Det første som møtte oss var lyden av bølgeskvulp, så mistanken om at utsikten var perfekt stemte godt da vi våknet neste morgen. Sol og sjø er vakkert, selv om balkongen var veldig liten, plass til 2 sittende, var utsikten upåklagelig. Vi hadde alt vi trengte, litt trangt om plassen med 4 personer på et rom, men man får hva man betaler for, pluss litt til.

"Good value"
The stay would have been great but for one thing - the WIFI never worked in the room. They swore the access point was live outside my room, but upon further questioning it was up a floor and over several rooms. I called their internet customer service line and was told they don't service this hotel, but the hotel people said that was not true. They […] gave me a bridge to hook up that was supposed to help but it didn't. I ended up just going down to the lobby to use the WIFI there where the signal was good. However, becuase I planned to work during the trip it was a great inconvenience. The fact is my particular room was not close enough to an access point to get proper service. Les mer
Hotel was great. Glad we chose this hotel - we haven't had any bad experiences with any Hampton Inns. Pool looked like it could use some special cleaning - however being on the beach upkeep is especially difficult. It wasn't gross, but you don't want it to get that way. We will stay there again.

If you want to get away from the crowd at Daytona then The Hampton at Daytona Shores would be a perfect place to stay. The beach is quieter and more family friendly, the hotel facility is great and the rooms are clean. Free Breakfast is included as are free delicious warm baked Cookies everynight starting at 7:30. "Perfect Spring Break!"
This hotel was a favorite! The location was great, the staff was exceedingly accomodating and the weather couldn't have been better! We would definitely reserve a spot here again and have told all of our friends to do the same.

I had to take this room due to a lack of planning but was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and friendly staff. Even though the room was a smoking room, it was barely noticeable. The only negative that I experienced was the parking lot under my balcony window with faced the ocean. If I'm paying for an ocean view, I'd rather look at a pool or beach […] than a parking lot. This hotel was in a great location for us, close enough to the airport and its in the "mix" of things! Loved our oceanfront room, wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the beach! Would come back again!

Hampton Inn-Oceanfront on Atlantic was AMAZING! The room was thoroughly cleaned and stocked for my stay. The staff was friendly, attentive and provided courtesy calls to ensure my guest and my needs were fulfilled at all times. The view of the ocean was indescribable! The only negative would be the lack of electrical sockets available for phone chargers, […] computers, etc. My personal favorite while staying at Hampton Inn-Oceanfront; the Continental Breakfast and the special treats provided daily for a late night snack...but you'll have to book a room to find out what treats I speak of. Can't give away all the goodies! I will definitely stay here in the future and suggest this hotel for everyone who likes luxury, peace, quiet and fun for a reasonable price. Being in the tourist area of the city, you will also be within walking and short driving distance to Daytona's best restaurants, shops and bars. ENJOY! Les mer

"Great for price"
I visit family that live right across street from this hotel. Its the best hotel in the area for a great price. I've stayed in other hotels in that particular area and this is definitely the best, by far! If you are looking to be close to the pier and bars then this may be too far south for your taste.
"A WONDERFUL place to stay!"
My husband and I and our two year old daughter have stayed here many times. The breakfast is delicious! I love waffles. The location, being in Daytona Beach Shores, is a bit far from all the action around the pier and Bandshell, but that is to be expected. You are right on the beach and it is quiet. The pool party on Saturdays is GREAT - good music, […] karaoke and free lunch! How great is that? The rooms are very clean and the bed is superb. "Very Happy with this Hotel"
Friendly Staff, Clean, nice breakfast, fresh baked cookies in the evenings, beach toys and chairs to use free of charge, Fair prices for vending machines. Great view from our room. If you go to the Hotel be sure to go to Aunt Catfish's to eat. Food was to die for. If I go back to Daytona I will for sure stay here again. Good value for the money. "Hampton Inn, Daytona Shores"
We had a wonderful time at the Hampton Inn. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accomodating. I wish I could remember the names of the employees, but I can't. The guy that works the 3:00pm front desk shift was always helpful no matter how much he had going on. The guy who does all kinds of odd jobs( cleaning poolside door windows, mopping the lobby...) […] was very sweet and helpful. The hotel is very clean and our room was just perfect. The location is great if you want the quiet area of Daytona, very little driving on the beach compared to the Northern area of Daytona. Would definitely stay there again. Les mer
"Hampton Inn Daytona Shores-Oceanfront"
Very nice accommodations. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Homemade cookies from the desk in the early evening. We had an oceanview room with a nice balcony and view of the ocean. Pool was well maintained. It was close to restaurants and gift shops and minigolf. We had a very nice time!

We went to the beach for memorial day and at the last minite book thru hotels.com and the staff was friendly and helpful I would recommend this hotel.
Good value for the price, great location on the beach. Unbelievable how few food choices there were nearby, though.
Daytona Beach Shores-everything was perfect for our entire stay-fresh room, wonderful staff, yummy breakfast and cookies at night :0) I would choose to stay there my next visit to Daytona-wouldn't look around for anything better! Thanks for making our weekend a wonderful hotel experience! :0)

We had a great time at this hotel. The room was great. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great. The cookies were good. Yum.
"Enjoyed the Hotel"
Good hot breakfast but could have been more than just eggs. The pool and spa were great with dry towels at the front desk. The bed could have been softer. The parking is tight but always found a space. Had to drive a ways to find restaurants as only a few in the area. Price of the room could have been lower but the oceanfront view was worth it.

The only negative thing I could say is that the parking isn't the most convenient. But they had a lot directly across the street to accomodate the overflow. Other than this minor item, the hotel was outstanding.

this was our first stay in Daytona Beach, after reading the prior reviews we knew this would be a safe bet, and we were right. Breakfasts were great, and the hot dish changed daily. My only surprise was the rate posted was for single occupancy and not double, therefore a extra 10.00 per night was added on to our bill. "Fine with one BIG Problem"
Nice and Clean with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Good coffee available at all times. Free breakfast was OK, but always crowded and they could use more tables. THe entrees were run of the mill but had nice selection of rolls, cereals, fruit, yogurt, etc. BUt, here is the really BIG problem. On Saturdays, they have a cook-out at the pool with […] a DJ, free food (hot dogs) and KAraoke. This is LOUD LOUD LOUD. I was looking forward to spending the day at the pool, but it was just horrible, especially with all the screeching of the kids doing the karaoke. I would not mind this so much, except it went on and on and on and on. Unless you wanted to participate in this craziness, you could not enjoy the pool at all on Saturdays. And it went on until about 8 pm! IT was so loud, we could not hear our TV on the 6th floor. When we complained about how long this was lasting, they were very dismissive and said they do it every Saturday. As if that made it OK. They seem to beleive the guests love it but I heard many people complaining and by 6 pm there were only a handful left in the pool area and they were drunk. A manager with any sense would have ended it right then. I will nto go back because of this. Also, I heard them quoting a price to a walk-in with no reservations that was the same as my hotels.com price. I figured we got at least some discount, but obviously we did not. Les mer
