This hotel is listed as a "limited services, mid-range hotel". The value is outstanding -- sparkling clean, friendly and attentive staff. Free breakfast, hot food at dinner, complimentary drinks in evening for those preserving a budget. Microwave and 'frig in room. This chain has a new customer whenever possible.

Great place.... We will be back!

close to everything we wanted to do or see. The hotel staff was very professional and accommodating. We will definately stay there again when we visit New Orleans, as well as other places we might travel in the future. We had a very good experience at this hotel, were very impressed!

Stayed with family (wife, 2 toddlers and a dog). My wife was concerned with safety near French Quarter. Very safe place and elevators required keyed access to all floors.

I love this hotel and have stayed here several times. It's lovely, clean, and has great service. But the best part (to me) is all the perks and extras that are included free -- free drinks and a great food every day 5:30-7:00, free fast internet, free phone calls, and the cheapest parking in the area and it's right outside the door!

This hotel is at the corner of Poydras and Carondelet streets. The trolley runs down Carondelet and just two blocks away is Canal Street. Once across Canal Street you are right on Bourbon Street! A short walk down Poydras and you are at the Harrah's Casino! The Superdome is a short walk away also. Very comfortable, pleasant staff, convenient to everything. My only suggestion is some variations in breakfast foods and 5:30 snacks would be really great especially when you are there on a ten day business trip.

Loved the hotel and all amenities.Breakfast and evening manager's special (snack and drinks ) is a great bonus esp. with a 5 year old kid.reasonable parking fees.staff are wonderful.will highly recommend this hotel .HOWEVER ,watch the public restrooms downstairs,door knob was jammed and someone was locked in for 30 minutes and their relative has to […] call 911 to open the restroom door.staff was real nice and attended to that poor fella. This inn is very conveniently located just a few straight (no turns) blocks down from Bourbon Street, and for the price you get a whole lot for what you pay. Aside from the breakfast and dinner they provide, the service is great, the rooms and hotel are clean, and the beds are comfortable. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I like it a lot. It is very conveniently located and the staff makes sure you are well taken care of.

Trolley stop in front of the hotel. Very inexpensive way to see the city. The staff was very friendly. No complaints!

Have stayed at this lovely hotel on four occasions. The staff is outstanding with any requests, the rooms are beautifully appointed, the breakfast and breakout "dinner" are wonderful, and the pool on the roof is a must see! About a six block walk to the famous Riverwalk, and merely several blocks to french quarter.

The room was a pleasant surprise. Nice tall ceilings and clean. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast in the morning. Rooftop pool was a plus. Located within walking distance of French Quarter, Riverwalk, Art District. Trolley stop was at the corner. It was also in a cool historic building.

everything was great except for road noise and being able to hear other rooms. it is nice not to have to go out to eat supper or breakfast. both are free

Reasonably priced, clean & confortable. Staff is always available, friendly, and eager to help.

This was an excellent place to stay, we drove from Alabama, and the directions to the hotel were excellent. The location was perfect for transportation in and out of the French Quarter, with the St. Charles Street Trolley. The nice evening walks to Canal Street and Bourbone Street made the Hotel the best location in town. The Hotel Staff were very nice […] and knowledge able on all aspects of the area. They were very paitient and very friendly and heplful. We really enjoyed the comfort and relaxation the Hotel offered. The topside pool made it even cooler to enjoy the water. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The hotel was very clean. I liked the fact that you had to use your hotel key to get up the elevator. Made me feel very safe.

We booked the day before our arrival so I assume that's why we got a first floor room adjacent to the parking lot, although I would not consider it a negative. Looking back, I guess, I would've preferred a hotel closer to the attractions, but the convenience to the streetcar line and the ease of using our car , when needed, made up for the extra distance […] that we needed to go. Other hotels had outrageous parking rates and valet parking only. With that said, I would recommend the Drury, especially for families. It has exceptional value with all that's included in the price of the room. Last year, we stayed at a Drury Hotel in St. Louis, which is why we chose Drury again for our travels to New Orleans. The stay was excellent as well as the location. It was about two to three blocks from Canal road. I will suggest to others that Drury Inn & Suites services was at the top of the line. Security Pass Keys for everything within the hotel which made me feel very safe while on my business trip.

If you don't mind adding 5 minutes to your walk to the French Quarter, and you DO like saving money (on parking and a room) then this is your place! The ceilings were huge in the room.... not to mention that they give you free breakfast, hot dogs, and 3 drinks a day (at certain times)!!!!!! Rooftop pool and hot tub. Hotel was 20 minutes to Convention Center or Bourbon Street. They had a hard time keeping food available at nighttime reception. Breakfast was good. Limited seating available- crowded on Sat night. Overall good experience.

The stay was great. Location was exactly what we were looking for. Staff and service was great. Best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. Cant wait to stay again.

We were very impressed with this first class hotel and would highly recommend it. We used tripadviser.co.uk for reviews before booking this hotel and were definitely impressed how spot on they were.

This is a very nice hotel,only about 4 blocks from Bourbin St. I was a little worried about being in a big city and walking at night alone. Me being a woman with her adlut daughter.There was always alot of people walking around while we were out. I felt very safe here. The hotel staff here were all very helpful and nice. The hotel staff helped use book two different tours at the lobby of the hotel which was nice. The Drury Hotel in New Orleans is close to most major attractions in the city. Transportation around the downtown is available just outside the door. The staff was very courteous and accomodating.

My husband and I returned from a cruise and stayed at Drury Inn and Suites, we arrived early in morning and around noon called to see if we could park car and store luggage so we could sightsee. We were told we could, but she then stated she had a room and we could come on over. This hotel is very close to the trolley, and walking distance from The […] French Quarter. When we arrived in our room my husband wanted to know how much I paid for the room, lol, cause it was very nice. I chose this hotel because of the convenience to the NOLA pier for the NCL ship Spirit, closeness to the French Quarter so we wouldnt have to use transportation unless we chose to. Also the free breakfast and the 530 gathering time was a plus, free food and drink with your stay. I have stayed at Drury Inn and Suites before in Charlotte NC and was pleased with our stay as well. ONe of the complaints we had was this was a holiday weekend (memorial day) and we were there for only the one night, but the pool was closed for mantainance.. to put chlorine etc in, this should have been done during the week or at night when pool is closed to the guests. it was very hot and a dip in the pool would have been nice. Also the 530 time was good but when you have a full hotel and offer free food, dont you know that nearly all people will come down and eat. Especially people with kids so they dont have to spend a lot to feed them, we stood in line for the food for some time because they kept running out of food..chicken tenders, baked potatoes, the cheese for the nachos was ice cold, they kept running out of bowls and plates...otherwise this was a very enjoyable stay... and would stay there again when the occasion arises... This hotel is a nice surprise, quiet and enough off the beaten path, yet an easy walk to the French Quarter, the riverfront, and the central business district.. Great for a family stay. The breakfast and "Happy Hour" bars are very generous and convenient.

This hotel is very conveniently located close to the French Quarter and the conference center (walking distance). Friendly service. Our favourite was the breakfast and 5:30 kick-back. Lots of free food at both, three free alcoholic drinks with hot-dog dinner. Pool area was okay but needed more clean dry towels - all were gone by 8 pm. More trash cans […] needed in rooms. None near the desk area. Overall, very happy with our stay. Clean bedding etc - no bedbugs. Les mer

My son recently graduated from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, and we took the opportunity to travel to see this historic event, along with his 85 year old grandmother, 3 of his paternal aunts, and myself (his father) and my wife. He and his fiance were also able to join us at the Drury, where we had booked three rooms. Our stay there […] was very pleasant and convenient. The hotel is comfortable and centrally located. It was only a short walk from there to the French Quarter and also to Harrah's Casino for our entertainment and a short one mile drive to his graduation ceremony at the Convention Center. There was a nice rooftop pool and a small exercise facility for our use. The keyed elevators ensured privacy. And, the morning breakfast offerings and also evening drinks and entrees made the stay there much more affordable. We have already determined that we WILL try to stay there the next time we are visiting in New Orleans and will probably also have to search out Drury locations in other cities to give these hotels a try also. There were very few negatives about our stay at the Drury Inn and Suites in New Orleans. Les mer

Read the reviews and they were good and glad to say it was very good. Lovely decorated room and hotel. Looks classy as soon as you walk in the door. Free breakfast and kick start was a novel approach. A little further from the train station than I expected, had to take a taxi to catch train in early morning.

Right off the Streetcar route to take you to the French Quarter, Tulane & Loyola Universities, the best Restaurants or the Canal Street connections, the Drury is comfortable and quiet. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful - the desk staff, the cleaning staff, the general manager who came around at breakfast to ask how we were enjoying our stay. The room was attractive, clean and comfortable. And the evening happy hour was wonderful. The property was clean and appears to have been recently remodeled. The free breakfast and happy hour created a friendly environment. The location was a few blocks off of Bourbon, but still conveniently located. Small things, like a computer and printer in the lobby for printing boarding passes, as well as free wifi made it a very relaxing stay.

The standard of this hotel in relation to its star rating was a great surprise. It exceeded my expectations in every respect. The cleanliness and standard of the amenities was excellent and the extras they provide free of charge (including a free happy hour) is surprising and really makes you feel as if you are treated as a family member. We were very happy with this hotel. It was situated between the Garden district (where all the museums are) and the French Quarter ( all the music) - a 2 minute walk in either direction. The hotel itself was very clean. Both breakfast and dinner are included in the price, with sodas and popcorn throughout the day which we thought was an excellent service […] as it kept other expenses down. Loved the Drury Inn, the place is gorgeous! Great deal with all the free perks too. Free evening hot snacks and 3 drinks p/p per night plus the free long distance, and a great hot breakfast each morning. Really takes down the cost of a nights stay. Only one small complaint, the water pipes are really noisey, maybe it was just by our room 304? Luckly […] it seem to start around 6am but didn't last long, maybe some sort of water heater. Not enough of a bother that I wouldn't stay here again though, just odd. Great location we walked many times to the French Quarter. Les mer

The staff was very kind and all were very attentive to us, they always took care of any requests immediately. The hotel was clean and well taken care of. The breakfast bar and afternoon drinks and snacks are an excellent addition. The location of the hotel is an easy walk to the French Quarter and the Casino and Riverfront areas. There is a streetcar […] stop on the corner, so you can catch a streetcar if you don't want to walk. Cabs are also available and reasonable. This hotel proved the perfect place for myself and my husband to stay while I attended a conference and he biked around the city. The room was not huge, but perfectly sized for our needs -- a desk for me and enough floor space to allow for bike assembly and disassembly. The location was close enough to the FQ so that we could go there when we wanted […] (and to make a quick trip there for some pralines and beignets before leaving) but far enough away so that we didn't have drunks at every turn. And it was perfectly placed so that we could easily get to everywhere we wanted to go in the Warehouse District, the Garden District, ... Really, perfect. The front desk (and all of the other employees) were very nice and very accommodating. And the snacks (and drinks) were the perfect holdover between lunch and late dinner reservations.
