Hotellet ligger midt i Sonoma Valley og er et ypperlig utgangspunkt for å oppleve flotte vingårder, drikke god vin og nyte deilige dager i solen. Servicen er korrekt og hyggelig, rommene store og komfortable, treningsrom, basseng og uteområder ypperlig vedlikeholdt. Restauranten er både koselig holder høy kvalitet. Spesielt vil vi framheve frokosten, selv om man faktisk må bestille bord og beregne litt ventetid om morgenen. For golfere betyr det også en del at hotellet ligger mellom to gode golfbaner og gjestene får rabatt. Den dagen vi ankom ble vi endog invitert på rimelig "farmers" evening, med ølsmaking, servering av lokale spesialiteter og deilg mat med masse øl til....

Dette hotelle overrasker, det er rent og det ser bra ut. Det er opptil norsk standard og man betaler litt over halv pris. Det er et basseng, og et treningsrom, men treningsrommet var ikke mye å skryte av dessverre, men det er en fin sti bak hotellet man kan gå eller jogge. Hotellet hadde meget bra frokost og den varte en stund. Det er kort vei til alt og man hører heller ikke noe støy utenfra, noe som kan være et problem ved andre hoteller. Det er kort vei til mall og outlet og det er i god stand. Servicen er også veldig bra her, de hjelper deg med det meste.

Great Location, walking distance from numerous bars & restaurants. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for the uninsulated walls, the extremely loud ice maker, and the heat/cool unit that tired to kill us. The first night we were next to an ice maker that turns on and off at 10min intervals and kept us up all night. The hotel moved us […] to a much nicer room but the walls are so thin you can still hear everything. The heat/cool unit is either one extreme or the other. The rooms are cute and the bedding is nice. The hotel is in an excellent location. Walking distance to many restaurants. The bed was so comfortable and you felt almost at home rather than in a hotel.
"A regular favorite"
I have always enjoyed NRI...close (well...literally right on the door step) to the terrific downtown restaurants, good parking, free wifi, great front desk, comfy rooms, copy of the New York Times in the lobby and a tiny vanity touch I know, but they DO remember their previous guests. I like it a lot......letting it down this stay is the unexpected […] and really obvious drop in bathroom cleaning standards and the not-their-fault-I-know but the utterly indifferent customer service at the nearby coffee shop. "Nice hotel, BUT"
We stayed in executive room, which suppose to have view, instead we had a very small window in the corner of the room and even do it was nice sunny day outside, it was so dark in the room that even to get dressed we had to have lights on. Very disappointing. Luckily we booked only one night at that hotel.

I could not fault this hotel in any way. The service provided by the reception staff was most excellent. The room was beautifullly decorated and furnished with a very comfortable bed. The room and en-suite were spotlessly clean with a double shower and a roll top bath. Bathrobes were also provided. I only wished we had time to spend longer at this […] hotel. "Can't sleep at the Napa River Inn"
We had a first floor room, with outside windows. The light coming in from outside made it IMPOSSIBLE to sleep. The staff was nice and had to go out and remove the bulb from the light. Still was bright however

"Great Hotel"
The hotel staff had a bottle of champagne sent to our room on our anniversary! The hotel is beautiful and the beds are so comfortable.I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Napa

"Napa River Inn"
This was just a great setting for our family... close to truly great restaurants and shopping, easy access to wineries, and really nice staff. The only criticism I would have is that the decor is edging up toward needing an overhaul, very nice, but a little dated.

What a wonderful experience. I confess, I chose the hotel based on the price. But what a surprise! The hotel was quaint, easy to navigate and right in the heart of a tiny community that made sure they didn't miss a thing. Local restaurants, little shops, and wineries galore. Don't hesitate to book this little hotel. It's a gem.

The overall experience was a good one, but the wall paper, brick, carpet and bedspread were a riot of patterns.

ROOM WAS NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED. WE BOOKED AT THE SAME TIME AS FRIENDS WE WERE TRAVELING WITH AND WE RECEIVED A MUCH LESS DESIREABLE ROOM. WHEN WE COMPLAINED, THEY SAID THE COULD NOT HELP US BECAUSE WE BOOKED THROUGH 'EXPEDIA'...LEARNING THEN THAT EXPEDIA IS THE UMBRELLA FOR MANY SITES (INCL HOTELS.COM). THEY WOULD NOT HELP US UNTIL THE FINAL NIGHT AND […] WHEN WE WERE MOVED TO ANOTHER, MORE DESIREABLE, ROOM, WE WERE CHARGED $60. WHEN I ASKED WHY 60, THEY SAID, IT'S A BALLPARK NUMBER BASED ON THE NORMAL UPCHARGE. WE WERE MUCH HAPPIER WITH THE NEWER ROOM, WHICH IS WHAT WE EXPECTED WHEN WE BOOKED. WE ANTICIPATED WHAT WE SAW ON THE LINK TO THEIR WEBSITE. WE HAD TO ASK FOR THE AMENITIES THAT ARE CLEARLY STATED ON ALL ROOMS BOOKED, TO INCLUDE A CA BREAKFAST. ONCE WE WERE SETTLED, THE FOOD, WHICH WAS DELIVERED ON TIME, WAS DELICIOUS. A PLUS...THE BEDDING WAS HIGH QUALITY AND THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, BUT NOT VERY ACCOMODATING. THIS WAS OUR 28TH ANNIVERSARY AND NOT TO MENTION WE TRAVELED A LONG DISTANCE AND MET DEAR FRIENDS...WE WERE NOT IMPRESSED AND WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN. THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER, FAR MORE DESIREABLE, HOTELS IN THE AREA. WE WILL DO MORE HOMEWORK IN THE FUTURE. NOT SURE HOW THEY GOT A 3 1/2 STARS.. STARS. Les mer
"Great location, nice hotel, nice room"
Overall, everything was great. We booked one of the historic rooms with a clawfoot tub. Unfortunately, the drain plug wouldn't seal, so we could not try it out.

"If your gonna pay high Napa prices, go elsewhere"
Positives: 1. Good downtown Napa location. 2. Nice Staff. 3 Bicycle rental is free. 4. Lots of good dining very close. Negatives: 1. Overpriced for what you get compared to other Napa hotels at the same price range. 2. Rooms are very small. (all standard rooms are on the first level, small, dated furniture, beds and the bathroom is very dated). 3. […] There idea of a quality TV is a old box type TV. 4. Wall have little soundproofing. 5. Beds are not very good. 6. Expect the cleanliness of the room to be poor(we changed rooms but still same issue).....make sure to spill a cup of coffee on the bed on check in and have them change the sheets. Also, a good idea to wash the glass drinking cups before you use them. Overall: If you are in Napa for a special occasion or any occasion that you expect a QUALITY night stay than DO NOT stay here.....Best Western, or any other chain is a better bet at least there you get a free breakfast. "Napa River Inn - great location"
This is the second time I've stayed at the Napa River Inn. It is a good hotel in a great location. I like the historic charm of the hotel, it's location by the river, and it's close walking distance proximity to restaurants, shops and downtown Napa. Our room was nicely outfitted with a nautical theme, a nice big bathroom, comfortable bed, etc... except […] unfortunately the standard rooms have queen beds instead of kings. I had a room facing the parking lot and on the bottom floor therefore I heard a bit of noise in the morning but other than that it's a very quiet location. And I loved the Sweetie Pies Bakery! I'd stay at the Napa River Inn again. Les mer

Our stay over the 4th of July weekend was pleasent and the room we had at the Napa River Inn was awesome. We upraded to an executive room for a few dollars more and were very pleased with the room location, the room as well as the amenties.

"Romantic getaway"
This was the last leg of a 2500 mile road trip and the staff was very accommodating. They understood that we wanted comfort and they upgraded us at no additional charge. The room was extremely nice. We have stated there 3 times and never been disapointed.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel, however there was superb service from staff (I arrived v early but they got my room sorted quickly), room was big, very clean and well presented. Its very convienently located by the River and nowhere near main roads. Only thing was the air con unit in the room was rather loud, plus I was on the ground floor […] fronting out to the main car park which meant as people arrived late at night I got woken up a couple of times :( Les mer
