Very clean, hotel personnel friendly and efficient. A few miles (5?) from the expo center but worth the drive since the rates were lower than closer hotels. We would stay here again and probably will next year.

"Great Stay"
The stay at the hotel was right near the interstate and not far from the U of L football stadium, so it was close to where we were going and close to lots of places around town. Room was clean and comfy. Would stay at again.

"Days Inn in Louisville"
My friend and I stayed at the Days Inn for the Kentucky Derby weekend. It was a great experience. The hotel was a little dated but very clean. The room had a refrigerator and microwave in it. The hotel lobby was clean. There was a free breakfast that was very good. The hotel manager and family was responsive to our needs. They offered free shuttle rides […] to the Derby. We stayed here for one night before checking into our main hotel for Derby week. We arrived 2 hours after check in to find the door to our room propped open with no sheets on the bed. You could tell the housekeeper meant to do our room first since we were probably the only people staying on a Sunday night but simply forgot. We asked the front desk clerk […] what to do and she told us to wait 5 minutes and didn't bother to help. We found the housekeeper ourselves and she realized exactly what was going on, not a problem, she forgot. But the front desk needs to do their job, it isn't up to the customer to go searching for people to get their own room put together. Other than that this hotel is not near the airport (which luckly didn't matter to us this time), and the surrounding neighborhood is a little scary, didn't feel very safe with our cameras and laptop along. Great service and perfect for the price! When we checked in, the Manager offered to upgrade us to a suite! He gave us a room exactly where we wanted to be and we received a gift bag full of snacks!!!! We would absolutely stay there again!

Wow, what a horrible hotel. Requested non-smoking through Hotels.com over a month ahead of my stay. The fine print says they may not be able to guarantee your requests. They put me in a smoking room and it was horrible. The floors were so dirty that my kids' feet were black after walking up and down a couple times. (We didn't even let them in the hotel […] room it smelled so bad, so they stayed in the hallway while I looked for another room.) The manager/owner was argumentative when I went back to the desk and asked politely for a non-smoking room. The neighborhood is definitely a little shady. I definitely would not have felt safe with my car there overnight. Worst hotel I have ever been to. Les mer

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times now. Great place to stay at. The staff, the service, the rooms, the free internet, the food, the shuttle service everything was to satisfaction. I travel to Louisville a lot I think this will be my hotel of choice everytime.

"Breeders Cup hotel"
The hotel was within 5 miles of Churchill Downs. The staff were very accomodating. The hotel was right off the exit with numerous restaurants one exit east. We were only there to sleep and it was very quiet.
"Not an Airport hotel"
They were very accommodating to provide an airport shuttle, but you have to prepare for the 6 mile ride. The bed was a little bumpy, but the rest of the place was spotless.

We were very happy with the hotel as it was newer and very clean. Desk personnel friendly and helpful. There was a welcome packet in the room with sample products like toothpaste and Tylenol and I thought that was nice. Also got a free paper in the morning and a continental breakfast with toast - any hotel that has toast is tops on my list! There is […] not a lot around the hotel but there is a Thornton's which is open late or all night. Convenient to freeways - would definitely stay here again. Les mer
"Not Near Airport"
The hotel was exceptable for the price,but it should not be listed as near the airport. The hotel is actually no where near the airport.
"Overpriced for what you get"
I needed to stay an extra night and was charged way too much for a Sunday night. Not only that, on the morning of the extra day, the hotel clerk ran after me in the parking lot to tell me I needed to pay for the room when I came back for the day. How classless and rude. This hotel is nowhere near the airport.
