Check in was going well, then the desk clerk mention the elevator's were out of service. After using the stairs to carry bags to the top level of the Hotel. Got old real quick. Needless to say got to my room and I walk in tot he maintenance man working in the room. He called down stairs to desk clerk and new room was assign again on the top level of […] the hotel. the refrigerator was luke warm, the room appear to be dated. Just not a great Marriott experience at all. Les mer

The elevators were out of service making it very hard to get to the upper floors, this problem occured the whole three days I was a guest of the hotel. The bathroom tub was also stopped up causing water to remain in the tub after my shower was complete.

Our recent stay at the Springhill Suites in MIlford CT was very satisfactory. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. When we had a problem with the wired internet cable in our room, they replaced it promptly and with a smile. Their complimentary breakfast was better than others I have experienced. I liked the fact that they had a small store stocked […] with snack foods, microwavable entrees, etc. I would gladly stay there again if I needed to be back in that area. Les mer

Extremely clean and comfortable. A pleasant surprise.

The hotel is clean and professional. My only complaint is the layout of the hotel room. It was a very long but narrow room. They are creative with the position of the bathroom with the sink outside of the room with the toilet and shower/tub. The closet is a bit small and positioned a bit tight so as removing the luggage rack was a bit tricky. The A/C […] was located below the window which was right against the bed. I had to place a few of the extra pillows (nice to have) between the vents and me. The fridge was a bit old with a rack missing, but still working fine. My big issue was the TV. It was placed in the middle of the room between the bed and the living room. While I would have preferred a separate TV for the bed area, there just wasn't any space to place one, nor a flat wall facing the bed. The true issue is that there is a full-height wall separating the living area from the bed area. The wall is only about 5 feet wide, but it was just long enough to obstruct my view from the bed. So, I could not sit-up in bed and watch TV. I felt like a kid laying across the foot of the bed watching TV. Overall, nice and clean place (as expected with Marriott's), just an annoying layout for weight-challenged or the TV-in-bed-addicted. Les mer

We stayed here as we had just experienced a hurricane and had no power or water. I found this to be a lovely hotel. The front staff were friendly and helpful, the room layout very nice and overall, it was a great stay. Would recommend this hotel.

Good overall experience, they have a bar in the lobby which is rare. It is in the middle of nowhwere CT, but great stay if you want a place to crash while driving through the state. Easy to get to, lots of parking. The rooms are very nice and spacious. Would return.

Hotel was insanely close to 95 easy on and off. The hotel staff was really accommodating and considerate. Room was clean and somewhat roomy. I wished there were 2 televisions since the room does have space for it. Imagine trying to wrest a TV away from a 12 year old. The pool was too small and there were too many people for us to use that day.

Our room was spacious and clean. The free breakfast was more than just toast and juice. The pool was disappointing. Its too small, the size of a hot tub.

This hotel was a great value for the money. The front desk staff was delightful and helpful. The room was spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. It was better than most of the hotels we stayed in in CT as far as cleanliness goes, i'd give it a 95% clean and pleasant. Although near the highway we found it was nonetheless quiet. Shower had great water […] pressure and was spotless. Bed was comfy. There was a refridgerator and a microwave in the room, along with TV and seating area. We booked two rooms a couple of days ahead and requested a crib for one of them and either adjoining rooms or at least rooms close to on another so that my wife could help with the grandkids. When they arrived they were on differnet floors and neither room had a crib and it was late so there was no ability to change to different rooms. Not much within 4 miles of th hotel, but great room great staff, and quick deliverly and many choices for food, Breakfast was very good. I would stay again while traveling

Great service (check-in at 10pm took about 4 minutes); excellent, clean small suite; and right off the highway.

Upon my late arrival the staff was warm and friendly after my drive from maryland ... the clerk was very nice and helpful and all round very nice.. on into the next day the hotel staff was warm and helpful with all that we ask.. it was just a wonderful stay... and will be looking forward to my next visit..

I stayed here with my boyfriend over the weekend, and boy, was this place busy. There was a Teenage Girl Convention (otherwise known as a girls' traveling softball team) staying at the hotel on that weekend and it was awful. The teenage girls were loud and obnoxious and their parents weren't much better. Check-in was easy, but the hotel clerk was obviously […] frustrated and had to keep reminding teenage girls coming from the pool that they needed to dry off and put on shoes before coming into the hotel lobby. We made it to the continental breakfast on Sunday, and the place was in absolute chaos and I wasn't able to get a whole lot of food. Despite the free breakfast, we had to go out to eat because the softball team and their parents had pretty much cleaned out the breakfast bar. Perhaps it was because of the busy weekend, but the hotel staff in general seemed annoyed and try very hard to hide it. No one was impolite at the front desk, just fatigued and stressed. The housekeeping staff, however, was downright surly. My boyfriend and I smiled and said hello to the women cleaning rooms on our floor, and got a rude glare in response. The room itself was just fine. It was clean, though not up to the standards of other Marriott hotels I have stayed at. My boyfriend and I left a note for the housekeeping staff asking them to change the sheets, and I was dismayed to realize that the housekeeping staff had simply turned them inside out when making the bed. The room also had a wall separating the couch area from the bed, which meant that half of the room got no natural light. They may want to tear those walls down if they ever decide to remodel. There is ONE elevator in the hotel and it is the slowest I have ever encountered. It clangs and clatters up and down, and it's a little bit nerve-wracking. It sounds like it's one heavy passenger away from turning into the Tower of Terror. The hotel is right off 95, but there isn't a whole lot directly near the hotel. There is also Les mer

This hotel/motel had just about everything we expected. the only thing that takes away from it is that I like to have a freezer in the fridge but this one actually froze everything on the top shelf anyway so it worked out okay. The morning breakfast was fair but my husband really didn't care for their coffee. I had the oatmeal which was pre cooked but […] was about the consistancy of wall paper paste. We arrived very late, and were welcomed nicely. Room was clean and fresh; a nice welcome from a long day.

We had read other reviews so we expected more. The room was tiny for 3 people. When we tried to open the sofa bed we found we had to move the TV bureau to allow the bed to open. Then we couldn't get from one side of the room to the other. The refrigerator did not work, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, and there was an unpleasant odor to the […] room and we had problems with the toilet. We chose this hotel due to its convenient location right off I-95 and the good price, but it was packed by 9pm when we checked in & everything about the hotel felt very small: only one slow elevator, double beds were too small for four of us, room layout was really tight & even the pool was overcrowded. Very good breakfast the next morning, though!

The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was good. We were visiting the Yale campus and we found it to be a little further away than we thought. The traffic on the interstate in generally heavy so it takes longer driving to Yale. If we visit the campus again, I think we will look for a place closer in.

Friendly staff. Wonderful and clean room. Better quality than most. Warning: It is easy to miss. The address is correct and my GPS lead me to the correct place but it is not on the main road but behind a building that is on the main road on an almost obscure road that is immediately next to the off ramp on the highway. This hotel was very convenient to both Yale, where I was helping my daughter with dorm move-out and also close to I95 expressway and milford shopping and dining. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms impeccable. This is my 3rd stay here and will continue to use this hotel. breakfast was also good. Thanks for a great stay.

Once we found it tucked away behind Red Roof Inn, it was fantastic! The breakfast was great, room service was too.

Great hotel. I was there with my son and his friend for a basketball tournament so we were unable to enjoy all the amenities. There were many. The room was very spacious and more comfortable then staying in a regular room. It had the touches of any other Marriott. Very unprofessional and rude She would not work with us and did not make us feel like we were the customer she has a lot of work to do to be at the front desk greeting customers Rating for customer service was below par!!!!!!!!

Pool and hot tub water was green. Furnishings need to be updated.

The hotel staff was very courteous. Nice place. The pool and hottub were perfect. I reccomend this place. Good breakfast. The only thing i didn't like was I was on the second floor and there were no ice machines on that floor.
