The building and especially the lobby are beautiful and the extras are many. Breakfast, afternoon meal and popcorn are all included. But in my book this does not qualify to hit the top marks. The hotel is huge and it is a un-personal machine. There are huge lines for every meal, and the meals are served on plastic plates. My room did not feel perfectly clean and the bed linen were old and should have been replaced. The location is great.

Historisk sus og følelse. Det som mangler på standard (kunne vært opp-pusset en del av rommene) finner du i hotellet forøvrig. Fantastisk flott restaurant og nydelige omgivelser forøvrig.

"Hampton in San Antonio on Gold Canyon"
Our family had to travel to San Antonio for a funeral. The hotel was in the perfect location - 3 blocks from the funeral home. The staff was friendy, rooms were clean, bathrooms nice, breakfast good. We arrived at the hotel after 9 p.m. and they had hot coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies. My son forgot his toothbrush and I cut my hand. The front […] desk had a toothbrush and bandaids. "No Indoor Pool!"
Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. I've always had a very good experience at the Hampton Inn. My only complaint is that they advertise an indoor pool and they do not have one. I read a review from last year that said the same thing so I called the number at the top of the page underneath the name of the hotel to ask if they had an indoor pool. […] The person that I spoke to said that they had an indoor AND an outdoor pool. He went on to say that they were under renovations at the time of the earlier review I mentioned. I loved the cleaniness of our room, and the overall surrounding of the hotel. The staff was was friendly and very helpful in all our questions. I loved all the beautiful area stores, homes, and apartments in the area, plus, i loved it more because its right across the street from my daughter' s home .

I loved the hotel it was clean and staff was friendly check out was a breez, the breakfast included eggs and sausage. Parking was not a problem. We arrived late due to a flat tire called the hotel and wrote us in as late arrival. I would stay there again and recommende to fam and friends.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean. The staff was very friendly. Only complaint is that the breakfast ran out quicker than the staff could restock and as soon as it was 10 am they started shutting everything off even thou there were a number of people still in line. "Hampton Inn in San Antonio (Canyon Rd)"
Our short stay was very pleasant. The continental breakfast room was well maintained and very clean. The food was good and well prepared. Decor and furnishings were very pretty and comfortable. Location was great...easy to get on and off main thoroughfares. Definitely will return and seek another Hampton Inn on our upcoming trip to New Orleans.

Great place the only problem/incident was that on the internet it said indoor pool, but when we got there it was outside and it was too cold to swim.....but no major complaints.....awesome place

I don't care if it happens one morning in my five-day trip, but the lack of Water, not just hot water, the lack of any water due to a pressure drop, is unacceptable. Nor is it acceptable to not outline and offer an immediate resolution. This hotel was just like any other hampton inn, except there was low water pressure and then no water, there is no […] wireless internet and the cable ISDN connection to my room did not work, the movie rental exited the system and shut off the TV completely as soon as I pressed the pause button, the "workout" room was at 75% -- the treadmill did not work -- one of only four pieces of old equipment in a 7x18 foot "fitness center" Too bad, I've stayed at maybe 100 hamptons and this one is just not what I expected. There is however a H**ters rip-off restaurant nearly adjacent, so if you're into that sort of experience, check out the Tilted Kilt. The food is appropriately tasteless. Les mer

Excellent quality of food, good variety with new main dish each day, wait-person available to clean tables immediately or offer help. I have not stayed in any hotel that excels in the breads and muffins offered. Tip for the hotels: bring in a company's kiosk and let us buy our own nice pastries rather than rely on "store-bought" and often day-old f […] ood. Les mer
