Hotellet var helt greit.Rommet var ok.Ikke der du oppholder når du er på tur,men badet var en katastrofe.Hadde ventet bedre.Grei avstand til de forskjellige severdigheter.Personalet i resepsjonen snakket bra engelsk,men ellers var det kun fransk.Hadde rom i 6.etg.mot gaten så det var en god del trafikkstøy.

Vi boode på hotellet i 5 dager. Det ligger 2 Metro-stopp unna Champs Elysses, men det er kun det eneste positive vi har å komme med. Bildene på hotels.com er ikke i tråd med virkeligheten, generelt dårlig service. Har vært mye ute og reist, sjeldent opplevd et verre hotell. Det er lite tid man er på hotellet, men dette anbefales ikke.

Et helt greit hotell til dere som drar på tur for å være ute, og ikke sitte på hotellrommet. Rommet var helt greit med de viktigste fasiliteter. Hotellet derimot, ligger 3 minutter gange unna to metrostopp (st lazare og st. augustin) som server forskjellige linjer. Disse tar deg lett rundt til alle plasser verdt å nevne i byen. Området rundt hotellet […] var også helt greit, med småbutikker, cafeer og bistroer. Hotellet ligger kun 5-10 minutts gange unna de to store kjøpesentrene i Paris. Les mer

Ved ankomst fikk vi tildelt et rom hvor spyleknappen på toalettet (som forøvrig var fylt med papir++) var revet ut av veggen slik at det kun var et stort hull igjen der. Fikk imidlertid et nytt rom uten problemer. Ellers var det ekstremt knirkete senger, småhull i veggene på bad, noe sopplignende i dusjen, hull i vannslangen i dusjen (så mesteparten […] av vannet kom ut der) og ingen aircondition. Det var et greit hotell med passe store rom. Det var rent og det ble redd opp og vasket litt hver dag. Vi var så uheldige at vi fikk rom mot veien så det bråkte en del om morgenen og vi måtte ha vinduet oppe for airconditionanlegget virket ikke. Beliggenheten til hotellet var veldig bra, det var metro og resturanter like ved og gåavstand til Champs […] Elysees. Og dessuten snakket de ansatte ved hotellet bra engelsk og var hjelpsomme. Men alt i alt var det et ba hotell som jeg gjerne ville kommet tilbake til, så jeg anbefaler det gjerne til andre. Les mer

Her manglet det meste: AC under hetebølgen ute av drift. Meget støyfulle rom mot gaten. Måtte skifte rom dagen etter ankomst. Elendig rengjøring, toalettbørste manglet i alle rom. Doen var uappetittelig. Stort hull i veggen i badet. Badekaret var ikke rengjort i hjørner og fuger. Her kunne man plukke ut gammel skitt med fingrene. Bathroom nice and tiled, but with a huge hole in the wall into a ventilation duct. Paint falling of the ceilings, worn out and extremely noisy beds. We started in room 204, facing the main road. For some reason it was extremely hot in the room although no heaters were on. Maybe it is close to a heat source? Opening the window to vent is not an option […] because of the heavy traffic around the clock. After not being able to sleep we got room 205 at 2am. Same standard, but cooler and windows facing the silent back yard. Nice Italian restaurant on ground floor. Hotel staff helpful and speaks english. The best thing about the hotel is the location. Close to most main attractions. Hotel offers Airport shuttle, but if you can walk 15 min to the Opera the RoissyBus offers the same ride for half the price. Les mer

Hotellet mangler aircondition, reklameres med de har det, men den fungerte ikke. Ved spørsmål ovenfor resepsjonen, sa de at den var under reperasjon. Men ser at andre har klagd på dette tidligere, så den fungerer sikkert ikke på generel basis. Sengen var god å ligge i, men var fryktelig knirkete. Rommet ble rengjort fint hver dag - ingenting å utsette […] på service i resepsjonen etc. God tilgang til metro, og gå avstander til det meste hvis du liker å bevege deg en del. Les mer

Veldig bra beliggenhet. Flere av serverdihetene ligger i gangavstand fra hotellet (Madeleine, Opera Garnier, Galleries Lafayette, Place Vendome, Louvre), og metroen ligger like ved. Vi bestilte et 3mannsrom, men fikk et twin room med ekstra seng. Vi valgte å ikke klage på dette, fordi rommet vendte mot bakgården. Gata var ganske trafikkert og bråkete. […] Veldig knirkete senger. Ekstrasengen var også dårlig (man kunne kjenne fjørene.) Som et minus bør det nevnes at den italienske restauranten på hotellet blir drevet av en veldig snakkesalig (les: masete) italiener som svært gjerne vil ha deg til å spise hos ham. Les mer

Beliggenhet v Gare St Lazare, ikke helt praktisk for RER og metro fra CDG med tung koffert, men stille og sentralt i hverdagen. Vi bodde i toppetasjen hvor det kun var ett værelse, sjarmerende å bo "på kvisten", begrenset utsikt, men likevel..

Helt ok hotell midt i sentrum av Paris. Verken mer eller mindre. Badet er stort og pent med stort badekar. Personalet snakker bra engelsk og er serviceinnstilt (etter Paris-standard). Beliggenhet rett i næærheten av 2 metrostasjoner. Helt ok gangavstand til flere av Paris populære bydeler. Vinduer ut mot traffikert vei gjør det umulig å sove med vinduer […] åpne. Air-condition virker ikke. Kan være veldig pes dersom varmt ute! Frokost er sparsommelig og ikke verdt å bruke penger på. Vær obs på at hotellet skal ha en "miljøavgift"(?) på 1,20euro per natt per pers, så dette må legges til i prisen. Dette blir man ikke gjort oppmerksom på før man sjekker inn. Les mer

This is not a hotel for those who are going after comfort. The previous reviews were all true that the interior is shabby, the beds squeak, and the staff are not so attentive. In our bathroom, there was a big hole on top of the wall, which I think they just drilled it for ventillation. My daughter was haunted by imagining that some rat might come running […] out from there! I'm sure people read the reviews before they booked, as I did, which wasn't encouraging at all. But people still seem to come and stay. And that's because of the location and the price. As tourists, most of the time you're out, and you come back to the hotel, take a shower and go to bed. This hotel satisfies that with the super location and good price coming on top. Whether we stay again? Most likely not. We'll look for Hotels in other Paris neighborhoods. Les mer

The staff is nice, the rooms are OK if you plan on being there for a minimal amount of time. The rooms are dark and old and there is no housekeeping after 3 or 4pm (including maintenance). So everything you need, or that needs attention must wait until to the next day. The hotel is safe and in a good area for walking. However, I wouldn't recommend […] a woman alone staying there. Lastly, and just my pet peeve. There is no good internet access. Not from the hotel's free access in the lobby only or buying access through Orange Wifi. Neither worked well at all. Les mer

Good place to choose if you want access to city center. Very close to metro station and bus station. Close to gallaries lafayte. Many restaurants near by.

Doesn't deserve a three star, lobby is tidy, life is dodge, the tripple room is just a twin room + a bed you would see in hospitals in old days. Terrible feeling. Receptionist is the worst I have ever seen.

Great location for the metro less than 2 minutes walk from a stop. Went as a couple for a city break. Great value from hotels.com. Would recommend to other couples. Really enjoyed our time here and would come back again if ever in Paris.

Yes this is a hotel in the capital city, and it was in a pretty good location, but: - The room was very small - The bed was creaky - There was noisy plumbing gurgling away all night - There were not tea/coffee making facilities in the room - The bathroom had a peeling ceiling over the shower, and broken marble around the sink - No included breakfast, […] despite the price For the price we paid I'd certainly not recommend this hotel to others. We were three friends staying in a room, the extra bed was really not that great but at least I slept decently enough in it. Our bathroom had a bathtub, which was a great plus. We were very satisfied with the location of the hotel, and found it to be a quite cheap and nice place to stay.

A Hotel with a great location. Got my booking at a reduced price, great spacious room and nice bathroom. And even with this great location, very quite and no disturbing traffic. THE HOTEL HAD/ HAS, HOWEVER, a major drawback. Terrible beds, and every time one made a move -- and I believe I'm moving a bit during sleep -- the construction made a lot of […] noise, resembling a minor earthquake. I probably woke myself four times during night, and didn't sleep too well. Recommendable? OK for a night if prepared to have a night with bad sleep, but not for longer stays. This hotel is in a good location, but we probably would not stay there again. Walking distance to many sights of the city. The hotel itself was not very clean and the bed was very sqeaky. Close to some good restaurants and a Monoprix (the target of Paris).

The hotel staff were very polite and friendly, plenty of hot water and that is the end of the good part. In an European city you can expect the rooms to be small but this one put that to the test. Nothing open around the hotel at night so you had to use the subway to get anywhere so why stay there. I should have read the other reviews before booking, […] I would not stay there again. Terrible hotel! On the website, it said air conditioning is included, but when we got there, it wasn't working. The room was very hot and uncomfortable. The window let in no air, only lots of sound. The shower wouldn't drain properly, and when we informed front desk, we were told (rudely), that someone would take care of it, but they never did. The […] man at the front desk was extremely rude! On our 2nd night, there was a fire alarm, and we were evacuated. There was no power at the hotel, so we got moved to a MUCH NICER hotel. That was the only bonus. Les mer

There's no air conditioning that works. Rooms are tight. Bathroom had mold in the sink and shower area. Only good thing about the hotel is the location. Very close to St. Lazare and St. Augustin

And if it is a warm night and you have to leave the windows open, the noise is even worse. Hotel location is good for the turists. It is possible to walk to the metro and train at The gar in 50 meter distance. It is also possible to walk to louvre museum, very close to Champ elizee and eifel tower. Hotel service was over avarage, personel were helpfull for information we needed. I didn't feel clean is this hotel as it is run-down in all the areas that I used and they were not as clean as they might be. The mould on my bathroom walls could easily have been removed but it wasn't and the hole in the wall in the bathroom revealed the hotels plumbing and fibre-glass insulation. Pros: - This hotel is inexpensive when compared to other hotels in Paris. - Our room was always very clean. - It was located 5 mins away walking from Saint-Lazare metro station if plan on exploring Paris by train; however, we ended up mostly walking. - Located 5-10 mins walking to Cityrama tour agency wehre you can catch a hop on and off city bus and other tours. - There's a small grocery store on the same street where you can buy water or light breakfast, our room had a tiny fridge. - Our bathroom was fairly large by European standards, had a nice shower, clean towels, and soap/shampoo. Cons: - The airconditioning in the rooms and hallways does not work and if you are going in the summer/ealry fall, you must have it in the hotel. Trust me! If you are an American, you are used to air conditioning in your cars, offices, stores, etc., you will feel discomfort. We ended up sleeping with an open balcony and had to use ear plugs because of the traffic noise at night. - The hotel is not in a central location and most attractions like Louvre were a good 25 mins away walking. - We had a room with two sqeeky beds but due to being tired every day we slept well. - There is no concierge at this hotel, so do not expect assistance with booking tours, restaurant reservations or receive suggestions for things to do. Well situated hotel: metro/train station, great eateries within walking distance. The hotel is average - read old. However, a great value for Paris if you are there to see the sites. I would stay there again.

This hotel is in walking distance (within 5 mins) from St Lazare station. The street is quiet at night and the building oppopostie the hotel is vacant so we got some good sleep at night. I recommend anyone who is looking for leisure travel with convenience. The room we stayed in was in Ok conditon. The only thing to complain is that there is no shower […] curtain/ glass door in the bathtub so needed to be careful not to flood the floor. Les mer

This is not four or five star, it is three star and good value. We found the room to be a decent size, the air conditioning worked well, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean with everything working as it should. The bed linen was changed during our three day stay and had clean towels each day. We ate only once in the hotel - decent food […] and expensive wine but convenient for our first night. A pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. We didn't partake of breakfast so cannot comment on that. If you like early morning drinks take your kettle as facilities are not provided. We did not use the mini bar as these are always overpriced but bought in supplies from the local supermarket. Double glazing and air conditioning were both efficient sodidn't suffer any noise. There are a few good restaurants nearby, we particularly enjoyed the St Augustin at the end of the road - to the right on leaving the hotel. Transport is brilliant - the St Augustin metro is just around the corner and St Lazarre station is just two minutes walk. There are plenty of buses in the vicinity. Galeries Lafayette and Printemps are just down the road if you enjoy fantastic shopping. If not it's worth going and having a quick look, at Galeries Lafayette; it's spectacular. One downside to this hotel is that you have to pay for the television, which is added to your bill, and they don't declare the cost - but who needs television on holiday? Les mer

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in mid-July 2009. There were 2 issues which greatly disappointed us. When we first checked-in, there was no air-conditioning despite it was stated as one of the facilities of the hotel on the website when deciding to make the booking. It was later learned that the air-con system had been out of order for a period […] of time without repair. Of course, there was also nothing done to that during our stay. The 2nd issue was that the beds were squeaky due to the loose wooden frame holding the mattress. Such noise was heard each time when a turn of the body was made during sleep. We stayed in this hotel late June/early July 2009 for 5 nights. The staff were all friendly and spoke english. The room was a good size, and had a more modern but down-to-earth look and was cleaned everyday including new towels everyday. The bathroom was clean and a good size, the bath/shower was a standard size, and there was plenty of room at the […] sink. Problems: air-conditioning was rubbish so we had to sleep with the window open, and since our room window looked over a busy street where there seemed to be lots of cars and car horns even in the early morning hours we didn't sleep well. In addition to this the safe didn't work, but the staff have a key for everybody's safe anyway so it's just as safe to keep your valuables in your suitcase. The beds were not the best quality, they were extremely creeky even at the slightest movement, and the pillows felt like someone had just shoved a handful of cotton in a bag. There is a mini-market on the same street called Monop' which was very useful, as well as a larger version of the shop a few minutes walk in the other direction. There are endless numbers of cafes and restaurants and some fast-food places for home-comforts like mcdonalds and pizza hut. There is an italian restaurant in the hotel, which we didn't eat at but it looked nice enough. The hotel is 5 minutes walk away from St.Augustin underground station which came in handy for getting around. Les mer

Hotel room was large for Paris standards. Location was ok..I would have preferred to have been closer to the subway as it was 3 blocks away. Hotel offered a breakfast which was good. Hotel generally was in need of renovation, but you can't argue with the price.
