Ok, hotell i gangavstand fra 700-800m fra hovedjernbanestasjonen i München. Innestengt luft på det rommet vi hadde -umulig å ha vindu åpent om natta pga. trafikkstøy. Meget god frokost - som måtte bestilles som tillegg. Status = OK hotell

Bestilte røykfritt rom men fikk et røykerom som luktet helt jævlig. Fikk byttet til slutt etter noe mas. Trange ganger og mye trapper opp og ned til rommet vi fikk. Trang garasje. Fin beliggenhet men neste gang velger jeg et annet hotell.

"Veldig trang hotell-garasje"
Hotellet var nytt og fint, med en bra frokostbuffe, og en 6-euro taxireise til sentrum. Det eneste minuset var garasjen til hotellet. Et mer trangt og håpløst sted å parkere bil skal du lete lenge etter. Må samtidig si at vi hadde leid en BMW 520 stasjonsvogn, som er en relativt stor bil. Likevel - håpløst.

"Perfekt plassering i forhold til Oktoberfesten"
Nydelig frokost og kort vei opp til Oktoberfesten. Kunne ikke ha ønsket oss bedre plassering. Kort vei til sentrum også. Koselig atrium hvor det var bord og stoler for utendørs frokost eller en ettermiddagskaffe eller øl når været tillater det. Bruker gjerne dette hotellet igjen ved neste besøk. Hjelpsomt personell i resepsjonen.

"Skuffet"
Hyegglig betjening i resepsjonen, hotel standarder tilsvarer ikke 4 stjerner, hodeputtene var helt forferdelige, hard seng og Ikke behaglige pledd. Mannen som skulle sjekke minibaren kom in uten å banke og gikk rett in for å se... Når jeg sa at dette ikke var akseptablet gikk han og kom tilbake med te poser og brukt evigheter for å ordne opp i. Klokken […] var 10 på morgen og vi var fortsatt i seng. Vi er skuffet og siden det fins mange andre koselige hoteler hvorfor skal man ødelegge? Skal aldri tilbake! Les mer
"Billig og sentralt hotell i München"
For prisen du betaler er dette hotellet ikke så værst... det ligger i gå-avstand til Hauptbahnhof og de fleste severdighetene. Det er noe lytt, så man kan høre godt hva som skjer på gangen / naborommet. Noe treg service i baren.

Good value hotel for the price we paid; hotel meals, i.e. lunches and dinner, are surprisingly reasonable. Only drawback is the hotel does not have any air conditioning

"Decent hotel"
Good hotel if you are looking for something that offers the usual facilities at a decent price - shame that the Internet access is a bit pricey. Would most likely stay here again.
"You get what you pay for"
Our room didn't have air conditioning. The tub was completly plugged and we contacted the lobby and they never fixed it. Location is good, train station is really close.

Very well sutuated hotel - if you do your homework! It's 15 minutes walk from Central Station, located in a pleasant area near to St Paul's church. However, buy a "Partner Ticket" which covers you and up to 4 more adults for the full day & buy a Tram / Tube map, and you'll find it's literally only 90 second walk from the "Theresienweiss" underground […] station on the U4/U5 line, well reachable in a few minutes from the City Centre or Central Station. Hotel is clean, tidy & very welcoming with polite multilingual staff. All in all, great value for money! Les mer

We've stayed just for one night in Munich. The hotel was well located near the train station. Its looked like the room was dirty (due to the carpet and the oldish furniture) but it was just the look. The hotel is in a great location; 15 minute walk into town and close to my favourite beer hall - The Augustiner. 5 minutes from the Hoptbanhauf. Clean room, good amenities, friendly staff and well maintained.

"Clean and polite"
Extremely comfortable, well appointed room. Polite and helpful staff. Location close to train station and U station right around the corner is good. Not the greatest neigborhood, however, in terms of restaurants and convenience stores. A little seedy, but that's typical so close to train stations, I guess. Fitness, bar, room service: more amenities […] than usual. An added improvement would be if they didn't charge for wifi or even the computers in the lobby. I like the multiple doors in the hallways. Great Service - staff were overly friendly and helpful on recommending great German Resturants Location 4 blocks away from the main train station and the local attractions. Very Clean and great price
Clean and tidy modern furnishings - our room was a tad small but we had asked for a room with a proper double bed instead of those silly 2 singles pushed together so these might be bigger. Friendly staff and good services. Shame that wifi is €9 a day though!

My girldfriend and I stayed here from the 1st to 4th of January. For the small price we paid, it was a very pleasant hotel. Decent sized room, great location in the city centre, mannerly staff - ticks all boxes. I would have no problem recommending this hotel. I did not see the gym or the sauna so I cannot comment on them.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our recent Christmas vacation to Munich, we were also there with friends. We had a Premium room, which was clean, the beds were very comfortable and it was in an area where there lots to eat. It was within walking distance to the main train station - Munchen Hauptbahnhof. There is a laundromat across the […] street, which we found very handy. We were able to drop off and pick up clean laundry at a very reasonable cost. The staff were very helpful, provided lots of advice to which we appreciated. I will indeed stay at this hotel. Les mer

"TRYP Munich - Ok, but not great."
Hotel was ok, but not 4* as other reviews have suggested. Hotel appears to have no non smoking rooms, so dispute requesting via here and at the hotel we had a stinking room in a stinking corridor. This alone would stop me rebooking. That said the hotel was cheap for its class in Munich, had an amazing shower and free gym room. Breakfast buffet is […] definitely one to miss at the price as the selection, quality and service was poor. Hotels location initially made my wife a little uncomfortable, but we had no issues, and there are plenty of other hotels in the area, so its actually pretty safe. Station is a few mins walk, so very handy Beds are German style, so a double is actually two singles, with separate single duvets which have been pushed together. Finally the is no air con, which isn't an issue in Dec, but will be in summer. All in all a reasonable hotel, similar to travel lodges in the UK. expensive, but that's Munich, poor breakfast, and massively let down by no non smoking rooms - I hate the smell, so for that reason alone I won't recommend to non smokers. "Great service and comfortable room"
We arrived at 8AM after an overnight train and our room was ready! The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and quite nice. We had trouble with the TV and told the front desk; the next day it was fixed. The neighborhood isn't exciting but it is quiet and just a 10 minute walk from the historic town center. Plus it is just a few blocks […] from the train station, so super convenient if you want to take day trips. The food at the restaurant in the hotel is pretty good, and the room service, while not gourmet, is affordable and tasty. I would definitely stay there again next time I'm in Munich. Les mer

The Tryp is a short walk from the train station. The staff was wonderful, they let us change the room from one double bed to a room with 2 twin beds I'm not sure what room we booked. The small room was clean with two twin size beds jammed together, not the most comfortable when traveling with your daughter. The room has a water boiler and 2 instant […] coffee packs and a 5 euro bottle of water on the desk. Room size and layout is very similar to the Ibis chain in Paris but the beds are not as nice. Overall a great hotel; it's clean and pleasant, has a sauna and fitness centre and the staff are very accommodating. Location is good too; only a few blocks down from the Hauptbahnhof and nearest U-Bahn is just around the corner. In other words, you can hardly ask for more. Will stay there again.

Breakfast rather expensive, Staff not very smiley or welcoming..unapproachable. Room itself nice but smelt a bit as obviously a smoking room which made all clothing have a smokey odour! Surrounding neighbourhood slightly seedy, bit uncomfotable to walk through passing locals.

Due to a change of plans, I departed a day earlier than what I reserved and paid for. The front desk had no interest in helping me in this, and I am sure my room was rented out at once the day I departed.

This hotel met all of our needs. After a LONG day of traveling we arrived at around 22:00. The gentleman on duty was polite, but not overly friendly (it is Germany I suppose). He suggested a place close by for us to eat and it met our expectations! Overall this is a great hotel. Great price and very clean/nice rooms. The neighborhood is a bit so/so […] but it is very close to train station. Just be prepared to pay for wifi and breakfast. They were not included in our room price. Les mer

"Handy location, Good price"
Short walk to central station so very handy for getting about. If you don't get breakfast included it's 15 Euro's for a continental breakfast! much better to go to the little Cafe left out of the hotel! Not much in terms immediate surroundings but as mentioned very good for central station so easy to get about. Only thing no tea or coffee in the room […] which was disapointing you had topay extra. But would definetly recommend and stay again - will just bring my own travel kettle! Les mer
