Uansett hva du gjør, IKKE bo her. For å fatte meg i korthet. Fikk rom andre bodde på 3 ganger på rad,rommene var ikke rengjort, det var en brukt kondom under sengen, stedet gikk for å være et mottak for prostitusjonsaktivitet. DU vil IKKE bo her!!!! Rangeringen på 1 er kun for at det ikke finnes 0 eller minus.

Bar i bakgården, så veldig mye støy, svære panoramavinduer som gjør at hvis ikke er veldig glad i at folk stirrer på deg når er på rommet må man ha gardinene lukket og da blir det rimelig stusselig. Men store senger og Reint til en billig penge, så for ett par dager på stranden er det brukbart.

Hotellet holder en svært lav standard, er slitt og kan kun anbefales om man har et særdeles stort behov for å bruke lite penger på overnatting. Beliggenheten er derimot svært bra og nærmere stranden kommer man ikke, samtidig som at det er relativt kort vei til flyplassen. Ville nok heller spandert noen ekstra hundrelapper og funnet et noe bedre hotell […] i samme området. Les mer

Dette er noe av det mest møkkete hotellet jeg noen gang har vært inne på. Ikke rent sengetøy når vi kom. Fikk til slutt et sengetøy fra et annet rom og måtte re opp sengen selv. Kosten de bruker til å koste gulvet med brukes også på bordene. Grisete rett og slett!

Pretty nice hotel close to the beach, so it's worth the money. We came here late Saturday night, very tired after a long day. Think a lot of teenagers come here to party, because they were playing loud music from the bar until about 2am, so it was hard to sleep. I stayed here two days and it was not worth it. My friend had a "suite" and there was no difference at all. And the room wasnt even clean, we found an empty cigarette carton in the drawer and the bathroom was dirty. It was not worth it. And the staff was not very friendly. The hotel is in a good location, however, it is poorly maintained and not very clean. Curtain wasn't securely hung and the floors were dirty. Definately time for an upgrade to the property. Also, there is minimal parking. I had to pay $11 for parking when I checked in, but when I returned to the hotel later that evening, there were no parking spots […] available so I ended up parking in a metered space and getting a $32 parking ticket. I guess you get what you paid for but Tropic Cay Hotel has to be hands down the worst hotel on the strip. The room was very dingy and gloomy. My toilet was busted and ran all night long. This is and in-expensive hotel and its really great for a one night stay. Its close to be beach, and the port. Also the front desk cleak is really helpful and freindly. I won't recommend this hotel for long term stay.

The price was right and the location was great (just across the street from the beach). The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well. Front desk staff could have been friendlier.

This hotel was not clean at all. The AC did not work in our room. It was very unsanitary to say the least! The pool bathroom was out of toilet paper, I told the man at the front desk his reply was to use the bathroom next door! Completly unacceptable! I would not ever recommend this hotel to anyone!! This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! We tried calling other hotels and getting another one but they were all sold out so we were forced to stay. We slept with out beach towels and wore our sandals in the shower and did not close the curtain because we didn't want to touch it. Our room was so moist it had water literally dripping down the […] walls and mold was growing on the ceilings. The walls were falling apart and the door jams were all broken. This room had a terrible mildew odor and gave you the feeling of dirtiness. The first to check us in was quite rude, another was very helpful and friendly. I would NOT recommend if you plan on going to sleep before 3:00 a.m. Extremely loud DJ at the bar that can be heard from all rooms.

The "resort" is old, dirty and the staff was not helpful at all. I could have paid a little bit more and stayed at the HILTON! As I went through the week I was informed of additional charges; parked car, etc. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

This hotel is horrible! I don't think they ever clean! The hallway just getting to the room will make you scared for your life. Trash and mold everywhere! No carpet in any of the rooms with mold and dirt all over the floors. They don't clean or restock the room with anything while you are there. The bathroom door didn't shut, the shower floor was disgusting, […] and the towels had stains on them. They don't give you fresh towels everyday, you have to give them your current towels so they can "wash" them. All the surfaces in the room were dirty when we arrived and the tv was going out. The sheets and coverings were stained and also no fitted sheets. Woke up the first night and the floor had water everywhere from the air conditioner. The bar downstairs is disgusting, also loud until around 3 in the morning. The bar crowd is interesting to say the least. Never went into the pool, was to disgusted by the rest of the place to try it. The staff was less than friendly. There is really no parking, they have a back lot, it was an abandoned grass lot two blocks away with no signs or an entrance. Parking also costs extra for each day. Should have checked out after the first night but the other people I went with didn't want to hassle with changing hotels. Tropic Cay Beach Resort is very rundown. The room we had was dirty - the floor was especially grimy. We chose this hotel because it was across from the beach, and close to the airport. But the state of the room, and noise from the hotel bar, were awful. I would definetly not stay here again.

No towels in room upon arrival, had to take them from another open room. Our request for towels was ignored. A roach the size my big toe ran out from under the bed nearly missing my feet. The employees couldn't be nicer!!! The access to the beach is perfect!! But, unfortunately, that is the end of the positive feedback. The rooms are extremely outdated, rundown & dirty. I have never stayed In a place as filthy as this, my socks we so dirty (black) from walking around the room I left them there. Dead bugs on the floor, black dirt or mold in the tub/wall seams, window that wouldn't lock, horribly dirty bed skirt. I could go on and on.....I do have a lot of pictures to prove it all. Frist off, all I can say this is by far the worst hotel I have every stay at. The rooms are nothing like the picture’s show. It is a rundown motel. Also, if you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. The hotel has a bar in the middle that has music playing till 2:00am. Jonathan the front desk agent has the worst people skills I have ever seen. When I called in to discuss my reservation as I had to leave one day early due to my father having a heart attack he hung up on me. TWICE. Room was gross. We had no towels. The worst part was the bathroom. EWW! The pictures made this place look alot nicer then it was, which is why I booked it. To top it off, the staff was very rude. Especially the maid!! Pay the extra twenty bucks and go somewhere else

This was an ok hotel for the price. It's right across the street from the beach and close to all the attractions in Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Hotel was in a good location however it was extremely dirty an unhygienic. There were hand prints on the walls and mould in the bathroom and the bed sheets were dirty. When we asked for our deposit back they tried to give us $50 instead of the $100 we gave and then argued that we made a mistake...lucky we kept the receipt. Not nearly as bad as some reviews say. Clean enough if rough around the edges, good location, not too expensive. The bar is loud, so bring something to deaden the late-night noise if you're not planning to stay up. Personally, I liked the bar.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT stay at this "hotel", its a run down piece of garbage. What a awful experience we had. Long story short... We Left! We ended up going somewhere else. Rooms were disgusting, dirty, and not kept up at all. Air conditioning didn't work, walls, beds, doors all in major need of repair. We had to change rooms three times. It was OK. If you are looking for an inexpensive choice ocean front in Fort Lauderdale, then this is easily sufficient enough. It was average, but I would stay again.

The door was bent from being kicked in. Noise from bar. Not A 3 Star hotel. Pool dirty. Smell in room. On the positive side right across the street was the beach.The outside of the hotel was nice. Over all I would not stay there again.

The wireless Internet don't work, or they don't have one, its flat out lie. The location is great, make sure u have enough coins cuz u end up at the meter to park ur car, not enough parking space, it's loud, do not get at room close to the bar, unless u plan to sleep at 2 am,, come with an open mind and heart or you will have a heart attack. The hotel is a value price for someone who wants to be on beach and not break the bank.My room had new paint and is great for some who is on the go. Only problem pool is not heated.I have stayed there before and will again.
