need to take the car out, everything is close by!
