Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Airport - Miami

Great, the front desk service, the breakfast, the Security service, the room. We had a wonderful time here.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Great breakfast offered and pool is lovely. Location has drug, grocery and clothing stores immediately surrounding hotel to pick up forgotten items. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

Although this hotel was close to the airport and must-see locations, it needs a drastic overhaul. Even though we kept the air on, it would automatically shut down if we were not in the room so when we returned to the room, it was hot and humid. The drain in the tub was clogged so we had to call someone. Also, the carpet in the room had been patched […] and there were frayed ends from the patches which I thought were dangerous. Clean rooms, Great Breakfast, Great staff-Friendly and helpful. Convienent shuddle from Airport and to cruise ships! I would give them 4Stars!!

Biggest problem we had was their shuttle service coming from the airport..waited close to an hour even though they said they ran every half hour. Saw one shuttle with the hotel logo on it, flagged him down only to be told he didn't go there..and it was very hard to understand what he was saying..very strong accent. That driver was super rude. Convenient, clean, and very helpful staff. Shuttle to airport every 1/2 hour and you can print your boarding pass in the business center. Neighborhood is a little scary and there is no on site restaurant but the area is well lit.

We've been traveling to Miami every year for the last 10 years and stay at a different hotel each time. We were blown away with the staff, service, clean rooms and amenities.

These hotels meet a standard, always, every time. Good beds, very sheets and this time had a better than usual breakfast bar. Great location for cruisers who want a ride from the airport for FREE. Also offer a great deal on transport to the cruise terminal.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the hotel itself could stand some updating. My room was poorly lit and had an overall "dated" feel to it. The TV was a thick CRT with fuzzy reception and limited selection. In addition, the faucet in the shower had a steady drip all night while the toilet handle needed jiggled to stop the flush from […] running. Again, not an awful place by world standards, but certainly not the best hotel in the area. At nearly $30 cheaper than it's nearest competitor at the time of booking, I am satisfied with what I paid for. Les mer

The hotel was not bad, the staff at the desk are friendly. The tv in my room did not work so they upgraded me into a suite. its perfect to get to the miami airport with their free shuttle. Free internet which is always needed. I think free internet should be the norm at every hotel. It was clean and the room were cosy and the beds was comfy

The only glitch was that we waited FOREVER for our hotel shuttle and when we saw the name Hampton on the side of one van were told that we had to be certain which hotel we were staying at. The shuttle to the cruise ship the next morning was handled very well and we had not problem at all. Have a cell phone with you are the airport shuttle "help" phone […] does not work. Les mer

Great location for quick airport access and port. Shuttle service is a plus. For short stays is excellent fast foods and drug stores accross the street. Amenities ie pool, jacuzzi are great

My wife and me just finished a 3 weeks vacation in Florida, including one week cruise. We made the reservation to Hampton inn few weeks before the vacation. We stayed here overnight so we were close to the airport for an early departure. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. There's not much in the way of places to eat within walking distance (we did not bother with a car) but there are stores such as fast food, drug store and a small mall across the road. The shuttle to the airport took about 10 […] minutes and seemed to run frequently enough. All in all a very acceptable place. Do note that breakfast starts about 6AM and a packed breakfast is only available Mon to Friday for some reason. I'd recommend it as a quick place to stop. Les mer

Good location near Miami International Airport. Basic room, no complaints. Breakfast ok. Pool and jacuzzi. Hotel personnel helpful.

The free breakfast was good and there were plenty of choices. There were several fast food restaurants within a block and a Walgreens across the street. The shuttle service was good and we were picked up within 5 minutes of making the call and it was after midnight. we stayed 2 nights before our Ecuador Vacation and 0ne night onour return

Nothing outstanding about this hotel, its like any other hampton inn hotel. Room was clean and decent breakfast. Nothing outstanding. Would recommend it anybody on budget.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, but we were very disappointed as we arrived and saw a shield with the sentences : Sorry our pool and hot tube is closed. We didn't know this before :( The hotel is perfect to stay before departure, because you can go to the internet and do your online check in and print your tickets for free! So all in all the […] hotel is good for 1-2 nights before departure or after arrival, but i wouldnt stay much longer because you cannot really do anything in the neighborhood. Les mer

never heard a plane! didn't get to enjoy the lagoon as it was raining. got a shuttle at 5 a.m. no problem. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We got to the hotel at 10:00 from our cruise ship and they had a room for us by 11 a.m.

While it might not be a five star hotel, The afternoon staff help make my stay great. The two ladies that work the desk went out of there way to make sure i was taking care of. Beside that, the rooms were cozy and nice. I spent a week there and I can say it was really nice. If they put a fridge and mircowave in the rooms. itll be great

On my second night a/c unit stop working and I waited 50 minutes at 800pm to have someone come up to my room to try to fix it but no one showed so I was forced to go downstairs to reception to demand a room change! I or any guest should not have to wait that long for anything in a hotel! I stayed previously at this hotel and although the rooms are all claen and well laid out they were in the process of refurbishing rooms. It can only mean better service in the future.

We arrived at 2 am and our luggage was still at the airport. Your staff set us up with everything we needed. Breakfast was more than adequate and rooms very clean. The shuttle service to the airport was wonderful and ran until late in the night. Would definitely recommend.

Hampton Inn & Suites Blue Lagoon (Miami Airport) was a perfect choice for our family of 4 after 27 hours travelling from Australia. Very close to the airport with complimentary shuttle bus, we received a quick, friendly and courteous check in. The room had a typical 2 queen bed in one room layout, which was very clean and comfortable for our 1 night […] stay. The complimentary hot buffet breakfast exceeded our expectations, and was offered in a well maintained dining area. This was our first experience at a Hampton Inn and I will consider the chain again for future travel. I sincerely recommend this particular hotel very highly for those who need to be close to the airport. Les mer

we stayed here for one night so we could connect to another flight the next morning. we just needed a hotel close to the airport that wasnt trashy, and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The only thing wrong with this hotel was there had been a sprinkler system leak on the 10th-11th floor that they were cleaning up. This didnt bother us at all though, […] as it did not interfere with our stay at all. This stuff happens to everyone, so i wasnt worried about it. The price was just fine. The water pressure in the shower was tremendous! Free wifi, free breakfast buffet, and free transport to and from the airport every 30 minutes. Staff was friendly, and answered to our every need. Great combination of cleanliness, comfort, and convenience. It's not 5 staf but it definately works! There are very nice restaurants literally across the street, covered parking in the hotel, and a short drive to Dolphin mall and ofcourse the airport. I will be returning there on my next trip!

I arrived late in Miami to find a 30min Queue for taxi's so I rang the hotel, a friendly receptionist said I was expected and would send the shuttle and within 5 mins I was on the shuttle bus and 5 mins later I was at the hotel. I received a warm welcome and all ameneties were explained to me - gym, pool, comp breakfast or breakfast bag if I was leaving […] before 6am, which I was. The room was spotless, a good size with tea, coffee, internet, good shower, king bed, desk etc. All in all just what a business traveller needs.. I have stayed at literally many hundreds of hotels over my life and I have never filled out a survey but I am filling this one out. I purchased eight rooms for a group of us that were returning from outside the country and needed a hotel for the evening. My final selection of this hotel was made because their shuttle service ran from 5AM - until midnight […] or 1 A.M. Before leaving the country I called to make sure there would not be a problem to transport 16 people and suitcases and they told me to call when I landed because the shuttle ran every 30 minutes and this would enable them to accommodate everyone. Therefore I called them from the plane when we landed at 8:22 telling them that we would not make it upstairs before 9:00 and that we would be there for the 9:30 shuttle. At 9:08 we were at curbside and I called telling them we would be there for the 9:30 shuttle. At 9:40 no Hampton Inn Shuttle had passed us. I called and spoke to a young lady who said it was on its way and would be there in a couple of minutes. 10:00 PM came and went. I called again the same answer. 10:15 came and went and my call was answered by a gentleman who told me the same thing. I told h him exactly where we were standing. At 10:30 I lost it when they said they were sending a shuttle for us but it would not accommodate everyone. At 10:35 the first shuttle came and took the first bunch. The second shuttle that was supposed to pick up our second group picked up a family of four that were standing curbside as well. When the others saw the van pass them they ran out to catch the driver’s attention. He said he was full and they would have to wait. When that van arrived I asked the driver where the others were and the driver said he didn’t have room. I asked if he was going back to get them and he said in 30 minutes. I then went to the front desk and I don’t know what they told him but he went back for them. Needless to say I was very frustrated because by the time we all were at the hotel it wa Les mer

My 2 kids and I stayed here for one night prior to leaving for our cruise. It is close to the airport and about 15min drive to Port of Miami. The hotel staff was excellent. Very kind and helpful. Continental Breakfast was great (eggs, bacon/sausage, toast, make your own waffles, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruits etc...) I would highly recommend this hotel. […] Price of hotel was great too!
