I think the stay was just ok. Hotel needs updates and is noisy. Shower pressure in our room was very light which was a bummer. As well as we were above some sort of loading dock and was woken by loud dumpster sounds at 6am which is always awesome on vacation. Also - while beach chairs come with your room, umbrellas do not which we were not told until […] we arrived on the beach that this would be an extra $15. Staff was friendly, pool nice and good service but food takes forever also. (over 2 hrs one day for our lunch) I would not likely return to this hotel. I would stay somewhere directly on the beach. All of the older hotels in this area are similar: smallish room, deco styling (due to age), nice proximity to restaurants, beach, shopping. The Hotel of South Beach has a very nice and helpful staff, funky touches to the rooms (all-tile bath with stainless steel sink in our room), a terrific roof-top pool. I loved this hotel. The location was perfect, the roof top pool was awesome, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The maids even checked at night to see if you needed towels or your bar replenished. The Hotel has not been properly maintained to 5 star standards. However, the staff is extremely nice, the roof pool is great, and the location is unbeatable.

This hotel is in a great location. It was really easy to get to the beach and all there is to see in Miami Beach! The staff were very friendly and helpful all the time as well.

Great quiet spot on South Beach. Very friendly hotel, recommended excellent Cuban restaurant on first night. Nice rooms, funky bathrooms, excellent free wifi. If you want to stay away from the mayhem of the main strip this is a brilliant choice.

Overall we had a great time at this hotel. It's very close of all the usual attractions in South Beach; in particular it's ~1 block from the beach. The staff were very nice and in particular, Estaban was very helpful with some great suggestions/help. The rooms are a tad on the small side (probably true of most rooms in the area). You should be sure that you'll get a nice room. The points that are mentioned on Expedia like "extra wide bedding" - do not work - the hotel gave me a regular Quine bad and I had to ask to change that! Be sure that a big area of the hotel is located where you can hear loud music - it can disturb. The mattresses and soft, very soft - your spine will […] be twisted.. No bath - just the shower, fortunately in some rooms there is a separated movable shower. Rooms are purely noise isolated. Gym is poor - orbitrek there is almost dead! The pool on the roof is the best place in the hotel - it's heated nicely and from there it's a perfect view. Also you'll like the reserved and free towels and beds at the beach. Okay so I love in depth reviews so here is mine Location: Perfect. Literally in the middle of everything and the beach is literally a 4 minute walk. Nothing is more than a $5-$10 cab ride from the hotel to anywhere in SoBe. Staff: All of the staff were very friendly especially Ernesto and Esteban. Those two gentlemen were very friendly and helpful. […] Anything and everything you need to know they will take care of you no questions asked. The room service was prompt. The housekeeping ladies passed by twice a day and if you were still in your room they would come by when you left. I never came back to my room even after only being out for an hour the room wasn't clean. Very impressive. Cleanliness: The hotel, the rooms the bathrooms everything was in tip top shape. Bottom line: The staff, facilities, rooms, location and everything is great i would definatley recommend this place for anyone. The Bellman and Concierge are great but that's about it. No place to unload your bags. The rooms are so small it's mind boggling. Noise from other rooms is a problem. Carpets stained. etc etc. Location is good but there are literally 100's of hotels in the area. They might be better but I'd doubt they could be worse.

Great South Beach Experience. The most professional, helpful and cheerful staff. They really made the stay that much more fun. You are steps from the ocean and this boutique style hotel couldn't be more inviting. Breakfast on the roof by the pool and the Cirulean blue sky is Authentic Art Deco ! Very comfortable South Beach Art Deco hotel with fine restaurant and great rooftop bar and pool area. Very attentive and expert staff, quickly responded to every need or question. Have stayed at 5-6 Art Decos over the past decade and The Hotel is the tops for quality, service and value.

We had a room on the first floor that was directly located by the trash dumpsters. The windows were all frosted over and we were unable to look out the windows. We could hear the other guests and staff walking around the hallway and the room above us.

Pro's - Location is great - you'll be central to everything in SoBe. You can eat cheap food at Puerto Sagua and at the pizza places on 9th and Collins for late night food. Staff is super friendly, concierge is v good. Relative to other S Beach hotels, this one has nicer and newer rooms. Hot water pressure in showers is good and AC is quiet. The pool […] is pretty nice. The hotel has their own little area on the beach which is great. Cons - rooms are tiny and walls are paper thin. So you can hear loud conversations from neighbors. The gym is decent, but tiny. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. It is in the heart of South Beach and beautifully maintained. The pool deck is the best feature with views of the ocean and full time staff who are there to meet your every need but who also respect your privacy. The Hotel (formerly Tiffany) has very clean rooms, excellent staff and service and a beautiful rooftop pool and (topless) tanning deck with bar service. The rooms are a little small but well laid out and neatly furnished. Nice location one block away from the noise on Ocean Drive, but only just around the corner from the well-known News Cafe.

We were first given a room that the windows were frosted so you could not see outside and could only be opened 4 inches for security and I assume the air-conditioning unit outside which was a constant noise.The reason for this was because the rooms on that side face an alley. The hotel is one street back from the main drag so you don't suffer from the constant noise and music. The hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. We arrived early in the morning after disembarking from a cruise and they allowed us to use all the facilities whilst waiting for our room including holding out luggage. Staff was extremely friendly from the moment we pulled up. The self-park parking garage was only 1 short block away. The room and bathroom was nice, especially for the SouthBeach area. The bar area adjacent to the lobby was nice and had a happy hour everyday with discounted prices on drinks. Ok, number one the hotel is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the location is ideal, you are right in the middle of everything you need/should do in South Beach. Our room was small but compact and very comfortable, surprisingly quiet from any street noise but and it was quite a big but either the people in the next door room were very […] noisy or the wall are very thin, so much so that we had to ask the front desk to have a word at 3am, also the floorboards in the room above creaked loudly when the guests there were moving around, not a problem apart from when they get up at 6am. But having said all this I would certainly stay there again as I think we were just unlucky with the neighbours. Les mer

the hotel is a block from the beach, which was very nice. There were good restaurants near by, plenty of things to see. The buildings 1920s style was very cool. Had a nice stay, wouldn't hesitate to go back.

My husband and mine's hotel stay was the best! The hotel staff were very attentive and pleasant. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all of family/friends. I will definitely stay at this again and probably anytime I visit Miami. Thanks for everything!!!

A nice pool on the rooftop provided nice view, could see the ocean thru the palm trees. The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance to all bars, clubs, restaurants.
