"Good People, Good Location"
The hotel was great. it was affordable and right on the beach. Its proximity to main amenities was a very big plus. The ladies at the front desk were really wonderful and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay there.

"Beautiful views, beautiful beach"
Most rooms offer a fabulous view of St. George, the Caribbean Sea, and Grand Anse Beach. The staff was very helpful and the food was good.

"Beware the steps to reach hotel facilities!"
The rooms are up on a hill, and the restaurant, bar, pool and beach are many, many steps down on the opposite side of the road. Your cardiovascular system will get a workout with this hotel. It is not at all appropriate for anyone with difficulty in climbing steps. Aside from that, it is a great place.
Food is very expensive and not of great quality. It is very hilly and you have to climb a lot. Need a taxi or a hire car.

We really enjoyed our stay and we had a great time.Kudos to the staff who went the extra mile . They were very hospitable, helpful and friendly and we felt almost like we were in a 5 star hotel. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
"Excellent location, Questionable service."
Nice hotel. Nice location. This hotel is high quality, and I would easily recommend it for anyone going to Grenada. It overlooks the beach, and every room have spectacular views. The facilities are also very high quality, with a good resturant and bar. The beach (which is one of the best beaches I have ever been to) is also just a few minutes walk. […] They also got a nice pool, though it was poorly maintained when I was visiting (off season). The only problem was the way they treated me when I asked for an extension of my stay. I was delayed by two days, and tried to reschedule my booking, but it was too late based on their cancellation policy and was charged for one night. I asked them when I arrived if I could get one extra day. After all, I had paid for three days, and would only stay for two. Strangly enough, the manager refused this request and gave me the explanation that "they had held the room just for me so they could not rent it to anyone else". This was during the off season, and there were not many guests at the hotel at the time I was staying there, so I have my doubts about the truth in that explanation. I would probably stayed a few more nights if they had been a bit flexible, but chose to take my business elsewhere after my two days at the Flamboyant. Les mer

"A nice hotel on a beautiful island"
We enjoyed our stay very much. The Flamboyant provides a beautiful view of Grand Anse beach, good service, a restaurant and bar that stays open late, in a nice location that's about a 10-minute walk to a grocery store.
"Flamboyant Hotel- Grenada"
This hotel was good for a few nights while traveling on business. If I were going on vacation, this would not be my first choice. It is very close to Grand Anse beach, and the views are spectacular. Make sure you bring a good pair of shoes, since you will be doing a lot of stair and hill climbing. The restaurant and beach bar both seem overpriced […] for the service and food quality. But my flight arrived late in the evening, so it was nice to be able to get something quickly at the beach bar. Rooms are acceptable, and the AC is cold. I was in a basic room, so it was to be expected. Good for a few nights, find a nicer place for a vacation stay. Les mer
"Excellent stay at the Flamboyant"
We arrived at around 7am and had called previously that week to ask about early check-in and they said they would see what they could do. Upon arrival, we checked in and they gave us our room key with no questions asked which was great. We went up one flight of stairs to our room, which was the superior room. There was a small kitchen with cooking utensils, […] one couch and a table with 2 chairs. The room however had 2 full size beds together to make a king size.. we called the front desk about this and they said they would change the mattress. We left the hotel and when we came back, thankfully they had changed the mattress to one king size. The maid service was excellent. Fresh towels everyday. We had to complain about a noise upstairs two times on separate occassions and that was resolved immediately. Only problem is the location of the hotel. It's quite a far walk to get anywhere besides the hotel dining. Tip: Walk along the beach. NY Bagels is great (closed on saturdays) and so is la boulangerie which are both about a 10 min walk along the beach. Les mer

The hotel i stayed at was very nice and peaceful it was a fun place to stay at since the beach was very close, the people were very friendly, and the management was excellent. "Best View On The Island!"
We recently returned from the Flamboyant hotel. The staff was very friendly and the food was also good. Compared to the more expensive hotels, this was the best view of the beach and city. But be ready to do some walking, the hotel is situated on the hill, you have to walk down to the restaurant and beach. Not far about a 5min walk but hilly.

The hotel is located on the side of a hill overlooking Grand Anse Beach. The hotel's restaurants are on the beach. This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are clustered into villas, each room with a balcony overlooking the beach, and with a beautiful view of St.George's in the distance. Wireless internet service (that works well). Both 120V and 220V power […] in the room. You can stay at this hotel and walk to everything you need: beach, mall, supermarket, restaurant. Downtown St. George's is a 10 minute drive away. "Nice hotel"
We visited Grenada for the first time to visit our son, who started his studies at St. George's University. Our one week stay at Flamboyant was comfortable and relaxing. The hotel and its staff met our expectations. As has been mentioned in other reviews, it involves some walking and using steps to go the beach, this was no problem for us however. Also […] the hotel does offer transportation to the beach to people with disability. We plan to stay here next year when we visit our son again. Les mer

"Flamboyant - Bello ma un po' scomodo"
La struttura è decisamente buona, tuttavia un mezzo di trasporto è altamente consigliato se non si è orientati alla "vita da resort".

In Anbetracht der allgemein sehr hohen Preisstruktur der Insel hat das Hotel ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Küchenzeile mit Kaffeemaschine und Kühlschrank sind sehr viel wert wenn man nicht täglich das Frühstück im Hotel zu sich nehmen möchte oder im Restaurant essen will. Leider wecken alleinreisende hellhäutige blonde Frauen automatisch […] den Verdacht "Mann gesucht". Man kann es den "Locals" nicht verdenken, da viele amerikanische resp. britische Frauen mit gutaussehenden Insulanern das allgemeine Straßenbild beherrschen. Erst mehrtägiges konsequentes Ablehnen der Annäherungsversuche führt dazu dass man seinen Urlaub in Ruhe geniessen kann. Unangenehmerweise wird man auch von einigen männlichen Hotelangestellten belagert, auch vom Securitypersonal, welches dann doch ein etwas mulmiges Gefühl erzeugt. Nach einigen Tagen und mit zunehmendem Bräunungsgrad der Haut scheint es sich jedoch rumzusprechen dass man einfach nur einen sportlichen, gemütlichen Urlaub verbringen möchte und auf männliche Begleitung keinen Wert legt. Die Lage des Hotels ist leider etwas abseits - der lokale Bus ist nur mit ca. 10 - 15 Minuten Fussmarsch (schlecht beleuchtet) zu erreichen (Bus EC Dollar 2,50 zur Innenstadt, Taxi EC Dollar 40), das gleiche gilt für Restaurants oder Supermarkt. Somit ist abends nur Hotel angesagt oder das teure Taxi. Les mer

Todo nos encantó, la única incomodida que se presento es que utilizan corriente de placas solares y esta luz es deficiente el congelador tardo bastante en comenzar a enfriar y los aires igualmente.
