Ramada Maingate West - Kissimmee

Utenom innsjekkingen som tok evigheter, var vi godt fornøyde med hotellet. Stort innendørs basseng/karaoke område med bar og pizza Hut. Rommet var rent og greit, stort og sengene til Ramada er jo helt knall!! Her får en virkelig mye for pengene!

The hotel really need upgrade and more maintenance. The bed cover was nasty. The bunk bed's beds were not comfy. I don't think they vacuum the room. There were 3 grapes from previous guest under the table; and during my 5 nights staying, the grapes were still there. Nobody clean it up!! I needed to wear sandals inside my room, coz i think the carpet […] was dirty. I never see someone clean up the pool during my visit. You can see the bottom of the pool was dirty from upstair. I don't like to pay another extra $10 for resort fee. If i knew i have to pay it, i won't stay at this hotel. The only good thing is it's close to Disney and all restaurants. Les mer

The hotel was in a great spot surrounded by lots of shopping. It was probably nice 20 years ago but it seemed dirty and poorly maintained. The carpet felt so grimey I didn't want to walk around barefoot. Plus they added a $10 fee onto the Hotels.com price! I won't stay at this hotel again, I will pay the extra $ and get a better room.

As silly as it sounds, I had to pull a couple of U-turns to get to this hotel. There is a Ramada hotel directly across the street from this one. They are on opposite sides of a busy road. The hotel looks clean from the outside and the lobby was nice. My issue was with my room itself. When I walked in, the room smelled damp and musty. I couldn't figure […] out where the smell was coming from but it was strong. Then when I went in to the bathroom, there was mold growing on the shower and also on the wall near the sink. That is a problem for me because I am allergic to mold. I was only staying for one night and had gotten a hotel room, instead of staying with friends, because I needed internet access to work in the morning. This hotel boasts free wifi but it is very poor. The front desk doesn't give you any idea that there is a passcode for internet service and once you get the code, don't count on the internet working. It failed on me 3 times in a 1 hour period. The front desk must get complaints frequently because they told me that they would call maintenance and have them reset the router because that "usually works." I can honestly say that I would not stay here again because I came home with trouble breathing from the mold/ must and a work shift that I had to make up. Les mer

Beds were uncomfortable but the pool and breakfast are wonderful. Close to Old Town and the indoor flea market which are reasonable things to do without spending a lot

This hotel is deplorable. Smelly hallways, disgusting rooms. Furniture falling apart, bathtub rusted with water just sitting in the tub as you shower rather than going down the drain. Strong smell of urine in the room.

Don't have any expectations. Good for a place to just sleep and bathe. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are nice if you can find space to get in. Overall, not bad for the money you spend.

My stay was great but I did not appreciate that I had to pay an additional $10 to the Hotel

Hotel was well worn. The room did not have a desk. the mirror in the bathroom was deteriorated, it had large spots that did not reflect.

The location was convenient to everything but as for the overall stay, I was a little disappointed in the fact that the maid service did not empty the trash, make the beds or even take the dirty towels, they just threw clean ones on the counter. The indoor pool and spa were nice but over chlorinated to the point of burning your eyes. The restaurant […] in the hotel was a little pricey and the food was not that great. And the icing on the cake was on our last day there I found a roach crawling in the room, that was enough for me to know I will not stay there again. Les mer

No luggage carts in a very large hotel - staff stated "the guest keep them in their rooms"; all the vents in the rooms had heavy dust/dirt (really bad if you want to stay healthy); dining area is in same open area as the pools and bar which made any dining experience very loud and miserable; when leaving (carrying 6 bags - 3 tote, 1 computer, 1 camera, […] and 1 purse because no carts were available) an employee of the hotel attempted to stop me to do a survey showing no respect for what I was doing. I had to request another room since we found cockroaches on one bed and the bathroom. The rooms does not look well cleaned, specially the bathroom.

We will continue stay there. we are very comfertable there..

HOTEL NEED WORK, THE FOOD,POOL AREA NEED BRITE LIGHT THE ROOMS NEED A FRIG THAT DON'T SET ON THE FLOOR , ALSO THE ROOMS NEEDED MICROWAVE, FLAT SCREEN TV

I like booking through hotels.com I don't like prepaying for rooms only to get to a location and have them charge another $10-15 on top of my payment.

Had to get another room first room smelled like mildew furniture had mildew on it carpet felt dirty 2nd room was ok had funny smell. Couldnt cancel so was stuck there. They cleaned room but never changed sheets. Would never recommend or stay there again

The hotel is very out dated, I really would only rate it as a 2...On our last day at checkout, we did one final check and I found a used tampon under the bed skirt...it was so disgusting..I couldn't wait to get home and shower

when i booked on line, I asked for accomodations for 2 adults and 5 children and a pet. They stated they would have to break us into 2 separate rooms. I agreed as long as they were adjoining or next to each other.They said no problem. When we registered at the hotel, my hotel rooms, for some stupid reason,were on opposite sides of the whole building!! […] so that split up our family. I asked why they did this she said they had no idea the rooms needed to be ajoining or that we had a pet. How is this possible when we spoke with the on-line personnel!! Do they NOT communicate with each other??? It was 7p.m. at the time of check in and that it was too late to make any changes now. We wil NEVER stay here again, will NEVER recommend to anyone coming to Orlando!!. Les mer

The room had a musty smell, the wallpaper was peeling away from the walls, the wall had what looked like dried food on it, there was duct tape around the shower head, and the corners had dirt caked in them. One of the 3 bars opened right into the lobby making check-in distracting and around the corner was the indoor pool and 2 other bars. This hotel is old but we found it was clean. There was no smell in the room but you could smell the chlorine from the indoor pool when entering the hotel lobby. The pool is located in the center of the hotel. If there is a complaint from us it is the fact the elevator was broken during our stay. Of the two elevators, only one side was in use. Additionally, […] there is a computer for visitor use that is so slow it should really be replaced. There is no wi-fi in the room. Our room rate was economical but the daily resort fee was never mentioned until check in. It was not on the hotel.com website which we used to book the room. We spent very little time in our room but each day we returned we found it refreshed with clean linens and amenities. We would recommend this hotel for others. Les mer

The only positive feedback I could say would be the location. Near all the disney parks. When we arrived there was a group drinking beer at the entrance. When I entered the lobby, I was shocked that there were some barefoot and without any shirts sitting and wondering the main lobby. I asked for a cart for our luggage and there was none available. The […] staff did not even attempt to solve the issue so I ended up doing three trips.The hotel is dirty and the towels were disgusting, old and stained. I did not want to spend any time. We would just run out in the morning and arrive late night. Would not ever return and especially with a family. Les mer

This Hotel is older and worn out. Bathroom needs caulking around shower door frame rotted away. Dirty bed spread, missed junk on floor when vacumming. There is a different Ramada across the street that is newer. Pros: Can't beat location.

We were not aware there was a Resort Fee--that should have been explained before it was booked.

No one tells you In advance there are hidden fees eg; resort fees. What a rip off. Our room had furniture that should have been condemened years ago. Mostly because of mold! The room was clean. Comfortable enough for a one night stay. This hotel is good for tour groups at best, but not for a family or business traveler. I liked the emenities but not […] well enough maintained. No contiental breakfast. You have to pay for a cheap buffet style-pricey for what they serve. I paid nearly two bucks for a cup of coffee that should have been served free of charge. You pay enough for the rooms and no free coffee? The do-it-yourself stuff in the room does't count. It's not real coffee in my opinion. This is a three stars hotel the amount of money you pay is what you will get. It was ok.

The hotel has a central courtyard where the pool and restaurants are and the whole thing feels a bit shabby. This was our fourth trip to Disney and, while it wasn't terrible, we'll look some where else next time. Pool was murky, inside room got a lot of pool noise and the A/C was temperamental.

My visit to Orlanda was most enjoyable due to my stay at the hotel. It comes highly recommended with one exception and that was the dinner buffet. Seemingly it is not exchanged out in a timely fashion thus making what is probably a good meal turn bad. Other than that, I will stay there on my next trip.....

I have to say, while some of the reviews for this hotel were extreme the general gist of the problems were right. This was a nice hotel, though it certainly needed some upkeep--our hotel room was clean but the blankets had holes/old stains on them. They were powerwashing outside the building which woke me up one morning, but it really wasn't a problem. […] There was a chlorine smell that filled the rooms and the hotel but we didn't mind. Perhaps the two things that were the most distressing about the hotel were the check-in and the room setup. We arranged for a king suite with a pull out couch but when we got there, there was no couch in the room. It wasn't a problem but it would have been if we had more guests. In addition, the check in took far too long-- at least 20 minutes, and that was mainly just standing in line waiting to talk to someone. It took forever to get our room set up--to the point where it was like they hadn't booked us--and lots of people in line seemed to have problems with their room. However, besides these problems it really was a decent hotel for a great price, and in prime location for the parks. It's a perfect hotel if you plan on staying at the parks all day and want a good priced hotel! Les mer

To our surprise we enjoyed our stay that we will return.

the hot tub was only luke warm and was told tempature was 101 could not have been over 80.

The rooms were not cleaned. A dirty sock was found in our bed. It was there from a previous guest. Wi-fi never worked, floors had stains and comforter had stains. Would definitely not recommend this hotel. While in the elevator 3 other people stated that it was the worst hotel they had ever stayed in.

I called the hotel before I checked in and asked if there were any resort fees, the person told me no. When I arrived at check in, I was told the resort fee is $10 per day. They kindly waived it for me since the hotel representative I spoke to advised me there were no additional fees and my bill was paid in full. The issues were a lot but here's a few. Low water pressure,noise,very out dated,smelled funny almost like grandma closet, very bad reception on tv and the movie you rent will more than likely have problems. Well that's some of them you can stay if you like but I won't be back.

The photos of this hotel look very nice but they must have been taken back in the 80's because everthing was old and dirty. The A/C vents and return were nasty and the sprinklers were green were the metal had oxidized and then other parts were brown and rusty. There were no electrical outlets to be found in the room as the few the room had were located […] behind the beds and the tv armoire so not really accessible. They added little cheap power strips to make up for the lack of outlets but these just seemed like a fire hazard and anytime you plugged anything in it just wanted to come back out as the holes were so used and loose. There was rust in the bathtub and the exhaust fan didn't work properly. The A/C although cold did not work properly as all our clothes felt damp after a couple of days at the hotel. We were supposed to have free wifi but that never worked the whole four night stay. The pool and hottub looked filthy with scum floating on the surface. Amazingly, it stayed busy but they were not keeping them properly cleaned. They even emptied the hottub one day and I thought oh good that will fix t but that night we went to go in and there was scum floating on the surface so we didn't bother. The location of this hotel is awesome, so close to Disney but it desperately needs modernized and then maintained properly. Les mer
