Veldig fornøyd. Kort vei til metro, butikker, koselig kafeer og flere severdigheter. Kjempehyggelig betjening, som snakket engelsk. Rommet var litt lite, ellers ingenting å utsette.

Veldig bra. Rett ved siden av de to mest berømte caféene i Latinerkvarteret. Også nær mange gode spisesteder. Personalet har ikke bare oversikt over Paris, men over dagsaktuelle begivenheter, som at avreisedagen falt sammen med Gay Pride-parade, så det var mye vanskeligere enn vanlig å komme frem med overflate-transport (drosje), så det ble Metroen […] isteden. Great location with numerous cafes and restaurants right outside and in the surrounding streets. My room had a good-sized (probably 4') single bed, which was very comfortable. The room was quite small, but very clean and well appointed. Downside of the modern bathroom was that the handheld shower in the bath was just that; it was not possible to hook […] it on the wall for a shower. Room looked onto main street but was very quiet with the french windows closed. Less than 100 metres to St Germain Metro station, which is on Line 4 direct to Gard du Nord (about 20 mins from hotel to Station). Would definitely stay here again, for a trip to Paris, as it is within walking distance of almost everywhere. But, if you are heading for Montmartre, you might want to take the Metro one way. One of the best locations. Pleasant hotel with good bathrooms and small but well outfitted rooms. Nice staff and lounge area. Went out for breakfast since there are about 8 well-known bistros within a block.

Our room was just a bit dark. Lighting made some tasks a bit of a challenge. That said, the price for the location was a REAL deal. I love St. Germaine area. Have stayed there twice before. The Crystal is a very short walk from Seine. One real plus was the accessibility and speed of the wifi. We traveled for weeks and stayed in much more expensive and […] luxurious hotels that had no comparable service. The speed was very fast so if I needed to download another tour guide or check maps, it was an easy task. The staff was excellent. Friendly, informative and knowledgeable. Good source for restaurant recommendations and advice on excursions. Again, the most important thing for us was the location. There were lots of cafes nearby, and just around the corner was a Monoprix. (Kind of a European Target) We were able to get anything extra we needed....and stuff for a picnic lunch or dinner. The St. Germaine subway stop is 3 blocks away. Takes a little planning but is doable. Last trip to Paris we got a travel pass and used the RER and metro to get to Paris from DeGaulle. A great savings. Look for taxi service at 65 to 90 Euro for the trip. Next trip to Paris, we will stay there again. Les mer

The location of the hotel was secong to none, it gave the opertunity to either wlak down to the river which was about 500 mtrs away, get the baot bus on an all day ticket and go everywhere. the cafe's and bars excellent and close by, we both felt very safe in the area. it was possible to walk to all the sites from this area, however i recomend both […] the bus boat and the bus site seeing trips they where all worth the money. Hotel is quaint, and well kept. Staff is extremely helpful. If mobility is an issue, try to get rooms on first 3 floors - small elevator does not serve top floor where our rooms were, but this was a minor issue for us. Rooms are small - we had 2 rooms for 2 adults and 2 HS/college aged children) -- but who goes to Paris to sit in a hotel room all day? […] This hotel, in the trendy St. Germain shopping district, is within walking distance of Notre Dame, Lourve, Musee d'Orsay, and (a bit longer) Eiffel Tower - we walked to all of these locations from the Crystal Hotel. Close to Metro stop and Taxi line. There is a Monoprix about 1 block away, and good restauraunts in the 25 to 40 Euro per person category throughout the area. Les mer

Bruno and Andrea were wonderful our french is a bit broken but they speak english well!! The staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The room was spacious and clean and well decorated!! It is next door to the famous Cafe Flore 80 feet from Boulevard St-Germaine and a short walk to the Rue de Seinne art district and pretty much everything […] you want see in Paris. The Louis Vitton store is across the street!! You can walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardins, Musee D,orsay, or jump a taxi boat nearby!! We will be back!! Les mer

If you want to stay in the heart of the Saint Germain De Pres, this little hotel will suit your needs. It's one block from the Metro and walking distance from everything you could hope to see or do in the 6th or 7th A. If there is a drawback, it is hard to find - provided you understand that hotels in Paris are often similar to those in cities such […] as New York. You don't get the same comforts that you'd find in a resort, but then again, if you are looking to stay in your hotel and enjoy the amenities then Paris isn't probably a place you ought to be going. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly hostess and were allowed to leave our baggage in the lobby (since we arrived a couple of hours before check-in time). This allowed us to relax and explore the neighborhood cafes and grab a bite while our room was being prepared. When we returned we checked-in and were given our room card and free WiFi access […] code. Our room was very nice and clean and small (which we expected), but perfect for what we needed; you don't go to Paris to hang out in your hotel room. At one point we were missing a towel and it was brought to us right away when we asked for it. So, over all, nothing bad to say about this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location!!! Right around the corner from the Metro (St. Germain). In the heart of Paris, about 2 blocks away from the Seine and close to all the shops, cafes, museums, etc... We had a fantastic stay at Crystal Hotel. We've stayed in Paris many times, but really like the location of this hotel. It felt safe to go out to eat and drink in the evening and was so easy to walk pretty much everywhere or take the metro which is 1 or 2mins walk away. We booked our room in advance and got a very reasonable rate, so was good value […] for money. Our room felt a little small compared to UK standards, especially the bathroom, but this is pretty normal for Paris. Our room was nice and quiet and pleasantly refurbished. The convenient location of this hotel is beyond compare - so easy to walk to lots of interesting places - Jardins du Luxembourg, Latin Quarter restaurants and shops, Tour de Montparnasse and the usual sites (Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, le Marais, etc.). Close to a metro station too (St Germaine de Pres). Many lovely cafes for breakfast - we decided on […] this option as we wanted to get out and about. The hotel does do breakfast though if you prefer. Our room was very cosy. It isn't luxurious but is comfortable with all you may need. It can be a little noisy in the street at night but that adds to the ambiance - restaurants and a club next door - this was no problem for us. Only real drawbacks are street noise, cigarette smoke seeping into the room from somewhere and twin beds pushed togerher instead of a true double. Otherwise it's lovely. Breakfast in the jazz wine cellar is a treat. Nice helpful management.

Terrific location. The room was clean, and the service was friendly and helpful. Free WiFi was a nice perk. The room itself was over-crowded with furniture so there was hardly any space to move around, and double window panes would have helped with the noise. The elevator goes only to the fourth floor.

Hotel Crystale is located in the beautiful, busy and exciting St. Germain area which includes many restaurants, great shopping, and, in general, places for just people watching! Seven minutes over the Ponts des arts to the Louvre, near the metro, near the bus tour stop if that is what you seek, and so much else-- so its location was a key factor for […] it all. . The staff is superb - each one at the front desk from our greeter Bruno to everyone else was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have an older decor but the bathroom was fairly new and we found it to be very clean, and daily maintained well. Small life/elevator but that is the norm for these "boutique hotels". We were happy there was one! Free WiFi a bonus! We were thrilled for the convenience, the ease of walking out the door and having a choice and convenience of a plethora of exellent cafes, art galleries, shopping and restaurants. Stayed on 5th floor, lift only goes to 4. Lift barely holds a person and a carry one bag. Room was pretty clean, tub drained very slowly and shower head holder was not properly installed. Otherwise, nice little place with a great location. Good price for the locale and overall quality.

I randomly chose the Crystal because of the neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised when I showed up. Check in is at 2pm, which can be a hinderance if taking an overnight flight from the States. However, they will take your bags so you can get started in your Parisian sight seeing. I immediately realized that I was within blocks from many of the MAJOR […] Paris must-see sights! I never had to take the Metro. I walked for hours a day taking it all in. The hotel is perfectly situated a few doors down from the famous Cafe de Flores right off of the main street - St. Germaine. On the street alone, there are several famous cafés and bistros listed in your travel books as places to go. You are also within the high end shopping district (i.e. Louis Vuitton and Cartier are across the street). The hotel is also situated next to many street vendors and a Monoprix (i.e. think smaller walmart, target where you can find everything from clothes to groceries). The elevator is tiny! Fits one person with their luggage. The room is a bit small but there is a full size bed with a great mattress, which is hard to find in many European countries. The windows opened, which made for great people watching or just lying down relaxing while listening to the evening seranades from the Bistros. OVERALL - Quaint, sexy, good price, fantastic location, nice staff. Can't go wrong. I would highly recommend and come back myself - over and over! Les mer

The location is fantastic but the hotel is falling apart in certain areas. Some new wall paper and linen would make a hugh difference. I would only recommend this hotel if you plan not to spend anytime in the rooms except for sleeping. The room i was in was old and tired, wouldn't have space for two people or a bigger person and suffered from power […] outages. From what i could see they added a hairdryer and a mini bar with no alcohol in a ditch to try and keep their rating. Les mer

This Hotel is rated 3 stars, personally, I'd give it 4! Most who have stayed here give it a five star rating and I would do that too, but it's really not a five star Hotel. It's a perfect Paris Hotel in a perfect area for a reasonable price, how can you go wrong. Bruno heads a great staff whose main concern is your trip and making sure you are taken […] care of. Our room was huge, number 4 on the first floor up, the elevator is small, but that's Paris. It's a great area for walking, feeling safe and enjoying a multitude of sidewalk cafe's. The air conditioning was the best I've seen in Europe; I like it cold and I even had to turn it off. It will be our hotel of choice (in Paris) from now on. Les mer

Great location, the area was safe, and the place to be at night. Great little restaurants and cafes near by. Ten minute walk to louvre, and notre dame. The rooms are VERY small. the bathrooms were the biggest problem. The showers are bathtubs without curtains you get water everywhere since we are not used to that in North america. You have to be careful […] how you shower or you will get water all over the floor. The elevators are extremely small. One person and one luggage at a time. The staff was incredibly helpful they showed us maps and found out routes for us for sightseeing. They were great no complaints there. Les mer

This was a very old hotel with a dark dirty room. I also didn't like the bathroom 'cause it had a bath with no shower closers. Cleaning lady didn't clean the room until 5pm, and then she took the dirty towels but forgot to leave new one's. However, people who worked at the reception desk were very nice and helpful, and the location of the hotel was […] just amazing. Walking distance to Louvre and D'orsay musuem and surrounded by great shops and restaurants. I would stay in that area next time but would not stay at Crystal hotel. Les mer
