"Springhill Suites in Milford, CT"
The basic room was clean and comfortable, however, the housekeeping staff turned the heat all the way up and it was well over 80F in the room. I finally had to turn the air conditioning on (in January) to cool it down to the point of being bearable. Also, the shower curtain smelled of mold or mildew.

Although my stay was very brief, I was thrilled with the accessibility with the highway and cleanliness. I will definetly stay again.

overall, great place to stay.but, they only have ice machines on every other floor.that's great unless you're on the odd floor that does not have an ice machine.like i was.

"House keepers"
The house keeping staff was not pleasant at all. As you passed them in the hall none smiled and when I was going to get on an elevator the house keeper got in and was not courteous enough to let us go and got very snotty but I think it was just her individual attitude. Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

"Clean and convenient"
The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the hotel was well placed right off of I-95.
Our family had a great time here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a little situation with the quests staying in the room next to ours but the staff was able to switch our rooms without a problem.
"Great place on the cheap"
We stayed here for a wake. It was right off the highway, which was fantastic. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. My only complaint is that the ac/heat system was making a clanking noise so I couldn't use it overnight, so the air felt stagnant (I like moving air). I did not contact the hotel that night because I was already unpacked and tired, […] and really didn't want to be moved or have a repair person take a look at it, so we lived with it. The continental breakfast was one of the best I've had in a while. It's a hotel, so it won't be personalized, but there were warm options (eggs and sausage, self-made waffles) and cold (muffins, yogurt, bananas/apples, cereal, juice). Very pleased overall. the only thing I was not satisfied was the free breakfast offer that came with the reservation......there was this small breakfast room with many people cramped in it for some very low quality, low budget breakfast items....I guess that's what you get for a free breakfast but the saleperson at the hotel.com mislead us on this item

Lots of breakfast food and very large rooms, I paid about $85 which is a steal for the area, and much cleaner and updated than other options.

"Spring Hill Suites - Very nice place to stay"
Very clean, love the kitchenette area. And a nice place to stay for a while. Nothing is really close to the hotel other than other hotels, but if you go on the post road by the mall, you can find any store, restaurant you want in the area.
everything was wonderful, the staff were extraordinary helpful.. I would definitely recommend 1 of my friends staying at this hotel .thanks again springhill .
"Saved us from the power outage misery"
This wasn't our house, but it was the closest we could get during 7 days of no power. This place made a really terrible week with a 6 week old and 3 year old tolerable.

Staff was really friendly, and the hotel was easily accessible. The bar was open late, which was fantastic, and the free breakfast in the morning was perfect. I had two rooms reserved, and both were clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again.

"Nice for the price"
Much more inexpensive compared to surrounding. College visit to Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac, very convenient location, room was clean. Front desk very nice, even made us some hot chocolate when we had a very late check-in. Very satisfied.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was clean but seemed like it may have not been used in awhile. Could have used freshening and dusting, otherwise a great stay.

"Everything the reviews said"
Guest reception was extremely nice and went out of their way to be helpful. Rooms were large and very clean. 4 pillows on each bed! Breakfast had a lot of choices. Only thing: no available electric outlets near the beds. Had to move clock and do without reading light to plug in medical equipment.
"Mold in the A/C"
There was mold in the A/C, slow drain in the bathroom sink. The elevator didn't work for 3 out of the 5 nights we were there. The rooms were clean, breakfast is ok and easy on/off I-95.

Check in was going well, then the desk clerk mention the elevator's were out of service. After using the stairs to carry bags to the top level of the Hotel. Got old real quick. Needless to say got to my room and I walk in tot he maintenance man working in the room. He called down stairs to desk clerk and new room was assign again on the top level of […] the hotel. the refrigerator was luke warm, the room appear to be dated. The elevators were out of service making it very hard to get to the upper floors, this problem occured the whole three days I was a guest of the hotel. The bathroom tub was also stopped up causing water to remain in the tub after my shower was complete.

Our recent stay at the Springhill Suites in MIlford CT was very satisfactory. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. When we had a problem with the wired internet cable in our room, they replaced it promptly and with a smile. Their complimentary breakfast was better than others I have experienced. "Bad Layout"
The hotel is clean and professional. My only complaint is the layout of the hotel room. It was a very long but narrow room. They are creative with the position of the bathroom with the sink outside of the room with the toilet and shower/tub. The closet is a bit small and positioned a bit tight so as removing the luggage rack was a bit tricky. The A/C […] was located below the window which was right against the bed. I had to place a few of the extra pillows (nice to have) between the vents and me. The fridge was a bit old with a rack missing, but still working fine. My big issue was the TV. It was placed in the middle of the room between the bed and the living room. While I would have preferred a separate TV for the bed area, there just wasn't any space to place one, nor a flat wall facing the bed. The true issue is that there is a full-height wall separating the living area from the bed area. The wall is only about 5 feet wide, but it was just long enough to obstruct my view from the bed. So, I could not sit-up in bed and watch TV. I felt like a kid laying across the foot of the bed watching TV. Overall, nice and clean place (as expected with Marriott's), just an annoying layout for weight-challenged or the TV-in-bed-addicted. Les mer
"Spring hill Suites nice stay, lovely staff"
We stayed here as we had just experienced a hurricane and had no power or water. I found this to be a lovely hotel. The front staff were friendly and helpful, the room layout very nice and overall, it was a great stay. Would recommend this hotel.

Good overall experience, they have a bar in the lobby which is rare. It is in the middle of nowhwere CT, but great stay if you want a place to crash while driving through the state. Easy to get to, lots of parking. The rooms are very nice and spacious. Would return.

Hotel was insanely close to 95 easy on and off. The hotel staff was really accommodating and considerate. Room was clean and somewhat roomy. I wished there were 2 televisions since the room does have space for it. Imagine trying to wrest a TV away from a 12 year old. The pool was too small and there were too many people for us to use that day.

This hotel was a great value for the money. The front desk staff was delightful and helpful. The room was spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. It was better than most of the hotels we stayed in in CT as far as cleanliness goes, i'd give it a 95% clean and pleasant. Although near the highway we found it was nonetheless quiet. Shower had great water […] pressure and was spotless. Bed was comfy. There was a refridgerator and a microwave in the room, along with TV and seating area. We booked two rooms a couple of days ahead and requested a crib for one of them and either adjoining rooms or at least rooms close to on another so that my wife could help with the grandkids. When they arrived they were on differnet floors and neither room had a crib and it was late so there was no ability to change to different rooms.
