Nyoppusset hotell som ligger midt i sentrum, rett ved togstasjonen. Hyggelig og hjelpsom personale. De har visstnok ikke egen parkering men de lot oss stå på deres bussplasser. Desverre var det ikke mulig å veksle valuta selv om det står på deres hjemmeside. Tror også vi må ha fått feil rom da vi kun fikk en dyne, en pute og et håndkle, noe vi ikke la merke til før senere :) Flotte rom og svært gunstige priser. Anbefales

"Ok for the price"
We stayed at Hotel Heidelberg for four nights in september. We wanted to stay in the city, but couldn't find avalable rooms there. It takes about 10 min by tram from the hotel to the city, and the walk to the tram-stop is about 2 min. They sell tickets for the tram in the hotel reseption, so that is very convenient. Personally we would like to live […] in the city next time we visit, we found it to be too far from Heidelberg. The standard of the hotel is cottage-like, with a ot of wood. Not a modern style. There are wall-to-wall carpets in the rooms(at least in ours), something we don't really like for hygenic reasons. The room was tidy, but they did not change the sheets, even when they were clearly dirty. Small bathroom with shower. Quite large room. No minibar. Breakfast cost 10 Euro pr person pr day. Good breakfast with nice selection, but some flies around the fresh fruit put us of that. We arrived late, so the reseption was closed when we got there. They left the key for the room for us, but they did not leave the remote for the air-conditioning, which one had to get at the reseptiondesk. This meant a very hot room and little sleep the first night. The beds are quite hard, and the pillow not very comfotable, but I guess that depends on your preferences. The area aroud the hotel is very quiet, so not much noise, which is nice. There is also a Lidl a couple of minutes walk up the street. We ate at the restaurant one night. Very nice food there, so would recomend that. Ok for the price, if you don't mind staying outside of the city. Les mer
"Relaxing hotel, even for Familys with babys/childr"
Polite and 100 % customer sattisfaction. Second time i use this hotel. Free Wif-fi in the entire hotel and free parking outside in the backyard (can pay extra for garage). Breakfast is not included so thats the only minus. We have a 2 year old boy and for us its important to have a close location to a playground. It was under 5 minutes of walk to a […] nice and big park with a big playground for kids in all ages. City train/Tram stops 100 meters from the hotel, cheap and easy to use, about 12 minutes to centrum and all the sites. Les mer
"boutique family owned & well managed"
we had a very good experience staying at Hotel Heidelberg last month. the hotel is well managed. staffs very polite and helpful. and it has a very good restaurant. within walking distance there is a super market. the best part is its breakfast buffet, which at 10 euros is a great value! the only inconvenience is that it is a bit far from the old town […] and university - there is a bus stop and if you drive, it won't be an issue. definitely will stay there again! A very nice hotel! The staff was friendly and very helpful with whatever my fiance and I needed. Our room was comfortable. The food and atmosphere of it's restaurant was excellent, very authentic German. An A+ in my book, considering the rates!
"Poor Choie"
This is an old hotel (designation better than the actual facility). The rooms are dated, small and dark, the staff not very responsive and the stay the worst we have had in the past several years with travel each year of more than 16 weeks. There was an in room safe, but you needed to purchase a coin to use it, breakfast was an additional $10 Euros […] although free coupons were included in the welcome package, they were not valid. Rather than welcome us into the hotel, the first order of business was to sell us on this option. The location is not very convenient. A decent 3*, with a nice buffet breakfast (although the eggs and sausage were not hot), and a good restaurant. Furnishings are looking tired now, and whilst my room was clean, the carpet was marked and the bathroom needed an upgrade.

We stayed at the Hotel Heidelberg three different times during our vacation in Germany. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and the location was perfect for us. We were visiting our son at the US Army Base which is just a few minutes away by car. The main restaurant was closed during our stay, but they offered a delicious breakfast […] buffet each morning and for Christmas Eve and New Years had complimentary wine and cookies for the guests to enjoy. "The Heidelberg Hotel "stinks""
When I arrived the receptionist took some time to make sure I had a Hotels.com reservation which gave me some time to investigate the menus etc which were regular German food. I got my keys to my 1st floor single room and made my way up the stairs and my 1st thought to myself was the hotel was a little tired but homely. Unfortunately when I arrived […] at the room and opened the door there was an awfull "stink". It was now 8.00pm and I had little German so the only thing I could do was open the window and keep the extractor fan on all night. I reported the smell to reception in the morning and they all ready knew about the problem "something to do with the sewage system" Wont be back ! Les mer

used the hotel as overnight stay heading to Stuttgard from Dortmund...nice clean and good service, did not use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast...spend the evening in the city, only drawback was missing internet / wireless in the room, we had to go to the lobby....

This was our first visit to Heidelberg and finding a hotel just before Christmas proved tricky - but I am glad we found the Heidelberg. A small family run hotel in the southern outskirts, it would not suit those looking for a city centre location, but it is only ten minutes drive. The main bonus is a quiet location, very nice accommodation and friendly […] staff. Some of the staff speak very good English so there were no language problems. We didn't have an evening meal in the restaurant, but the breakfast was excellent - an all you can eat buffet style. We will certainly consider staying here again. Les mer
"Hotel Heidelberg, and excellent place to stay."
Our hotel stay was very enjoyable. The staff made certain we were taken care of. Our room was smaller than I had anticipated, but clean, neat. The cleaning staff cleaned every morning. Had a small TV, WiFi was accessable without problems. Plus there were two computers downstairs available to the patroms.. We had supper in the downstairs restaurant, […] and the food was delicious. We felt breakfast could be less expensive for us. so we walked down the street to a local coffe shop.A grocery store is next door for further food purchases if needed. The tram and bus line were right across the street and the ride into downtown Heidelberg was just minutes. It was very nice. There was a smell coming up from the toilet, I reported this and the young man was very prompt in fixing it; I needed some extra pillows and he took care of that for me as well. We would stay there again. Most enjoyable. First time there- would return. I would suggest there be a small refrigerator/coffee maker, in the rooms. "Nice Hotel with Restaurant."
The Hotel was great and met all my expectations. Parking was plentiful at the time I stayed and there is a convenient restaurant as part of the Hotel. There are two computers in the lobby to check the internet. If you have a computer with you, internet is free. I would stay there again and I would recommend it as well.

Although outside downtown Heidelberg, this is a very nice place reasonably priced. Rooms are clean and spacious (for Eurpean hotels), and has free internet access and free parking,which is very helpful if you have a car. The hotel is on the tram (local train) route which takes you right downtown for 2 Euros, so the location really works out well. "Hotel Heidelberg - quaint hotel."
The room was small but expected in Europe. The room was clean and a newly remodeled bathroom with a shower. The breakfast was reasonable and hot. We ate breakfast each morning at the breakfast buffet. We also had one evening meal at the restaurant and it was an excellent typical German meal. The staff was more than helpful and nice. I appreciated the […] fact they had English speaking staff. The hotel is located in the middle of a residential area. Very quiet but not extremely convenient to the sights. Public transportation was fairly close. A grocery store was a block from the hotel. We only saw two families with small children. Most of the clients were older so this is probably not the hotel for someone who wants to party or is loud. Very quiet and everything you would expect in a German hotel. Les mer
"Wonderful hotel in a great town"
We selected the hotel primarily due to the ability to accomodate more than 2 people. We had our daughter with us on this trip, and most hotels did not have this. The check in was fast and friendly. There is also a fantastic restaurant in the hotel itself. (Don't skip the free breakfast buffet!) The room was very clean, and spacious for German lodging […] standards. There is also free outdoor parking for hotel guests. The location itself is about 4 miles from "old" downtown Heidelberg, but there looks to be a bus stop right across the street from the hotel that could probably transport you quickly and conveniently. "Gestank nach Kanal im Hotel"
Das Hotel machte zunächst einen passablen Eindruck. Jedoch musste man sich doch wundern als man im Zimmer (Doppelzimmer zur Einzelbelegung) nur eine Seite des Bettes überzogen vorfand. Ein Laken wäre der nackten Matratzenoptik durchaus vorzuziehen gewesen! Zudem stellte sich ein übler Kanalgestank in der etwas überalterten und an eingen Stellen heruntergekommenen […] Anlage ein - eklig! Das Restaurant war nicht schlecht, jedoch ist hier Sonntag Ruhetag! Und bei leerer Minibar muss man dann los und sich was suchen - nicht das Schlimmste, aber etwas unbequem. Das Personal war freundlich, teils aber unflexibel/überfordert. Offiziell kann man nicht vor 7:00 Uhr auschecken. Wir würden nicht wieder kommen. Les mer

Vergis je niet op de prijs , het ontbijt van € 10,- p.p komt er bij !!!! Wat het adres betreft ??? Tom Tom stuurde ons daar in de buurt naar de middle of now were .

Hotelli on sijainniltaan turhan kaukana keskustasta. Taksilla ja ratikalla tosin pääsee kätevästi liikkumaan. Hotelli näytti kuvissa hienommalta, mitä se oikeastaan oli. Yöpaikkana kuitenkin hyvä ja edullinen vaihtoehto.

We spent one week with a family of 5 , in 2 rooms which were quite good and quiet. Service friendly. Next door to the Kirchheim Friedhof tram terminus, 15 minutes to downtown, extremely practical and cheap. Autobahn one mile away to A5 and A6, no need to spend time entering Heidelberg city by car. Parking no issue for the car at the hotel, safe and […] quiet. However rest of Kircheim is dead city, apart of one pizza and one kebab and a Lidl supermarket, quite practical. 2 improvements to the hotel : Wifi access difficult (only in lobby, while in room switching off every 2 minutes) Restaurant good food but not very cheap. We would certainly recommend to enjoy Heidelberg nice city (where you have to go everywhere by tram) Les mer

Alt er som forventet eller bedre på dette hotel. Mad, internat, personale, rengøring, morgenmad... Eneste man lige skal være opmærksom på er de meget korte dyner - jeg er 198 cm, og kunne vælge om føder eller skuldre skulle under dynen. Dagen efter fik jeg 2 dyner og sov herligt. Etwas außerhalb in Kirchheim - aber über die Straßenbahn direkt mit dem Zentrum verbunden - ist das Hotel Heidelberg eine familiär geführte Unterkunft, die sehr zu empfehlen ist. Liebenswürdiger, freundlicher,hilfreicher Service. Internet/WLAN frei. Die Zimmer sind relativ einfach gehalten, aber zweckmäßig und sauber. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig.

"Et nydeligt hotel i udkanten af Heidelberg."
Hotellet var meget nydeligt og vi fik en megen beleven velkomst af receptionisten, som var særdeles hjælpsom. Så som, at det ikke var nødvendigt at tage bilen ind til Heidelberg, da der gik en Sporvogn lige uden for døren og at det kun tog et kvarter at køre derind. Hotelværelset og badeværelset var meget fint og rent, lige som resten af hotellet. Det […] eneste man måske kunne ønske var et lidt mere moderne TV. Det var meget lille og gammelt. Morgenmaden var også rigtig god. Alt i alt et meget godt ophold Les mer

Das Hotel liegt leider recht weit außerhalb. allerdings ist die Strassenbahn nur wenige Meter entfernt, so dass man schnell in der Innenstadt ist (ca. 20 min)

Hotellet ligger utanför centrum¨(enkelt att hitta från autobahn) men nås lätt med närliggande S-bahn, ca 14 minuter i till centrum. Faktiskt avkopplande färd, parkeringssituationen inne i centrum stökig. Servicevänlig reception, vi blev väl informerade om olika möjöigheter med kommunikationer och sevärdheter, man kan köpa för 1 € informativ guideleflet, […] rummet rent och med gedigna möbler, utsökt men ngt dyr restaurang, välsmakande frukost, bra parkeringsmöjligheter i lungt område. Hotelli oli enemmänkin majatalotyyppinen ja hyvin "kodinomainen". Erittäis siistiä yleiset tilat ja huone. Sängyt olivat liian pehmeät, perrheen isän selkä kipeytyi (noidannuoli). Sijainti hiemn kauempana keskustasta, tosin raitiovaunu kulki aivain hotellin edestä ja autoll apääsimme hyvin keskustaan.
