Enkelt og bra hotell i Europeisk stil (les: litt shabby), meget sentralt. Hyggelig betjening, rent og ikke spesielt lytt. Veldig bra valuta for pengene. Anbefales!

Hotellet ligger meget sentralt til med kort vei til det meste. Komfortabelt, rent og god service. Gratis vinsmaking og nakkemassasje ved siden av resepsjonen fra 17-18 (meget praktisk etter en hektisk dag med sightseeing og shopping). :-)

Et fint og rent hotell med hyggelige ansatte. Ingenting negativt å si om hotellet, men nabolaget har en del uteliggere i noen kvartaler ned mot sentrum. Opplevde derimot ikke noe ubehagelig. Det er også svært kort vei ned til sentrumsområdet og Market street, og taxi er veldig billig slik at man slipper å gå på kveldstid. Fint hotell i forhold til hvor billig det var!

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og opplevelser i San Francisco. Vi trivdes svært godt der, og vil sannsynligvis vurdere hotellet neste gang vi skal til San Francisco. Hotellet er litt slitt, men rent og hyggelig. Personellet er ikke overhjelpsomme, men tar man kontakt og spør om hjelp så hjelper de deg!

SFO ligger praktisk til 19 km sør for San Francisco. BART, eller Bay Area Rapid Transit, knytter San Francisco internasjonale flyplass til byen – eller The City, som San Francisco vanligvis kalles av lokalbefolkningen. Flyplassen ligger praktisk til for både bedriftene i nord og bolig- og handelsområdene i sør. WHAT A JOKE. I PAID FOR ROOMS I DIDNT GET. AND THERE WASNT A MANAGER IN THE OFFICE, THAT WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM , THE MAID RAN THE FRONT OFFICE AND I DROVE 4 HRS. AND PUT UP WITH.WHAT A JOKE
"Homestead San Francisco-San Mateo near Airport"
My son and I made a last minute decision to book online. We drove 6 hours from northern CA to meet my grandson at the airport early the next morning. We arrived late in the evening, but there was no problem with our reservation. Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing renovations in some rooms, and our room had no power running to the heater. As luck […] would have it, ours was the only room available. The staff was very apologetic, and offered extra blankets. It was fairly mild that evening, so we were comfortable enough without the heat. At checkout the next morning the manager also apologized for our inconvenience, and gave us a certificate for our next stay at a Homestead hotel. Nice to encounter a hotel company that really is interested in customer comfort and satisfaction. Otherwise our stay was very nice. It is an attractive property, right off the highway, in the midst of a very quiet upscale residential/office park. I would definitely recommend this Homestead. It was my first stay with this company. It will not be my last. They went above and beyond. Congratulations and thanks to management and staff. Les mer
"Fleas in my bed"
Well, let me begin by saying, I travel for work and spend more than 300 nights a year in hotel rooms. I've used Hotels.com many times to my satisfaction; this experience was a horrible stay experience, but an excellent Hotels.com experience. The room appeared clean at first notice, not nice and modern, certainly not a 5 star hotel, but I was looking […] for a kitchen for a few days. I was very tired my second night there and went to bed early, the next day I got up for work (4:00 am) got ready, arrived at my office at 5:15 am and began to notice I was itching, upon further examination I could tell I'd been bitten. Staying in hotels as much as I do, there is always the occasional spider bite (heck, you get those even at home). My third night there I was under the covers and noticed myself really itching, I turned the light on, only to find and kill about 10 fleas (there are never just 10 fleas; those are only the ones I saw). Now for my Hotels.com experience. I immediately got on the line with Hotels.com (I'm FIVESTAR status with them so I don't know if that made a difference) and explained what had happened. I was speaking with a very helpful woman by the name of Judy. I told her that I did not want to stay there any longer and did not feel comfortable with a room change. She asked me if I wanted to move that night, but I declined because it was already 10:30 pm and I had to be up at about 4:30 in the morning. She said that she could refund my two nights that I hadn't stayed in my reservation and book me at another lodging. She called the hotel, alerted them to the situation and asked them to come and change the bed linens, which they did. She then issued me a credit for the unused portion of my stay and booked me accommodations at another hotel. So this morning I packed my bags up and left for work. I just hope nothing traveled with me. This afternoon I'll be checking into the new accommodations. I've stayed with this brand of hotel many times and have not found th Les mer

High price, but low quality. Sheets & blankets were very thin, bath mat was moldy, room was stuffy and it was impossible to control the airflow and temperature in the room.
"Homestead"
I booked this hotel for lack of better options. It was about what I expected. Had trouble with check-in because the room type I picked I thought had at least a couch bed in it, but it didn't. Tried to switch rooms with the late-night attendant, but she didn't speak English well and she had to call the owner to help me. "Not Bad for the Price"
This hotel was not bad considering the price. If you want a kitchenette it is worth it. Overall, it was fairly clean but the floor was really dirty (don't wear white socks if you take your shoes off). Just remember you get what you pay for so you can't expect too much more.
"Spend the extra money to go somewhere else"
This place is disgusting. I felt more dirty after I got out of the shower than when I got in. There are stains on everything like the carpet, the counter tops, the towels, etc. Basically, you get what you pay for.

The window that opened onto the open courtyard was not easy to lock. They was a lot of noise from young guests until 2 am.
"Great room for the money"
We had a good experience at this hotel. Due to the previous reviews, star rating and price we were not expecting much, hence they exceeded my expectations. We choose this hotel b/c the location was close to our business meeting place and we were on a budget. I knew they did not have an elevator and did not mind as I always take the stairs anyways (we […] did not have much lugage). Also since I knew they closed the front desk at 10pm, we called them 15 min before our arrival at 11:15pm and someone was there to check us in right away. We had a small problem with one of the stove not working, but they fixed it right away. I was able to save money cooking breakfast there. Les mer
