Homestead Minneapolis - Airport - Eagan - Eagan

I found the room comfortable and very quiet which I appreciate. Staff was very accomodating and concerned that my room met my expectations. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely book this hotel again next month.

Friendly and helpful staff. I was attending a conference in the area and this place was close to where I needd to. Bed was comfortable and area was quiet.

good value for price. fridge, stove and microwave in room. sofa bed in our room. clean, quiet. hotel staff very friendly. would recommend. Not the Hilton but definitely would and have stayed there again.

We're big on the little things that improve our overall experience. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied this stay. This room had a poorly patched bathroom wall, no drain stop for the sink (hang onto your toothbrush!), a floppy shower head, dirty upholstery on the chair and footstool, a coffee-maker that spewed coffee all over the counter and into […] a bag of gifts I had purchased, a burned out light bulb stuck in the lamp socket, and no maintenance or housekeeping service available for the weekend we were there. This is our second stay here, and we chose to stay here again because the first stay was great. We will assume the stars were just aligned wrong this time and give it one more chance. Room stunk of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be non smoking. Guess you get what you pay for. Wouldn't stay here for anything more than the discounted price we received.

This hotel is really set up for an extended stay but I only stayed overnight. It was very clean and had a nice living space. I would certainly stay again.

We really like the set-up in the room, the frig, the k i tchenette with useful counter. Pillows are tooSMALL.

The location is fair / weather was bad , flight out in 14 hrs . Didnt see the room much from packing n crashin for maybe 2 hrs; Over all good hotel / compared 2 some of the ones i've seen resently so... thats a good thing .Family helped out n hotel was mainly goood bout it and thats sayin alot comin from me . The room was very clean, nice bathroom and kitchen Area. The bed was decently comfortable but could Have used more pillows. My only compliant was that The room Smelt super strong like garlic. It was a Little gross, it probably would have helped if the Aired out the room After the last guest. I was very impressed with the room I had. The big was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again on my next trip to MN.

Hotel is ideally situated for airport access and dropping off rental cars. Comfortable but could use a little updating.

the staff was very friendly - the computer made a mistake, and since it took a while to correct it, I was upgraded to a larger room -- very nice touch. I was pleased to see dishes in the kitchen, since at another place recently that was missing -- My main complaint was that there aren't any places to eat in walking distance. The desk clerk said "Yes, […] xyz is right across the street" but what she meant to say is that it was across the HIGHWAY -- not easy walking distance. Great value but it is an extended stay. The room was clean but could use updating. Great room layout for the studio king suite! Plenty of room for two.

Though our room was supposed to be a no smoking room, it did have a slight smokey odor. And, though the phone in the room wasn't needed, it wasn't working. Both of the above were mentioned to the clerk when we checked out. The cleanliness of our room (except for the odor) was quite satisfactory and the king size bed we found to be very comfortable. Front desk agent Katie was just super! She was professional, helpful and friendly. Room was clean, although would have liked a couple of plastic utensils perhaps since you provide some other dishes. Booked on short notice for great rate.

Pros: -Near highway -Near Walgreens/Sam's club and other stores -Had a great little kitchen with pot/pan, collander,utensils, towels, toaster, cutting board Cons: -Shower did not work, sprayed water horizontally, everything in bathroom got wet -Carpet was not thouroghly vacuumed, toenail clippings were by the bed -Overall carpet was not cleaned, edges […] (by wall) showed a difference in color -Pets allowed shows, the lamps had a mild layer of light fur that should be cleaned Overall, its okay, no bed bugs or anything major. If I had some antibacterial wipes I would have gone over the lamps, remote and wiped them down. Would I stay here again? Probably not, since I have kids that like being on the floor alot, this place wasn't up to par. If its just adults I'd recommend it. Les mer

I got this reservation through Hotels.com, did not realize it was really designed for long term stays. I only stayed two nights. Room was comfortable and I appreciated the kitchenette. BYO shampoo/ toiletries! Good location close to highway entrance at 35E, and lots of food options at nearby shopping area. I was pleased with the experience.

The hotel is an ok hotel. The room had dirty towels, dirty rag and used soap in the shower. Ended up getting a one night stay free. Fortunately, its for a different property as well.

This was my first stay in Eagan. I did a lot of searching beforehand. The Homestead was located very close to the interstate as well as a grocery store and other shopping. It was also located in clean, safe feeling area. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. No frills like a pool or free breakfast, but I did take advantage of the built-in […] kitchen. Not too shabby for a two night stay in Minneapolis. No frills hotel. Staff was super friendly. Ten minutes from Mall of America, ten minutes for MSP international, twenty minutes from Uptown (awesome little area to hang) and offered a free Sam's Club guest pass and Gym pass during your stay. If you don't need breakfast, this is a good hotel for the price. I just came back from a fishing trip in Canada and needed a refrigerator to store the frozen fish. This hotel is convenient to the airport and has a Caribou Coffee around the corner. I was happy with the overall service and facility.

I love staying here! Even though it is a little further from the areas I need to be at, the customer service and the room just fulfills my comfort. Therefore I rather make that extra drive than to stay elsewhere. This Hotel is definitely a great place to stay! :)

It was a great experience with helpful and knowledgeable staff. They allowed for an early check in which was a great benefit since I was in 3 hours early. Erin at the front desk gave me directions to a nearby town that I was going to that were on point. When I go back I will definitely stay at the Homestead again.

A continental breakfast would make this hotel much more appealing to a lot of people. I would have the establishment consider adding this amenity. Otherwise, everything was fine.

a three night stay. Our room was comfortable and clean except for the airvent in the bathroom. I have a thing about clean air vents. Other than that the room was great, good bed, quiet. We originally were to stay two nights. With the giant snowstorm we decided we would stay over a third night. The desk clerk told me to go use the guest computer and […] check in online through hotels.com and get a better rate than she could give me! Didn't save a lot, but I appreciated the suggestion. They also had a young kid helping people clean their cars off. With 17 inches of snow you can imagine the digging. My husband was tipping him and the kid tried to refuse it!! CLONE THAT KID!!! He was very sweet, and a good worker. The only problem with this hotel is the entrance is hard to find if coming from a different direction than off of 35E. But I think we have it now. Too high for right now. In 1-2 years when I'd be able to make a complete transition this might be good (because then I'll have dumped the other $1,200 a month I'm paying for rent here in DC).

I chose this hotel as I liked the location, close to the EZ Airport shuttle. I was a bit worried about what I would find, as it was a very good deal. Everything in my room was perfect, except for the fact that I had no pillows. Call the desk, and pillows were in the room within minutes.

Hotel was clean and the staff didn't have any problems with changing our rooms when the first set they gave us smelled of smoke (we booked and paid for two nonsmoking rooms) the other minor problem we had was the coupon books that were advertised (part of why we stayed in Eagan) was not available, l was really counting on it, but it didn't take away […] from the nice condition of the hotel for the price we paid. It had everything we needed. It was clean too. Would recommend to anyone needing a clean place to stay at a good price.

The staff was friendly and helpfull. The room smelled like a dog took a dump in it and the floor would have been more comfortable than the bed. Short answer i wont be back.

The hotel was convenient to MSP but not in the vicinity of the Mall of America. The rooms were clean and supplied with some dishes but nothing else (eg no dish soap, no sponges). The front desk had scissors and a cork screw they were happy to lend us. The staff was courteous and happy to help.
