Ligger rett på stranden og består av mange 2 etg. bygninger. Vi hadde rom rett ut mot stranden og kunne sitte på terrassen og nyte utsikten over mot st.George. Hotellet bærer preg av begynnende forfall men enda var det ikke påfallende, Rommet var helt fint. Det er to svømmebasseng hvorav det en er ganske stort med tilhørende barer. Det vi opplevde som […] negativt var maten. Det var håpløst dårlig! Vi gav opp dette og spiste utenfor hotellet. Prismessig var hotellet som alt annet her ned ganske dyrt. Les mer

Room ac unit was very noisy could not sleep. Hotel was clean beach excellent. Service poor seemed under staff.

Overall was extremely disappointed with this hotel. The executive beachfront was no more than a simple hotel room. Requested a refrigerator but was told the room didn't have one so we requested a room with one in it but we were told there were none available and we would be put on a waiting list...never did receive one. Had a coffee maker but was given […] instant coffee for the first night. Drink prices were very expensive in the resort but if you walked directly out onto the beach there was a beach bar where you could get the same for a quarter of the price. The beach was great but then there a other places to stay that are also directly on the same beach. The grounds were beautiful but needed alitlle extra cleaning, the pools were great and were only used by afew of the guests. Restaurant tables were left with dirty dishes still on them so if you dined later on it made the dining experience something to be desired. We requested an early check in but had to wait for one and a half hours after arriving. Would not stay there again. Les mer

The hotel is located in front of a magnificent Caribbean beach. The facilities are good and the price is fair. Staff is very friendly, however, the service is extremely slow! Once I sat with my family to eat sandwiches at the pool bar and it took more than one hour (!!!!) to get something to eat. My younger son (7) even slept while waiting for the food. […] On another occasion, I ordered a bottle of water from room service. After an hour I decided to call back and the lady there told me that she would try to find somebody to deliver my order. My husband and I stayed at the GGBR for one night recently. The grounds themselves, are beautiful and well kept. The pools, and the hotel itself, was very clean. The few issues we had may not be important so some, but to us, they were very important. There are no refrigerators in the rooms. When we went to get the ice in the marked areas for the ice […] machines, there were no machines. The front desk told us they would call us back to tell us where we could get ice. They never called. We were trying to have a cocktail at sunset. There are coffee/tea making services in the rooms, however there are no coffee filters. The Coffeemate supplied was so old, it looked like a stick of gum. There were no robes supplied, like stated. The views from our room were beautiful and the beach is very clean. Overall, depending on what type of services you are looking for, this is a nice hotel. Just beware, the rooms are very basic. I would not stay there for a long term visit, but a short term visit would be fine. Les mer

The hotel was recently upgraded, it looks very nice, pools are amazing, rooms are big and nice, with all the equipment you may need, but, everything is go bad when you need to eat. Menu: very limited, and expensive Service: Main restaurant, very nice people Service: Pool bars and stations, personnel dont care at all about you, they just ignore you, […] keep talking with their colleagues like if they were on a school break and it takes a lot of time to get your food order. Service: the staff is not well trained, and they can not assist you with any guidance on what to do, how to do things or where to go, it is just useless to try get useful information. I ll go back because of the beach and pools, but, all the beaches in Grenada are like theirs, so if you dont mind moving to other area, you wont miss much. Les mer

Rooms on the beach, good food, close to the airport, several other plusses.

Had a second story room on the beach with an ocean view - great. Visit to town requires a taxi or a car that must be driven on the left hand side of the road.

A very pleasant not fancy 5 star resort but nice! The ocean view rooms are upgraded. Staff was very friendly and helpful! I enjoyed my few days there !

The hotel grounds are lovely. The staff extremely attentive and helpful. The hotel rooms could be upgraded a bit and the plugs should be more accessible for use. The food was excellent especially at the Bar... i had the best seafood cobb salad ever!

The grounds and pools are beautiful. Rooms a bit more dated, but we weren't in them except to sleep!! Very nice for the price!

We booked this hotel for New year's Eve on Dec-2011. Access to the beach and the view are great, our kids enjoyed the easy access to the beautiful Grand Anse Beach. Also, we were really impressed with the neatness of the facilities, everything looks new, the rooms have been renovated, all the ambience has a touch of modernity, We also walked around […] pool facilities and were impressed to see how all umbrellas, and pool chairs were brand new, or very well kept. Staff is continually cleaning or drying the floor, so you feel safe of kids running around. Staff is friendly and helpful too The only downside I observed was New years' Eve, food was not great, found it expensive and not of high quality. Besides, not too much effort was put on the decoration, so an ambience of a great party was not achieved that night. Les mer

The pictures of the hotel do not do it justice . I was very impressed by the decor and the general ambience of the hotel . Its grounds especially the fantasy pools and the surrounding beaches are fantastic !!! The hotel is perfectly situated very near to shopping malls and craft markets . Excelant rates, beautiful pools. only had one issue and that was the service and length of time we waited for dinner. Hour and half to get our food, and had to call the waitress if we needed somethihng. There was only about 8 other people there. I plan on returning next yr

I always look forward to staying at this resort be it business or pleasure this hotel is one of my best experiences in the Caribbean and I travel a lot. The owners have to be commended for having an excellent establishment and I know they pay attention to staff training all staff I mean all are well trained

When I arrived they put me in the old section of the resort where it had not yet been renovated. The coffee maker in the room had a US plug but the outlets were British. I ended up burning out the coffee pot because I ignorantly thought I could use an adapter to plug in the pot where I actually needed a transformer. The manager was very kind and decided […] I should not be charged for this as they should have put one in the room that had a British plug. The second night I was there the air conditioner blew up in the middle of the night with a huge bang and flash, then smoke in the room. When I told the manager what had happened, he had me moved to the newly renovated section of the resort and then I had no further problems. The beach is beautiful and it's lovely sitting at the outside bar in the evening, but make sure you bring along insect repellent as there are sand flies that bite; you don't see them and all of a sudden realize you are covered in bites! With insect repellent on the evenings spent outside will be much more pleasant. One thing I noticed is the maids don't automatically stock up your room every day with essentials like coffee or coffee creamer, or sometimes even with all the towels you need. When I started leaving a tip for the maid, she was more careful in leaving those things I needed. All in all the staff is friendly and helpful. This was a good place to stay as it's reasonably close to St. George's city, and also to St. George University. I will be staying there again. Les mer

I had a great time at Grand breach, the employees are very friendly and is always saying hi. my family and i will be going back there very soon and already told other people about this lovely hotel.

The staff is very professional, coridial and efficient. Ditto for the food servers. Great location and a great beach. Great security.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort. Special commendation must be extended to front office team Dwayne, Kareena and Jovari. They constantly delivered service with a smile and never hesitated to go the extra mile to render assistance, take a bow guys. The security hut at the gate is a disgrace, being that it's a part of the first thing you see upon […] entering the hotel I personally think it can be repaired. It is infested by termites and we need to be reminded that it accommodates a human being. It has a beach to die for and a fantasy pool with a waterfall that just relaxes you. Les mer

THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE BUT IT WAS ALMOST EMPTY, SO VERY QUEIT AND IN THE EVENINGS THERE WAS NOTHING TO DO, AS THERE WERE ONLY 1-2 PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT AND NOONE AT THE BAR, EVERY PLACE WAS EMPTY, SO YOU HAD TO BE ALONE THERE. THE BEACH WAS NICE, BUT NO BEACH BAR SERVICE, THE POOL WAS FABULOUS AND SILENT AS NOONE WAS SWIMMING THERE. THE FOOD WAS […] OKAY BUT QUITE EXPENSIVE. NOT VERY MUCH CHOICE WITH DRINKS. Really enjoyed the whole resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pools, bars, dining were great. Beach was clean and quickly accessible. Quick walk to stores in Grand Anse or bus to St. George.

The Grenada Grand has the prime location on the beautiful beach of Grand Anse. There are more expensive hotels on this stretch of beach but none of them have the amount of space or view of the Grenada Grand. The hotel is working on updating their look. Parts of the hotel are "tired" but absolutely spotless.The staff is friendly and helpful. Comfortable […] rooms. Only complaint is you have to request a refrigerator at an extra cost. Some of the staff were very nice and helpful. Internet was not available at the hotel the day we arrived or the next day. Beach was very nice. Scuba shop is available at the hotel.

This hotel when checking in ask for security deposit and I present my chase debit card they don't accept debit card and i Paid approx US$851.00 cash as a security and one day before i was checking out inform them so they can have my deposit ready to return to me. To my surprise when checking out they don't have that cash on hand and they promise to […] give it to the person i authorised and over a weak they still refusing to give back deposit as they have to accumulate that cash. I fax a letter of authorisation again for them to give the money and after 13 days finally they return the deposit. Les mer

We used this place as a pitstop before heading to Carriacou. We usually are not into resort type places or touristy beaches where the foreigners sport fanny packs..we are more of a cabin or B&B type traveler. PROS: Putting that preference aside we found this place a good value being on the beach. Secure with beach chairs available for use on the beach […] and a lovely swimming pool with pool bar. The grounds are well kept and housekeeping seemed efficient and honest as they never touched our money on the table. Hot water is great. Rooms included a 220-110 converter although we brought our own dual voltage adapters and converters. Free wifi so we were able to skype our baby daughter back home. Dive shop on site will take you on a funsnorkelling or dive expedition. CONS: Our first room at the beginning of our vacation had no air circulation. We asked the front desk for a room with a ceiling fan and no rooms were available. We then asked for a table fan and none were available. We had to resort to the loud and annoying Air Con. The doors have no screens. There is a TV in every room. What can I say...it is a distraction. The restaurant food was awefull but we only ate there our first night in a pinch. We highly recomend South Side or other eateries by the roundabout up the street for eating. Also some of the lamps use the annoying daylight cfl's instead of a warm colored cfl. (very common in carribean) but still for a resort this is a detail that deserves attention. last give yourself an hour to check out if you have somewhere to be. they have new computers they cannot figure out and if they have a group like a plane or cruise ship crowd in you can get screwed. I would suggest you do not leave your credit card on file with them for incidental charges so you do not have to worry about this should you have to run to catch a plane. Les mer

Emplacement top sur la plus grande plage de l'ile service efficace ; trés belle piscine ; jardin tropical soigné. Chambres sur mer calmes mais déco un peu défraichie. Nourriture internationale classique et sans surprise.

Hotel plaisant, bien situé sur la plage principale de l'ile - propre. Un petit hic, une partie du personnel pas spécialement très acceuillant.

Отличный пляж,прекрасный сад.....но нет холодильника в номере. Когда бронировали этот отель,специально отметили....нужен холодильник. За 6 дней пребывания в отеле получали только обещания,но холодильника так не дождались.

The aircon in the room was extremely noisy - even with tailormade earplugs there was no chance to sleep properly. Mgmt. promised to replace this old stuff within the next months....let's see...
