We had to pleasure to be assisted by Judy in the Concierge desk. She was simply extraordinary on assisting us with booking and suggestions for Seattle first timers as ourselves. Thank you Judy! Furthermore, the hotel is on an excellent location, the room we stayed had a great view (32nd floor) and the gym was great too.

Great hotel, great location. Staff was very friendly and accomodating.

This hotel located right in the heart of Seattle. The only complaint I have is that the bartender needs to learn to make a better dirty martini.

The hotel was great. Very neat and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful . Would stay again!!!

I was most pleased with this hotel and its located close to all the shopping, dining, and tourist attractions so no need to rent a car. However, if you do, the valet service is fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Was expecting to have internet service in the room without additional costs. The cost of parking of an automobile is extra and is pricey at $39.00 per day. Parking in the surrounding area is limited.

We booked this hotel for just one night before a cruise. We read alot of reviews that said it was dirty but we did not find this to be the case. It could probably stand a minor update, but it was a nice place. The room was pretty neat, too. Never stayed in a circular hotel. The view was pretty good. I will warn you that two bananas in the cafeteria […] style breakfast area was 5 dollars!! Thats kind of like robbery. Les mer

I payed a premium for a "Bay view" room. When we arrived and opened the curtain all I saw was the office building in front of me. I would have needed the hubble telescope to see water anywhere. BEWARE of "Bay view" rooms at this hotel!

Other than the valet attendants, the service was mediocre and not at all up to the standard one would expect from a Westin. Every request required 3 calls. Worst of all, the day parking rate is a staggering $41 at self-parking. If you do decide to stay and park your car, there is a $25 / day parking rate on the other side of the hotel.

Dear Westin Team, We had a very enjoyable stay in Seattle and Westin hotel. Looking forward the next opportunity in near future again. Few points for your consideration, Pool: the quality of the water gave a feeling that the water is not been changed or maintained properly. it felt sticky and very unclean. One reason for us to book into Westin was […] the pool as me and my husband are swimmers. A bit of a disappointment. Check In: There was a very nice young lady checking us in, however, Westin being part of the international hotel chain, would expect a bit more consideration to the customer service situation, for non-native English speakers. Despite of strong language skills it is rather difficult to understand a young lady shooting like a machine gun the hotel information etc relevant in the check in. Due to this, we missed the opportunity to support the green initiative of retaining from the daily room cleaning, as there was no information found in our room either. Young lady in the check in was polite, however, this teenager kind of a thing - speaking as fast as possible - should be kept out of the professional communication, especially in the customer service situations. CARPET NEEDS TO BE SHAMPOOED AND VACUUMED . GUEST HAD TO CALL AND POST A NOTE FOR ROOM TO BE VACCUMED. NOT WHAT I EXPECT FOR THE WESTIN. VIEW AND LOCATION IS GREAT SO FAR, BUT AFTER A DAY'S CITY TOUR , ONE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO A ROOM WE CAN CALL JUST LIKE HOME.

We felt the Westin was a very well-kept hotel, the staff was pleasant, and the location was great. We were frustrated, however, by the charges for internet service, refrigerator use, and room service. I think that a hotel of this staure and price should provide a few more complimentary services for its customers.

The Westin is conveniently located and the property is well maintained. They need to have a proper restaurant for breakfast. The facility currently in place is chaotic and uses a stand-in-line, deli-style ordering system, despite charging premium prices. My primary complaint is with the fees. For a hotel as costly as the Westin, I would expect a few […] more amenities included. Internet use was $9.95/day, room service fees were excessive, and our party of 4 received 2 cardboard coffee cups and enough coffee for 2 single servings. The worst was the mini-bar: there is a sensor on the shelves, so that you are charged for an item if you simply remove it. We were charged for 3 items that we temporarily removed from the frig, even though we hadn't consumed them (we were refunded for the items when we called the front desk). They charge $7/day to use the frig for storing one's own items - we ended up storing left-overs on ice in the recycle bin. This is especially frustrating when you know other hotels provide free internet and a complimentary breakfast, for a fraction of the cost. Les mer

The Westin downtown Seattle is a reliable brand of 4 star hotels that consistently deliver an upscale hotel experience, and this location was no different. Quality room which was clean and quite large. Quality service from check-in to concierge to the bar staff in the lounge. I was very disappointed when I checked out the refrigeratory and found so many large discusting dust balls all around it in the cupboard! Lots of dust on floor boards and next to bed! Even bathroom floor had items from previous customer. Never again will I pay this kind of money and not complain! Too many kids in pool and computer room!

This hotel made a very comfortable headquarters for our four day stay in Seattle. The city view from out window was beautiful forming a changing tableaux that kept us entertained. The hotel was centrally located making it possible to walk about much of the city. On the dwonside, the hotel cafe was small , cramped and over-priced for breakfast.

Although convienetly located dontown,the entrance to the hotel is next to impossible to get to without first doing half a dozen circles around the surrounding blocks due to the one way streets and lack of street signage on every street. other than that, i stay here a twice a year and enjoy the customer servive and the oversized lobby

We had a very nice stay at the Westin Seattle. The room was big and very comfortably appointed. The only disappointment was the size of the bathroom. We had an end room and the bathroom was a little small. Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The location of this hotel was great. My room had morning sun that heated the room to an uncomfortable temperature. The A/C didn't seem to cool it.

Immaculate rooms, and excellent staff, and prompt room service. The staff did everything possible to make my stay memorable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family, and will stay there again when in Seattle.

Fast elevators (nice when you're on the 30th floor), spectacular view of the sound and the Space Needle, clean and comfortable. And located 1 block from Westlake station which has terrific train service to SeaTac (airport). And within an easy walk to Pike Market and great restaurants.

It is hen house that you charge for internet service and the use of the refrigerator for your own stuff.. Back to the Hyatt for our next stay

The hotel felt slightly run-down. Workout facilities were small and always crowded, with people waiting in line. Westins used to feel special, but this was just an average hotel. The heavenly bed, which was my primary reason for staying at the Westin, gave me a heavenly backache every night. Perhaps the mattresses need to be replaced. This has never […] happened to me before. Entrances are hard to find and hard to get to, with cabs given priority over guests. No staff in sight to help with luggage except at one door, and that door is hard to get to. Les mer

This hotel had a beautiful view, but the enjoyment ended there. The rooms were small, run down, and not very clean. The beds were tiny (hard for two adults to sleep together) and uncomfortable. You could hear the neighbors talking clearly from your room, and at 5am, that is not fun. The staff was hard to find and when you found them they were not friendly. […] The hotel was not very family friendly, no children’s activities and the coffee shop/cafe is only open until 2:00pm then you have to retreat to the bar, where children are not allowed. I will never stay at the Westin again and the word is spreading quickly. For a similar price and location try the Silver Cloud, Homewood Suites or the Marriott. Les mer

Booked the room for the view and location, and both were great. Though for some reason the Westin folks decided that a big desk, complete with bulky lamp, phone and chair, all belonged directly in front of the window, obscuring the great view from the bed. But after unplugging all the electronics and shoving the desk and chair into a corner of the room, […] we had the terrific view from bed that the hotel gods intended. Les mer

Location is good if you are gonna stay all your trip at downtown seattle. Parking is too expensive as well as internet access. Rooms are ok, but be aware of not taking a room next to the elevators, there is a lot of noise.

For the price one expects a clean room, it was not, carpet was stained and unraveling, bathroom was dirty, keys did not work several times, and room service suck, we ordered food and I would not feed my dog that food, thank god they did not make the beer, my advise stay somewhere else.

Easy to get around to shop and sightseeing. Very helpful Concierge. For breakfast I would like to recommend The Sixt ave bar and grill. Old fashioned diner with good breakfast only 3 min to walk from the hotel

We had a lovely stay at the Westin in Seattle. It is walking distance to most anywhere. The hotel was quiet considering how large it is. Our room was very comfortable and quiet with a great view of the Space Needle.

Perfect location in downtown Seattle. True walking distance from Pike Place Market, all shopping and restaurants, and monorail to Seattle Center. Pet friendly.

We checked into our hotel around 12am. After I showered and was about to slide into my bed, I was greeted by a lovely little curly black hair when I pulled the covers back. Gross. Besides that, I found a nail coming out of the floor, and the lock on the door connecting to another room would not actually lock. Our family stayed at the hotel, and were generally pleased. The bed in our room (king size) was very comfortable, however, the room did need some maintenance which I would expect not to be consistent with the hotel star rating. Common areas were pleasant, guest room just appeared a bit "worn-out". Parking at the public garage is a far better deal. I was excited to stay at the Westin since I had never been there. Well, I arrived, and I got supposedly an upgrade which I thought was kind of cool. The room looked clean, it was small but was OK. However, I went to plug in the cel phone charger and when moved the nightstand there was a lot of garbage behind it. It was disgusting. I complained the next […] morning and all they did was send someone to clean. they didn't offer me anything, not even free parking or free internet. I didn't even get a cal from the management apologizing or anything. I also felt treated differently since I booked through Hotels.com rather than directly with them. I also now believe we get different rooms than other guests. I started looking further into the cleanliness of the room and yu could see how the carpet all around the periphery was not al all vacuumed. Gross. I sent the hotel an email and and got no reply. Overall experience, very good...but if you are checking out on a weekend, do it early! With only 3 elevators and a whole lot of floors, it took me over 30 minutes just to get ON an elevator! Valet parking, very nice but you can park across the street from the main entrance for about $10 a day.
