Grand Hotel Parkers - Napoli

I stayed two nights in late December 2011, and had a room with sea view. The views from my small balcony were indeed very nice. Vesuvius to the left, the ocean in the distance. The 'deluxe' room was large and comfortable. Everyone was very nice, the staff helpful and multilingual. Do not miss the breakfast!! The sunrise views from the top floor are […] truly incredible. At night the restaurant, 'George', which is supposedly excellent, is not very cosy, you don't have much of a view, as there aren't any illuminated structures out in the distance, and the lighting in the main room is too bright. I should also mention that the rooms with the sea view are also facing the street, which is very busy. I felt it was worth it, especially since I made use of the earplugs I had saved from my flight. As the hotel sits on the busy Corso Vittorio Emmanuele that is halfway up the hillside, there isn't a surrounding neighborhood one could stroll around in at night, or where one would immediately find cosy restaurants. Once one descends the big stairs nearby, though, small places can be found in the narrow streets underneath. I would particularly recommend "Dora" a seafood restaurant at 28 Via Ferdinando Palasciano, Public transport: there are a number of buslines nearby, and, about 5 minutes up the street a stop of one of the funiculars, which could bring you down to Pza Amadeo, or up to the Vomero. From Piazza Amadeo, you can take a direct train to the RR Station, or one stop to Montesanto, close to the beginning of Spaccanapoli, the long street that is close to most tourist destinations, such as Santa Chiara and the Cathedral. It is important to note, that in google maps the subway station of Piazza Amadeo is shown as if it were on Corso Vittorio Emanuele (where the hotel is located), but instead, it is quite far underneath it, and about a 10-15 min walk, unless you take the funicular. For the funicular you need change, as the ticket machine is often out of order. Les mer

An old hotel with a poor location. No restaurants nearby. Neighbourhood felt unsafe. Room was noisy when windows were opened. Breakfast was ok.

Grand Hotel Parker's was a typical urban European hotel - small. That's exactly what I was expecting. It was quiet and clean, but the location is just off the beaten path. Not enough to keep me from staying there again, but just know the metro isn't that close, but the funicular is. If you're looking for something more in the middle of things, I'd suggest […] something on or near Via Toledo. My stay at GHP was fine, but if I had it to do over again, I would've stayed in Sorrento all week, which is where I was the first half of my visit. It is MUCH cleaner than Naples and provides easy access to everything in the area - Pompeii, Amalfi, Capri, etc. Good luck. Its a great area. Les mer

This is a beautiful hotel with an amazing view over the Bay of Naples. Be prepared though for rather rude service unless you are happy to tip extravagantly. The staff have the ability to look down on you if they think you are not the type of person who should be staying at the hotel. Even the owner was hear to utter 'American' when my wife's case spilled […] in reception. Curiously enough she is descended from French aristocracy! Les mer

We had two rooms at the Hotel Parkers and were very happy with our stay. The rooms were of decent size, especially compared to other rooms we had stayed in throughout Italy, and were nicely decorated. The best part of the rooms, however, was the amazing view overlooking the Bay of Naples and the city below. The hotel staff spoke passable English and […] were friendly and helpful with our requests. The breakfast included with the room offered a reasonable selection of food, and was served on the top floor of the building, again offering spectacular views of the city. My husband and I were not too thrilled with this hotel. It is very run down and old... not 5 star quality. It isnt in a great location either, except for the view from the outdated bar/restuarant on the top, we had to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to eat.. which was a choice of 2 run down restuarants. We only stayed here before and after Naples […] airport at the begining and end of our trip so it was OK for just that. Still I wouldve paid more for a nicer and more updated place to stay. Les mer

We spent 2 nights here and absolutely loved the hotel. The breakfast room view was incredible and the food was very good. Our room was wonderful! We had a sea view which was definetly worth the upgrade. The staff were incredible and very helpful in assisting us with setting up plans for our day trips. The hotel is on the top of a hill so expect having […] to take a cab or walk down steps, located near the hotel, to get down to the main shopping/attractions. It is worth it for the view of all of the Bay of Naples though! Would highly recommend this hotel. Les mer

The hotel is great but we found the location to be remote from all activities,such as restaurants and stores. +

Hotel has a beautiful view of Naples, especially from the restaurant at the top of the hotel. Room was nice and bathroom was very large and included double sinks, which is unusual in Europe. Staff tried to be very helpful. Bed was very comfortable.

My wife and I had a tremendously enjoyable stay at the hotel. Max, the bellman, was especially helpful with dinner reservations and taxi arrangements. We enjoyed Campari and sodas on the terrace overlooking the bay, and we dined at the hotel restaurant, George. It was a first class meal with exceptional service. Great view of Naples Bay. Small mix up when I checked in but they quickly fixed it. Staff was extremly courtious and helpfull. The distance you need to travel(taxi) to dining etc is worth what you receive in the view. Breathtaking! I would never go anywhere else in Naples.

Great view, clean and front desk very helpful

Everything was excellent, from the small balcony with views of the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius and Capri to the wide, elegant and tastefully decorated hallways. Whether we were coming or going, the staff would always stop what they were doing to greet us and open the doors. A little away from the main tourist sites, there were friendly neighborhood restaurants […] and the excellent rooftop restaurant at the hotel. This hotel truly deserves its 5 star rating. Les mer

전망이 최고인 호텔임. 서비스도 대체로 만족했으나, 저녁식사후에 서비스료가 포함되지 않았다며, 서비스료를 달라는듯한 인상을 받았음. 주차도 좋았음. 호텔이 약간은 오래되어서 낡은 인상을 받았음. 가격은 약간 비싼것 같음. 저녁식사도 좋았으나, 아침은 5성으로 보기에는 약간 모자란듯...

lidt slidt men meget god service og fin beliggen hed ift funicolare ( metro) til at komme rundt. fint roligt kvarter

Breakfast buffet lovely, the staff kind and accommodating, fantastistic view of the Gulf of Naples, great rooms - the only downside is the distance to the centre of the neighbourhood Chiaia - but this could be circumvented by taking a taxi downtown, which will cost you 8 euro.

Níce hotel, but a 4-star level. Nice breakfast with a beautiful view from the terrace. Small, dark rooms. A long distance to the center of the town.

hotel heeft zijn beste tijd gehad. haren in de badkamer, geen bereik in de kamer voor mobiele telefoon, matig comfort in de kamer voor een 5 stereen hotel. Beautycenter had slechts italiaans-talig personeel, afspraak voor behandeling was niet mogelijk aangezien het overboekt was. Al met al matig hotel voor een 5* hotel, weinig voorzieningen voor zakenhotel, […] vooral geschikt voor romatisch weekendje weg. Les mer
